Abstract

This study seeks to examine the influence of financial literacy and social media on the consumption behavior of students at SMA Negeri 1 Padang. This is a quantitative research endeavor. The study population comprises eleventh-grade students specializing in Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Padang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample size was calculated via the Yamane formula, yielding 105 samples. A stratified random sampling strategy was utilized for sample selection in a proportionate manner. The obtained data consists of primary data kinds according to established criteria. The analysis was performed via multiple regression analysis through SPSS. The results demonstrate that (1) financial literacy substantially influences the consumptive behavior of students at SMA Negeri 1 Padang, (2) social media also exerts a considerable effect on the students' consumptive behavior, and (3) the combined effect of financial literacy and social media significantly impacts the consumptive behavior of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of innovation and digital business literacy on the competitive advantage of home-based culinary SMEs registered by GoFood in Padang City. This type of research is an associative descriptive study. The population in this study are home-based culinary SMEs registered by GoFood in Padang City. The sample used was 75 SMEs using proportional non random sampling. The type of data in this study is primary data. Data processing uses SPSS22. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data that has been collected was analyzed by descriptive analysis. This study uses multiple regression analysis.Based on the results of the study, it is known that innovation has a significant effect on the competitive advantage of home-based culinary MSME actors registered with GoFood in Padang City with a value of Sig 0.011<0.05, digital business literacy has a significant effect on the competitive advantage of home-based culinary MSME actors registered with GoFood in Padang City with Sig 0.002< 0.05, innovation and digital business literacy have a significant effect on the competitive advantage of home-based culinary SMEs registered by GoFood in Padang City with Sig 0.024 <0.05

Abstract

Abstrak Kelompok Pengolah dan Pemasar (POKLAHSAR) Bali Ulak Karang dan Pantai Gurun yang berada di Kota Padang masih termasuk dalam skala kecil dan menengah. POKLAHSAR ini menggunakan tenaga kerja lepas yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Kelompok ini memasok ikan segar sekitar 20 kilogram dan mengolah sekitar 10 kilogram ikan setiap hari. Saat ini, kedua POKLAHSAR menghadapi beberapa permasalahan: (1) Hasil pengolahan produksi ikan yang kurang menarik, (2) Daerah pemasaran hasil produksi hanya untuk pasar lokal Kota Padang dan sekitarnya, dan (3) Mitra belum memiliki legalitas izin BPOM. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, tim pengabdian melakukan beberapa kegiatan: (1) Memberikan pendampingan kepada mitra dalam membuat berbagai produk olahan ikan, (2) Membantu dalam desain merek, logo dan kemasan sehingga produk menjadi lebih menarik dan berkualitas, (3) Memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada mitra dalam pengurusan izin BPOM, (4) Memberikan pelatihan serta pendampingan pembuatan media promosi online untuk produk yang dihasilkan oleh kedua mitra. Kata kunci: pemasaran; pengolahan ikan; BPOM. Abstract Bali Ulak Karang and Pantai Gurun Processing and Marketing Groups (POKLAHSAR) located in Padang City are small or medium scale. These POKLAHSARs use daily labor, most of whom are housewives. This group supply around 20 kilograms of fresh fish and process around 10 kilograms of fish every day. Currently, both POKLAHSARs are facing several problems: (1) Results of fish processing are less attractive, (2) Marketing for the production results is only for local market, and (3) Partners do not yet have BPOM permit. To overcome these problems, the team carried out several activities: (1) Providing assistance in making various products from processed fish, (2) Assisting in designing brands, logos, and packaging so that products become more attractive and of higher quality, (3) Providing training and assistance to partners in managing BPOM permits, (4) Providing training and assistance in making online promotional media for products produced by the two partners. Keywords: marketing; food processing; BPOM.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Kelompok Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Ikan Kasiak Badoro, Kota Padang. Kelompok ini berfokus pada pengolahan ikan menjadi ikan kering yang dijual di pasar, perkantoran, dan secara online. Kelompok ini belum bisa memasarkan produknya ke pasar swalayan karena belum memiliki logo merek dan izin PIRT (Produk Industri Rumah Tangga) sebagai syarat untuk memasarkan produk di sana. Kelompok ini juga belum mengetahui cara mengurus PIRT. Untuk pemasaran secara online, kelompok ini memanfaatkan media sosial Facebook untuk menjual produknya namun hanya melalui akun ketua Poklahsar. Pemasaran di media sosial dilakukan hanya sebagai usaha sampingan apabila terjadi kelebihan produk yang dihasilkan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra, maka dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan dengan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Kelompok dapat membuat produk olahan ikan menjadi makanan olahan siap saji atau Frozen Food, (2) Kelompok memiliki pemahaman terkait pendaftaran PIRT, dan (3) Kelompok memiliki keterampilan dalam memasarkan produk secara online. Kata kunci: nelayan; pemasaran; manajemen. Abstract This community service was held at the Kasiak Badoro Processing and Marketing Group in Padang City. This group focuses on processing fish into dried fish sold in markets, offices, and online. The group has not been able to market its product to supermarkets because it does not yet have a brand logo and PIRT (Household Industry Food) permit as a requirement to market products there. The group also does not know how to apply for PIRT. For online marketing, the group uses Facebook social media to sell its products but only through the account of the Poklahsar chairman. To overcome various problems, training and focus group discussions were carried out with the following results: (1) The group can make processed fish products into ready-to-eat processed foods or Frozen Food, (2) The group has an understanding related to PIRT registration, and (3) The group has skills in marketing products online. Keywords: fishermen;  marketing; management.

Abstract

Provinsi Sumatera Barat (Sumbar) menjadi wisata prioritas 2023 oleh Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif yang akan kaya dengan potensi wisata alam, budaya serta usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM). Masyarakat sekitar Danau Maninjau sebagian besar mendapatan penghasilannya dari karamba ikan akan tetapi keramba ikan sekarang sudah sering tercemar. Maka dari pada itu perlu adanya usaha pengadaan pemberdayaan ekonomi agar masyarakat mulai beralih menjadi new entrepreneur. Tujuan dari program PKM ini adalah memberikan keterampilan Make Up  dan fotography serta memberikan pelatihan pembuatan media promosi untuk jasa yang dihasilkan. Metode kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini melalui tahapan persiapan, pertemuan penyamaan persepsi dan diskusi bentuk kegiatan dengan mitra, persiapan pelaksanaan, kegiatan inti serta evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari PKM ini adalah peserta memeliki keterampilan Make UP Artist (MUA) sehingga permintaan penyewaan pelaminan sekaligus tata rias penganten dan keluarga penganten dapat dipenuhi. Selain itu, peserta dapat menyediakan jasa fotografi untuk acara pernikahan dan juga di objek wisata sekitar Danau Maninjau. Kemudian peserta dapat membuat media promosi untuk jasa yang mereka hasilkan. Dari pelatihan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan peserta dapat menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan Make Up Artist (MUA), fotografi dan pembuatan media promosi.

Abstract

Responding to the latest policy set by the Minister of Education and Culture related to the preparation of Learning plans which must include 4C skills in learning activities, however, the readiness and skills of teachers in designing lessons that contain these 4C skills, from planning, implementation and evaluation are still lacking. Based on these problems, it is important for teachers to get training related to the 4C skills, in order to form a generation that has competencies that are able to compete in the future, therefore the community service team carries out community service activities with the methods or approaches used in community service. this community is training with integrated guidance consisting of offline activities, online activities and assignment activities. This activity was attended by 20 Economics teachers in Payakumbuh City which was equivalent to 32 hours of training in 3 months of implementation. This community service activity was carried out well with increasing teacher competence in designing economic learning plans based on 4C learning skills

Abstract

The coastal area of Padang City, particularly Ulak Karang Selatan, possesses abundant fisheries resources. However, local fishing communities still face challenges such as limited product innovation, weak branding, inadequate financial management skills, and minimal use of digital marketing. This community service program aimed to empower the Kelompok Pengolah dan Pemasar (POKLAHSAR) through training in fisheries product innovation, particularly the processing of fish into value-added products such as dim sum and batagor. The program was complemented by capacity-building activities in digital marketing, business financial management, and the design of product logos and packaging. The activities were conducted using a participatory approach through counseling, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ skills, particularly in production, financial recording, and digital marketing strategies. Furthermore, participant evaluation revealed a high level of satisfaction, with an average achievement of over 90% across all indicators. This program not only enhanced the economic capacity of fishing households but also contributed to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of product quality (X1) and price (X2) on Samsung smartphone purchasing decisions (Y) among students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The research approach employed was exploratory research, with variables measured on a Likert scale. The data collection method is a questionnaire using Google Form, with the research population consisting of all active students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The sampling technique is purposive sampling with a sample size of 97. The sample criteria included active students at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) at the time of the study who had acquired a Samsung smartphone. The data is processed using SPSS software version 20, which includes descriptive analysis, classical assumption analysis, and hypothesis testing. The study found that product quality and price have a significant and favorable impact on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Abstrak Nagari (Desa) Garagahan adalah nagari tertua di Kecamatan Lubuk Basung. Nagari ini memiliki alam yang indah dan sangat cocok untuk dikembangkan potensi pariwisatanya. Selain wisata alam dan budaya, Nagari Garagahan terkenal memiliki UMKM Cincau Hijau, yang memasok 80% dari cincau hijau yang ada dipasaran Lubuk Basung. Namun demikian seluruh potensi tersebut belum ada upaya yang lebih masif untuk menggali dan mengelola, hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya sumberdaya manusia serta sense of belonging masyarakat yang masih belum terbangun secara maksimal. Dari permasalahan diatas maka kegiatan pengabdian ini akan terinternalisasi kedalam Rencana Jangka Menengah (RPJM) Nagari, sehingga pengabdian ini memiliki urgensi untuk dilaksanakan. Untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang dihadapi oleh mitra maka tim pengabdian Universitas Negeri Padang menyusun solusi sebagai berikut: (1) Pendampingan penentuan lokasi wisata berbasis budaya Nagari garagahan, (2) Melakukan pelatihan manajemen wisata kepada anggota pojok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis), (3) Melakukan Pelatihan Manajemen UMKM. Untuk mencapai hasil tersebut, tim pengabdian menggunakan tiga metode pendekatan, yaitu: survey lapangan, pendampingan, pelatihan, dan praktek langsung. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan ini adalah, (1) Pemetaan lokasi wisata di Nagari Garagahan, (2) Peningkatan keberdayaan Masyarakat Nagari Garagahan melalui Pariwista dan Pengembangan UMKM. Kata kunci: sustainable tourism; UMKM; manajemen. Abstract Nagari Garagahan is the oldest village in Lubuk Basung District. This village has beautiful nature and is very suitable for developing its tourism potential. In addition to natural and cultural tourism, Nagari Garagahan is famous for having an MSME that produces Green Grass Jelly, which supplies 80% of the green grass jelly available on the Lubuk Basung market. However, there has been no more massive effort to explore and manage all of this potential, due to the lack of human resources and the community's sense of belonging which has not been optimally built. From the problems above, this community service activity will be internalized into the Village Medium-Term Plan (RPJM), so that this activity has an urgency to be implemented. To overcome various problems faced by Nagari Garagahan, the community service team has prepared the following solutions: (1) Assistance in determining cultural-based tourism locations in Nagari Garagahan, (2) Conducting tourism management training for members of the Tourism Awareness Corner (Pokdarwis), (3) Conducting MSME Management Training. To achieve these results, the community service team used three approaches: field surveys, mentoring, training, and direct practice. The outputs are (1) Mapping of tourist locations in Nagari Garagahan, (2) Increasing the empowerment of the Nagari Garagahan community through tourism and UMKM development. Keywords: sustainable tourism;  MSME; management.
