Abstract

Expansive clay is a soil that has a low carrying capacity and high shrinkage growth. Tthe soil has certain limited physical and mechanical properties. Therefore a stabilization is needed so that the parametric soils values ​​become better so that they can be used as subgrade in a construction. Tests carried out include, specific gravity testing, liquid limits, plastic limits, and compaction testing with proctor test and CBR test. The soil was used in this study was taken from the area Bujur Timur, Pamekasan. The soil included the CH group with a plasticity index of 43.5%. The percentage of addition of rice straw is 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% of the dry weight of the soil. The most optimum of proctor test results are the addition of rice straw ash by 5.8% with 0MC (Optimum Moisture Content) value of 15,20 % and dry content weight 1.72 gr/cm3. The optimum test results with 7.8% rice straw ash with a CBR value of 5.4% so that can be used for alternative soil improvement. Abstract

Bentuk konstruksi badan jalan terdiri dari beberapa lapis perkerasan yang tiap lapisnya memiliki jenis dan ketebalan tertentu, yaitu lapisan tanah dasar (sub grade), lapis pondasi bawah (sub base), lapis pondasi atas (base) dan lapis permukaan (surface). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Preloading, sehingga diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan penurunan tanah di lapangan. Adapun data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yakni data bor log test, klasifikasi kondisi setiap lapisan tanah, tes pemadatan tanah. Berdasarkan analisa data yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tinggi timbunan pada saat menggunakan preloading dan tanpa menggunakan preloading adalah sama yaitu sebesar 1,50 m.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of cultures, ethnicities, and natural resources which are one of the foundations of the Indonesian state making this diversity the basis for developing tourism objects. Various riches and cultural diversity that the Indonesian state has, there is one area that has a wealth of religious culture, namely in Giri Village, Gresik Regency. The problem that will be studied in this research is the mapping of facilities and infrastructure owned by religious cultural tourism in Giri village, Gresik Regency. The purpose of this study is to present information in the form of a map of facilities and infrastructure on the availability of the needs of tourists who come to the location. The data collection method used in this study is the method of documentation and observation. The documentation method is used to find out information in the form of notes to obtain secondary data, namely administrative limits, number of visitors, and the road network around the tourist village. The next method, namely the observation method, is carried out by identifying conditions in the field to obtain data on object points astronomically. The data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis to provide an overview to the community and local government regarding the mapping to be carried out. The expected result of this mapping is a thematic map in the form of a blueprint of an administrative map and a map of pre-tourism facilities mapped using the ArcMap program. The conclusions that will be obtained from this survey and mapping will be used to determine the availability of facilities and infrastructure in sunan giri religious tourism in Giri Village, Gresik Regency, East Java.

Abstract

The wharf is one of the supporting facilities for the process of loading and unloading goods on ships. For services for long-term ships and loads caused by the process of loading and unloading ships, the safety of the wharf needs to be improved by strengthening the foundation. Berlian Pier uses a steel pile foundation with a diameter of 1.016 m and a length of 32 m. This study used the Meyerhoff method to calculate the bearing capacity of the piles and N-SPT data for the Reinforcement of Wharf Structures Using Diameter Variations at Berlian Surabaya Pier. Based on the re-planning that has been done, it is concluded that a diameter of 1.00 m and a length of 32 m obtains a single pile bearing capacity of 8164 Tons, shear resistance of 28120.4 Tons, axial bearing capacity of 8345.42 Tons. Immediate settlement of 38.551 mm, annual settlement of 00,0201 mm, long-term settlement of 0,193 mm, and total settlement of 48,050 mm. Keywords: Variation Diameter, Carrying Capacity, Settlement

Abstract

Soil acts as a building material in various types of civil engineering work, on the other hand land plays a role as a support for building foundations such as embankments, highways and railroads. Soil improvement is a type of soil stability that is useful as soil improvement and performance required by technical requirements. In an effort to increase the carrying capacity of the soil, several methods can be used, such as: soil improvement using Replecement Soil, PVD Method, Preloading, Micropile, Geotextiles, etc. In this study, the geotextile method was used as an alternative reinforcement to find a larger and better safety number (SF) for soil conditions adjacent to (Groundwater Table), and can be the most effective alternative soil improvement method. Based on the analysis of the data, it was concluded that the total load (q) is 31 layers of non-woven which is 2 layers, with a length of geotextile (L) of 1.825 m. The safety factor geotextile method non-woven = 2.4.

Abstract

Roads include land transportation facilities that are widely used for Indonesians in traveling near or far. The growth of globalization can also have an influence on the level of mobility which has an impact on vehicle users and continues to increase. This causes the volume load of vehicles to exceed the limits of the designed road class, so that the quality and age of the pavement will continue to decrease. This research was conducted to analyze the condition of road pavement damage to damage to the Jl. Raya Papar – Jl. Raya Minggir with a length of 3 km. The method used for this research is PCI (Pavement Condition Index) with the aim of finding values ​​based on the type, level and extent of damage to the method used and the selection of alternative treatments as a reference and road maintenance effort. The results of the research on the Jl. Raya Papar – Jl. Raya Minggiran STA 0+000 – 3+000 based on the PCI method obtains a total value of 47.6% Moderate (Fair) with the highest PCI value percentage of road conditions being 55% in Moderate road conditions (Fair), 25% in Bad road conditions (Poor), 8.3% on Good (Good) and Very Good (Very Good) road conditions, 3.4% on Very Bad (Very Poor) road conditions with alternative handling is periodic maintenance updates. Abstract

In the field of geotechnical engineering, one of the most common causes of landslides is an increase in shear stress in the soil or a decrease in the shear strength of the soil mass so that it cannot withstand the applied load. Analysis of the slopes of Bozem Kalidami Surabaya was carried out to determine the safety figures for slopes reinforced with sheet pile retaining walls based on data obtained from boring tests. The sheet pile used is CCSP Type W-600 class B 19 meters long. Analysis of safety figures is carried out in two ways, namely manual calculation using the Fellinius method and the Plaxis v.8.2 program which aims to compare the results. Analyzed using manual calculations using the Fellenius method, the security value was 1.634. Meanwhile, for the results of the Plaxis v.8.2 program, the security value was 1.891. Because the calculation results obtained from both methods are >1.5, it can be concluded that the stability of the Bozem Kalidami Surabaya slope with CCSP Type W-600 class B reinforcement with a length of 19 meters is safety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dan kualitas pelayanan parkir di Pasar Ikan Hias Gunungsari Surabaya menggunakan metode IPA (Importance Performance Analysis). Penelitian dilakukan pada periode Senin, 13 November 2023 hingga Minggu, 19 November 2023, dari pukul 15.00 hingga pukul 21.00 WIB. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa akumulasi parkir maksimum terjadi pada hari Sabtu, 18 November 2023, dengan durasi parkir rata-rata 37 menit. Tingkat kepuasan pelanggan terhadap pelayanan parkir perlu ditingkatkan dengan memperbaiki sistem parkir dan meningkatkan sikap ramah petugas parkir. Analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan ruang parkir di Pasar Ikan Hias Gunung Sari melebihi kapasitas yang tersedia, terutama pada hari Rabu, 15 November 2023, menunjukkan kebutuhan akan lahan parkir yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai respon terhadap keluhan yang intens di media sosial terkait beberapa isu krusial, seperti berkurangnya kapasitas penumpang, kenyamanan kursi yang kurang memadai, dan tingkat kebisingan yang mengganggu.Analisis kinerja layanan komuter Arjonegoro relasi stasiun Surabaya Pasar Turi - Babat perlu diketahui untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan yang diberikan karena kereta ini tergolong relasi baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), data diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden. Dari penelitian ini didapat nilai kepuasan rata – rata tingkat kinerja layanan dan tingkat kepentingan sebesar 85,69% dan untuk prioritas layanan yang perlu ditingkatkan kereta Komuter Arjonegoro relasi stasiun Surabaya Pasar Turi – Babat antara lain tempat duduk nyaman, penyejuk udara, rak bagasi, dan fasilitas pegangan tangan penumpang berdiri.

Abstract

Kerusakan jalan dapat disebabkan oleh perencanaan yang buruk, pemilihan bahan yang kurang tepat, mutu pelaksanaan yang tidak memenuhi standar, serta kondisi lingkungan. Penelitian kerusakan jalan yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Surface Distress Indeks (SDI), pada ruas Jalan Mayjen Bambang Yuwono, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, yang menghubungkan Kabupaten Sidoarjo dan Kabupaten Mojokerto, yang memiliki jalan sepanjang 10 KM. Metode ini menilai kerusakan secara visual dengan data parameter luas total keretakan, lebar rata – rata keretakan, jumlah lubang dan kedalaman bekas roda kendaraan atau alur. Hasil pengamatan visual di lapangan ditemukan bahwa 23,54% dari kerusakan jalan berupa retak kulit buaya, 18,23% berupa retak memanjang, dan 23,30% berupa lubang. Mayoritas segmen jalan (sebagian besar di antaranya) memiliki kondisi baik (70%), dengan sedikit atau tanpa kerusakan yang signifikan. Namun, terdapat beberapa segmen yang memiliki kondisi sedang (30%), yang mungkin memerlukan perhatian lebih dalam hal perawatan dan pemeliharaan, dan terdapat segmen yang memiliki kondisi rusak ringan (3%), yang memerlukan penanganan rehabilitasi jalan.
