Abstract

There are 3 main impacts in using the BI 7-Day (Reverse) Repo Rate instrument as the new policy interest rate, one of which is increasing the effectiveness of monetary policy transmission through its influence on movements in money market interest rates and banking interest rates. Interest rates will affect the level of savings in society. How effective was this interest rate during the pre-pandemic and post-Covid-19 pandemic periods in influencing people's savings levels? The movement of the savings rate is interesting to observe because this variable will experience quite elastic movements when there is the influence of other macroeconomic variables such as inflation and exchange rates. This research aims to measure the impact of movements in the BI rate, inflation and exchange rate on public savings at commercial banks in Indonesia in 2018-2021. This research uses mixed methods. Mixed method is a research method that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research uses an Explanatory Sequential design, starting with data collection and analyzing quantitative (numerical) data in stage 1 and continuing with collecting and analyzing qualitative data (text) in stage 2 which is built based on the results or findings in stage 1 (Creswell and Clark, 2018). This design aims to provide a deeper explanation based on the results or findings in quantitative research, where the quantitative research uses the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The variables used in this research are BI Rate, Inflation, Exchange Rate and Community Savings in commercial banks. The time period analyzed is from 2017-2020. The results of this research prove that the variables that had a significant influence on people's savings levels in the period before the Covid-19 pandemic were inflation and the exchange rate, while the BI rate had no significant influence. In the post-pandemic period, it is proven that the variables that have a significant influence on people's savings levels are the BI rate and inflation, while the exchange rate variable has no significant influence.

Abstract

This research discusses online marketing management through the application of digital advertising. With the rapid development of technology and increasing use of the internet, traditional marketing methods are increasingly shifting towards digital marketing. Digital marketing offers various advantages, such as the ability to reach a wider audience, more precise targeting, and more efficient costs. This research aims to identify effective strategies in online marketing and evaluate the impact of digital advertising on consumer behavior. The development of the internet is changing the way of doing business, including in the retail business where the business model utilizes digital services in the transaction process which is known as e-commerce. This research aims to examine how in online marketing to implement online advertising and realize consumer buying interest. This research also uses a descriptive survey method using a verification approach. The population in this research is Lazada consumers in the city of Bandung, with a sample of 96 customers. The findings show that the implementation of online advertising has a direct impact on purchasing interest on the Lazada site. This research concludes that online marketing management through the implementation of digital advertising is a crucial component in modern business strategy. Companies that adopt this approach well can gain a significant competitive advantage in an increasingly digitally connected marketplace.

Abstract

Isu pengangguran merupakan salah satu permasalahan sosial yang terus menjadi fokus perhatian diberbagai Negara, termasuk di Indonesia berdasarkan data yang diperoleh oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Jumlah individu yang mengalami pengangguran di indonesia mengalami penurunan tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2019. Pada bulan Agustus 2019 turun menjadi 5,28%, pada bulan Agustus 2020 sebesar 7,07% meningkat 1,84% poin, pengangguran pada bulan Februari 2021 sebesar 6,26%, turun 0,81% poin, pada bulan Agustus 2022 mencapai 8,4 juta orang atau sekitar 6%. Penelitian kualitatif akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang peran pemerintah menanggulangi kemiskinan melalui Program Rumah Padat Karya. Kota Surabaya dipilih menjadi tempat penelitian karena keberhasilan Program Rumah Padat Karya. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah pemerintah kota Surabaya, lembaga terkait serta masyarakat yang terlibat dalam Program Rumah Padat Karya. Subjek penelitian juga mencakup data terkait tingkat kemiskinan di Surabaya sejak penerapan program tersebut. Data yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini diambil dari studi kasus terdahulu dan observasi.
