Paul was the most successful and greatest missionary in the history of Christianity, his evangelistic ministry covered a wide area, so Paul met various multicultural community groups in the first century. This study aims to study the methods of the apostle Paul's evangelism in the perspective of 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23 on the multicultural society of the first century and its implications for contemporary evangelism in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a hermeneutic and literature study approach. Through this research, the writer tries to answer research problems by looking for literature sources that are correlated and relevant to the research problem. Thematic and exegetical approaches are used to describe the theological-historical foundation of the Apostle Paul's method of evangelism in the perspective of 1 Corinthians 9: 19-2, then describe the implications for contemporary evangelism in Indonesia. The result of this research is that the contextual evangelism method "be the same as" Paul used in the multicultural society of the first century is very relevant to be applied in evangelism today in Indonesia. Indonesia is a multicultural country, so a cross-cultural contextual evangelism approach is very appropriate to do to reach Unreached People Groups, which are still widely available in Indonesia. This needs to be done in order to carry out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 28: 18-20, so that all ethnic groups hear the gospel of salvation and become disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.AbstractPaulus merupakan misionaris tersukses dan terbesar dalam sejarah Kekristenan, pelayanan penginjilannya meliputi wilayah yang luas, sehingga Paulus bertemu dengan berbagai kelompok masyarakat multikultural abad pertama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian metode penginjilan rasul Paulus dalam perspektif 1 Korintus 9:19-23 terhadap masyarakat multikultural abad pertama dan implikasinya terhadap penginjilan masa kini di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literature dan hermeneutik. Melalui penelitian ini penulis berusaha menjawab permasalahan penelitian dengan mencari sumber-sumber literatur yang berkorelasi dan relevan dengan masalah penelitian. Pendekatan tematis dan eksegesis digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan landasan teologis-historis metode penginjilan Rasul Paulus dalam perspektif 1 Korintus 9:19-2, selanjutnya mendeskripsikan implikasinya terhadap penginjilan masa kini di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode penginjilan kontekstual “menjadi sama seperti” yang digunakan Paulus pada masyarakat multikultural abad pertama sangat relevan untuk diterapkan dalam penginjilan pada masa kini di Indonesia. Indonesia merupakan negara multikultural, sehingga pendekatan penginjilan kontekstual lintas budaya sangat tepat dilakukan untuk menjangkau Unreached People Group yang masih banyak terdapat di Indonesia. Hal ini perlu dilakukan dalam rangka menjalankan Amanat Agung Tuhan Yesus dalam Matius 28:18-20, agar semua suku bangsa (etnis) mendengar Injil keselamatan dan menjadi murid Tuhan Yesus Kristus.

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused suffering not only in the health sector but also in the economic sector. Christians are also not spared from this economic suffering. The purpose of this article is to find out how Christians should respond amid the economic suffering caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research used a qualitative method and based on library research to find out the response of Christians amid economic suffering in Acts 11:27-30 and to confirm the implications for Christians today in responding to the economic suffering caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The conclusion drawn from this study is that Christians should have faith in God who sustains their lives during the pandemic and take actions that are in line with their faith. The prosperous Christians should be willing and ready in blessing the other Christians who are suffering more. Likewise, Christians who are in economic decline respond by trusting in God's providence and humbly receiving God's blessings through the gifts of brothers and sisters who love them. Christians need to with the government in dealing with this economic suffering until the COVID-19 pandemic ends.

Amid the swift currents of globalization triggered by the explosion of the information technology revolution, conflicts often occur on issues of discrimination on race, class, and religion. Religions face challenges in resolving controversies and violent behavior and maintaining harmony between religious communities. Christian Religious Education educators need to teach their students positive responses to plurality and pluralism in Indonesia. The most important thing is the impact on students. Research using descriptive qualitative research methods concludes: first, there is a need to increase pluralism in the frame of a pluralistic society and an era of disruption. Second, believers, in this case, Christian Religious Education teachers and students, should understand pluralism from a biblical point of view. Third, Christian Religious Education teachers and students are responsible for actualizing an attitude of tolerance towards a pluralistic society both in society in everyday life and in behavior in cyberspace communities based on a biblical understanding of pluralism. Fourth, Christian Religious Education teachers act as students' guides and counselors to develop an attitude of state life and socialize in a pluralistic society in building togetherness without any form of identity politics.

Advances in technological innovation and various changes that occur cause an era of disruption that cannot be avoided. This disruption needs to be addressed in an adaptive manner so that it can be utilized for the advancement of Christian discipleship ministry as the pattern in 2 Timothy 2:2. The role of the Shepherd is very significant here, which requires good management skills. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and hermeneutic-exegesis methods, this paper aims to answer the research question, namely what and how is the role of the shepherd in the management of Christian discipleship patterns in 2 Timothy 2:2 in the era of disruption. This study concludes that a shepherd must play a role and function as a catalyst in discipleship services, which also has implications for the need for humanistic integrity to utilize technology-digitalization in the era of disruption for discipleship services through a benefit principle approach in order to be able to face and adapt to the era of disruption. As a catalyst, the shepherd plays a role in selecting and involving faithful believers, as well as the Church as an organization in the ministry of discipleship. the shepherd plays a role in managing discipleship services like the pattern in 2 Timothy 2:2 well through systematic efforts in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling or systematically planning, implementing, controlling, and following up by analyzing the composition of skills , the strengths and personality of each member of the service team, conduct periodic evaluations individually and in teams, and perform synergies between human resources and non-human resources as ministry support so that the vision and goals of Christian discipleship are in the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20) can be achieved.AbstrakKemajuan inovasi teknologi dan berbagai perubahan yang terjadi menyebabkan terjadinya era disrupsi yang tidak dapat dihindari. Disrupsi ini perlu disikapi dengan adaptif agar dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kemajuan pelayanan pemuridan Kristen seperti pola dalam 2 Timotius 2:2. Peran gembala sangat signifikan disini, yang menuntut kemampuan manajemen yang baik. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literature dan hermeneutik-eksegesis, paper ini bertujuan menjawab pertanyaan penelitian yaitu apa dan bagaimana peran gembala terhadap manajemen pola pemuridan Kristen dalam 2 Timotius 2:2 di era disrupsi. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa seorang gembala harus berperan dan berfungsi sebagai katalisator dalam pelayanan pemuridan, yang juga berimplikasi pada dibutuhkannya integritas yang humanistik untuk memanfaatkan teknologi-digitalisasi di era disrupsi bagi pelayanan pemuridan melalui pendekatan azas manfaat agar mampu menghadapi dan beradaptasi dengan era disrupsi. Sebagai katalisator, gembala berperan memilih dan melibatkan orang-orang percaya yang setia, juga Gereja sebagai organisasi dalam pelayanan pemuridan. gembala berperan melakukan manajemen pelayanan pemuridan seperti pola dalam 2 Timotius 2:2 dengan baik melalui upaya yang sistematis dalam membuat perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, pengkoordinasian, dan pengendalian atau secara sistematis membuat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, kontrol, dan tindak lanjut dengan melakukan analisis komposisi skill, kelebihan dan kepribadian masing-masing anggota tim pelayanan, melakukan evaluasi berkala secara individu dan tim, dan melakukan integrasi-sinergitas antara sumber daya manusia dan sumber daya non manusia sebagai penunjang pelayanan agar visi dan tujuan pemuridan Kristen dalam Amanat Agung Tuhan Yesus (Mat. 28:18-20) dapat tercapai.

Intolerant attitudes and actions that result in horizontal conflicts are inevitable in the life of a pluralistic nation like Indonesia. They hinder, however, the development of the nation's integrity protected and fought for decades by its founding fathers. Through this paper, Indonesian Christians are expected to be aware of the importance of their nation's integrity and of them living in harmony, which will bring peace. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. It concluded that a correct understanding of the nature of tolerance within the framework of the Christian faith is necessary to contribute to building national unity. The tolerance possessed by Christians will maximize their role in contributing to practical building of national unity in daily life, such as in carrying out activities that emphasize coexistence and mutual respect as the realization of obedience to God's word. Christians also need to participate in inter-religious dialogue to find solutions to the problem of disintegration. Thus, the role of Christians in building national unity and integrity through tolerance has an impact on the harmony, security, and sustainability of the state.

Abstract: The digital generation, particularly Millennials and Gen Z, faces an identity crisis driven by the influence of digital culture, moral relativism, and a lack of strong spiritual foundations. This crisis results in weakened Christian values in daily life, posing challenges in forming a steadfast identity amid globalization. This study explores how biblical discipleship shapes a strong Christian identity and equips the digital generation to face modern cultural challenges. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review, this research analyzes the concept of biblical discipleship and its relevance in shaping spirituality and strengthening the faith resilience of the digital generation. The findings indicate that biblical discipleship, rooted in the teachings and example of Christ, fosters confidence, reinforces identity as children of God, and develops Christian character. Relevant discipleship strategies for the digital era, including the use of digital technology and contextual approaches, are necessary to enhance the effectiveness of church ministry. Furthermore, digital literacy and creative content in communicating the Gospel to young generations play a crucial role in strengthening Christian identity. Abstrak: Generasi digital, terutama Millennials dan Gen Z, menghadapi tantangan berupa krisis identitas yang dipicu oleh pengaruh budaya digital, relativisme moral, dan minimnya fondasi spiritual yang kuat. Krisis ini berakibat pada lemahnya nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga memunculkan tantangan dalam membentuk identitas yang teguh di tengah arus globalisasi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana pemuridan berdasarkan Alkitab membentuk identitas Kristiani yang kuat dan membekali generasi digital menghadapi tantangan budaya modern. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis konsep pemuridan Alkitabiah dan relevansinya dalam membentuk spiritualitas serta ketahanan iman generasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemuridan alkitabiah, yang didasarkan pada ajaran dan teladan Kristus, menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri, memperkuat identitas sebagai anak-anak Allah, dan mengembangkan karakter Kristen. Strategi pemuridan yang relevan untuk era digital, termasuk penggunaan teknologi digital dan pendekatan kontekstual, diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan gereja. Lebih lanjut, literasi digital dan konten kreatif dalam mengkomunikasikan Injil kepada generasi muda berperan penting dalam memperkuat identitas Kristiani.

: Young families are a strategic element in supporting the sustainability of church ministry. However, various challenges such as economic pressure, busy work, and limited relevant church programmes often hinder their active involvement. Pengharapan Baptist Church Manado faces similar challenges, where the presence of young families as drivers of ministry is not optimal. This research aims to identify strategies that the church can use in building the commitment of young families to serve on an ongoing basis. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach to describe which aims to describe and explain certain phenomena, situations, or problems based on existing data and information in scientific literature, articles, and other documents. Based on this research, the author draws the conclusion that effective strategies include, among others: strengthening the teaching of God's word, building close fellowship, diaconal service, effective leadership of the pastor and the adaptation of services in the digital era. This research is based on a case study at Pengharapan Baptist Church Manado and is also specifically designed to answer the needs of young families at Pengharapan Baptist Church Manado. This research is expected to make a significant contribution in supporting a relevant and sustainable ministry strategy, as well as a basis for further research related to evaluating the implementation of this strategy.AbstrakKeluarga muda merupakan elemen strategis dalam mendukung keberlanjutan pelayanan gereja. Namun, berbagai tantangan seperti tekanan ekonomi, kesibukan pekerjaan, dan keterbatasan program gereja yang relevan seringkali menghambat keterlibatan mereka secara aktif. Gereja Baptis Pengharapan Manado menghadapi tantangan serupa, dimana keberadaan keluarga muda sebagai penggerak pelayanan belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang dapat digunakan gereja dalam membangun komitmen keluarga muda untuk melayani secara berkesinambungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur untuk mendeskripsikan yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan fenomena, situasi, atau masalah tertentu berdasarkan data dan informasi yang telah ada dalam literatur ilmiah, artikel, dan dokumen lainnya. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, penulis menarik kesimpulan bahwa strategi yang efektif meliputi antara lain: penguatan pengajaran firman Tuhan, membangun persekutuan yang erat, pelayanan diakonia, kepemimpinan gembala sidang yang efektif dan adanya adaptasi pelayanan di era digital. Penelitian ini dibuat didasarkan atas studi kasus pada Gereja Baptis Pengharapan Manado dan juga dirancang khusus untuk menjawab kebutuhan keluarga muda di Gereja Baptis Pengharapan Manado. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung strategi pelayanan yang relevan dan berkelanjutan, sekaligus menjadi dasar untuk penelitian lanjutan terkait evaluasi implementasi strategi ini.

This journal article explores the concept of relational discipleship as a vital approach for empowering the younger generation to navigate the challenges posed by the era of disruption. Characterized by rapid technological advancements and significant shifts in social dynamics, this era presents numerous obstacles, including moral decline, identity crises, and negative behaviors linked to excessive technology use. The article emphasizes the importance of relational discipleship, which fosters intimate relationships between leaders and youth, facilitating spiritual growth and resilience. By implementing practical strategies such as modeling behavior, encouraging open dialogue, and involving youth in ministry leaders can effectively guide young individuals toward spiritual maturity and adherence to the truths of God's Word. Ultimately, relational discipleship emerges as a crucial means for equipping the younger generation to face the complexities of contemporary life with wisdom and grace, enabling them to embody the values of faith and integrity in a disruptive world.

Abstrak: Keluarga merupakan dasar dan tempat utama pemuridan Kristen untuk mewujudkan pertumbuhan rohani anak-anak Kristen agar siap menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di era disrupsi seperti saat ini. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literature. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian tentang bagaimana implementasi pemuridan Kristen di dalam keluarga di era disrupsi saat ini. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bawah pemuridan Kristen dalam keluarga di era disrupsi merupakan hal yang esensial dan krusial. Orang tua berperan penting melakukan pemuridan Kristen dalam keluarga untuk mendidik dan mengarahkan anak-anak Kristen menjadi generasi yang konsisten dan bertumbuh dalam iman kepada Tuhan dan menjadi murid Kristus yang sejati. Menjadi dewasa dalam kepribadian, kerohanian dan moralitas sehingga tidak mudah terjerumus ke dalam aspek negative dari perkembangan teknologi informasi digital saat ini. Dibutuhkan komitmen dan konsistensi dalam implementasi pemuridan Kristen dalam keluarga di era disrupsi untuk menghindari distraksi atau disrupsi dari berbagai informasi media digital yang ada, sebaliknya harus menyediakan waktu yang khusus untuk melakukan pemuridan dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan digitalisasi teknologi informasi di era disrupsi secara positif. Salah satunya melakukan pemuridan keluarga secara virtual. Dengan demikian pemuridan Kristen dalam keluarga tetap dapat dilakukan walaupun orang tua dan anak terpisah jarak dan tempat.Abstract: The family is the basis and the main place for Christian discipleship to realize the spiritual growth of Christian children so that they are ready to face the challenges of life in this era of disruption. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method. This study aims to answer research questions about how to implement Christian discipleship in families in the current era of disruption. The results of this study conclude that Christian discipleship in families in the era of disruption is essential and crucial. Parents play an important role in carrying out Christian discipleship in the family to educate and direct Christian children to become a generation that is consistent and grows the faith in God and becomes the true disciples of Christ. Become mature in personality, spirituality and morality so that it is not easy to fall into the negative aspects of the development of digital information technology today. It takes commitment and consistency in the implementation of Christian discipleship in families in the era of disruption to avoid distraction or disruption from various existing digital media information, on the contrary, must provide special time for discipleship by utilizing the development of digitalization of information technology in the era of disruption in a positive way. One of them is doing virtual family discipleship. Thus, Christian discipleship in the family can still be done even though parents and children are separated by distance and place.
