Abstract

Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul dimana masih banyak siswa/siswi yang tidak masuk perguruan tinggi negeri. Hipotesa dalam penelitian ini yakni: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri sekecamatan Doloksanggul; 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif motivasi kerja guru dengan mutu pendidikan di SMA Negeri se-kecamatan Doloksanggul; 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-kecamatan Doloksannggul. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan statistik deskriptif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri seKecamatan Doloksanggul dengan populasi sebanyak 97 orang guru yang juga merupakan sampel dari penelitian. Dari hasil analisis data yaitu: a) uji hipotesa X1 dengan Y secara parsial diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0,944 > dari rtabel sebesar 0,1996 sehingga H01 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat kuat komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; b) uji hipotesis X2 terhadap Y secara parsial diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0,840 > dari rtabel sebesar 0,1996 sehingga H02 ditolak dan Ha2 diterima yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat kuat motivasi kerja guru dengan variabel mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Doloksanggul; c) uji hipotesis X1 dan X2 secara simultan dengan Y diperoleh rhitung sebesar 0.979 > dari rtabel sebesar 0,1996 artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat kuat komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara simultan dengan mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri seKecamatan Doloksanggul.

Abstract

Christian religious education in Indonesia must integrate the concept of ecophilia (love for the environment) to overcome the increasingly severe environmental crisis. This research aims to develop strategies for implementing ecophilia in Christian education and evaluating its impact on student attitudes and behavior, as well as collaboration throughout the school community in environmentally friendly practices. Using a qualitative approach with thematic analysis, this research found that integrating ecophilia in the curriculum and school activities increased ecological awareness and the formation of students' character who care about the en-vironment. Through active participation in environmental programs, the school community becomes an effective agent of change, reflecting faith manifested in concrete actions. The results of this research provide a concrete framework for integrating ecological responsibility into daily spi-rituality in Christian religious education, creating an ecologically and spiritually responsible generation. Through this approach, Christian schools can become a model for other communities in implementing ecophilia and strengthening daily spirituality through concrete actions that reflect love and concern for the environment.   Abstrak Pendidikan agama Kristen di Indonesia harus mengintegrasikan konsep ecophilia (cinta kasih terhadap alam) untuk mengatasi krisis lingkungan yang semakin parah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembang-kan strategi implementasi ecophilia dalam pendidikan kristiani dan meng-evaluasi dampaknya terhadap sikap dan perilaku siswa, serta kolaborasi seluruh komunitas sekolah dalam praktik ramah lingkungan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis tematik, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa integrasi ecophilia dalam kurikulum dan aktivitas sekolah menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran ekologis dan pembentukan karakter siswa yang peduli lingkungan. Komunitas sekolah, melalui par-tisipasi aktif dalam program lingkungan, menjadi agen perubahan yang efektif, mencerminkan iman yang terwujud dalam tindakan nyata. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kerangka kerja konkret untuk mengintegrasi-kan tanggung jawab ekologis ke dalam spiritualitas keseharian dalam pen-didikan agama Kristen, menciptakan generasi yang bertanggung jawab secara ekologis dan spiritual. Melalui pendekatan ini, sekolah Kristen dapat menjadi model bagi komunitas lainnya dalam menerapkan ecophilia dan memperkuat spiritualitas sehari-hari melalui tindakan nyata yang mencerminkan kasih dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Learning in religious counseling education is still dominated by conventional approaches that are monological, normative, and lack critical reflection, thus having an impact on the low cognitive and affective involvement of participants. This study aims to explore and analyze the potential of the SER (Spirituality-Education-Reflection) approach as an integrative model in optimizing the learning process in religious counseling education programs. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach, analyzing 60 scientific sources published in the 2015–2025 period and relevant to the themes of religious education, critical pedagogy, reflection, and social transformation. The results of the study show that the SER approach is able to present a participatory, contextual, and transformative learning process. The spirituality component forms the basis of values, education directs an experiential dialogical process, and critical reflection bridges awareness between values and actions. These three elements form praxis as a conscious action that has an impact on personal and social change. In conclusion, the implementation of SER requires curriculum support, extension training, holistic evaluation, and contextual and participatory institutional policies. The implications of this research include strengthening the capacity of religious extension workers, curriculum design reform, and cross-sector collaboration in the sustainable implementation of SER. Further research can be directed to the implementation test of the SER model in various religious education contexts as well as the development of evaluation instruments based on spiritual and social reflection.

Abstract

The problem of education quality is currently also being faced by schools in Medan City, especially private high schools. The issue of education must be of great concern because through educational institutions quality human resources can be created. The quality of human resources plays a major role in determining the success of activities in various physical and non-physical development sectors. In this research, the method used is a survey, while the type of research is correlational research. The survey method is used to obtain data from certain natural places, but researchers carry out treatments in collecting data, for example by distributing questionnaires, tests, structured interviews and so on. The survey was conducted on teachers at the Medan Bodhicitta Buddhist High School. This research technique was carried out to analyze the influence of two independent variables, namely the principal's leadership (X_1), work ethic (X_2), on one dependent variable, namely teacher performance (Y). There is no significant influence of the principal's leadership and teacher work ethic on teacher performance at Bodhicitta Buddhist High School. It can be seen that the value of F_count < F_table (3.008 < 3.340) with a significance level of 0.066 is greater than 0.05. There is no significant influence between the principal's leadership on teacher performance at Bodhicitta Buddhist High School. This can be seen from the t test between the principal's leadership and teacher performance, the calculation results show t_count < t_table, namely 1.951 < 2.048 at a significance level of 0.061 and N = 31. There is a significant influence of teacher work ethic on teacher performance at Bodhicitta Buddhist High School. This can be seen from the t test between teacher work ethic and teacher performance, the calculation results show t_count > t_table, namely 2.347 > 2.048 at a significance level of 0.026 and N = 31.
