Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of human resource management in the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports in the City of Bima. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. This research is located at the City of Bima's Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office; this location is very strategic in viewing case studies and problems. The subjects of this study were selected through a nonprobability sampling technique, using a purposive sampling technique or a sampling technique by considering specific aspects. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that tourism activities have become a form of the service industry in the city of Bima. The reason for the importance of human resources in tourism management is that tourism activities cannot be carried out only by one person but must be carried out jointly by a group of people. In this case, the HR factor becomes a very crucial factor. Human resource management is critical, mainly so a company, agency, or organization can implement proper management to support quality. Placement of employee positions must also be based on educational background and academic qualifications in the field of work. Lack of human resource capacity with appropriate educational experience can be overcome by providing employee competency development programs, such as training, workshops, or academic capacity-building scholarships.

Abstract

In the midst of a pluralistic community life as problems occur that require legal resolution, so that the settlement has certainty. The complexity of legal issues becomes very dilemmatic. Even the law lags far behind when compared to the current incidence of crimes and offenses. However, amid the complexity of violations and crimes today, the law must provide legal certainty and a sense of security in society. One of the violations that concerns violations of technical requirements and roadworthiness is the use of exhaust racing / not stanfdar which directly shows an attitude of not having traffic ethics, where the use of "exhaust racing" violates Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Transport Traffic.  By conducting raids on the control of two-wheeled motorized vehicles with noise, it is hoped that there will be legal awareness of the public to return to using standard knalopt so that it can reduce pollution that arises and can realize the comfort of fellow road users.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the concrete impact of work transformation triggered by information technology on Generation Y in the current industrial environment. This study will employ a quantitative approach with quantitative methods to collect data. The research population consists of Generation Y employees in both private and government institutions exposed to the use of information technology in their work context. Sampling will be randomly conducted on a number of Generation Y employees representing various work units in several manufacturing companies and government agencies in the West Nusa Tenggara Province. This study uses a survey instrument developed based on existing theoretical frameworks and relevant literature. Descriptive statistical analysis will be used to provide an overview of the respondents' profiles and main patterns in the data. The collected data will be processed and analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 26. Linear regression analysis and descriptive statistical analysis will be employed to explain the relationship between technology adaptation variables and work engagement, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Simultaneous analysis results indicate that the four variables, namely Information Technology Adaptation (X1), Price and Organizational Commitment (X2), Organizational Support (X3), and Work Engagement (X4), collectively have a significant influence on Turnover Intention (Y). In this regard, the findings suggest that to reduce the tendency of job turnover intention, organizations need to simultaneously pay attention to and enhance these factors. Efforts to improve the level of technology adaptation, price and organizational commitment, organizational support, and employee work engagement can help reduce the level of turnover intention. Turnover intention is not only influenced by one factor but is the result of various interrelated factors. Managing technology adaptation, organizational commitment, organizational support, and work engagement is crucial in minimizing the tendency to intend to leave the job.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial Skills Education is an important program to improve entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, especially in the face of increasingly fierce economic competition. This program is designed to provide knowledge and skills and form an entrepreneurial attitude in participants, with the main goal of creating new business opportunities and improving community welfare. One of the PKW implementations was carried out at PKBM Arrahman in Talabiu Village, Woha District, Bima Regency, which focused on sewing skills training. This training aims to empower women by providing practical skills in sewing, which can be used to open an independent business or increase job opportunities. The training activities, which take place from August to October 2024, involve various learning methods including lectures, socialization, and practical training. With an approach that includes business opportunity identification, entrepreneurial learning, and business mentoring, this training equips participants with technical knowledge of design, material selection, cutting techniques, and fashion finishing. The results of the training showed an improvement in the sewing skills of the participants, which can now produce better quality products and reduce dependence on outside services. This training also has a significant impact in reducing unemployment in Talabiu Village, increasing community enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, and encouraging the opening of new businesses. However, for long-term success, it is important for participants to be more disciplined in financial records and pay attention to managerial aspects. Overall, this training not only improves technical skills but also has a positive economic impact on society, with the potential to operate optimally and sustainably in the future.
