Abstract

The purpose of this research is, to know the influence of the tolerance values of teaching influence in improving social skill of junior high school’s students. Subject choice is done based on the score of social skill term to 143 students. As the subject of research is student who has < 111, and it is found 28 subject matters, and then from 28 subject concerned, it is divided into two groups, those are experiment’s group and controlled one, in random by considering equality if the subject between controlled and experiments groups. The result of data analysis of controlled and experiments groups with the t-test (sample paired t-test) it is known 2,490 with significant 0,027, it is mean there are differences of score improvement in social skill between controlled and experiences groups. It can be said that the instruction of effective tolerance values will result no difference, therefore it can be said that the effectivity of treatment will be fixed. The conclusion which will be found from this research is the teaching values of effective tolerance can be improving social skill of students.Keywords: social skill, tolerance, values

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini: untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan intra personal, kemampuan inter personal dan kemampuan akademis siswa SMP melalui pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransi. Pemilihan subyek dilakukan berdasarkan skor skala keterampilan sosial terhadap 143 siswa. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa yang memiliki 111, dan diperoleh 28 subyek, selanjutnya dari 28 subyek terebut dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yang dibagi secara random dengan mempertimbangkan kesetaraan subyek antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen setelah di Uji-t ditemukan nilai t= 2,490, dengan signifikansi 0,027, berarti ada perbedaan peningkatan skor ketrampilan sosial antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran nilai – nilai toleransi efektif meningkatkan kemampuan intra personal, kemampuan inter personal dan kemampuan akademis siswa. Selanjutnya berdasar analisa Uji-t antara skor post-test dan follow-up pada kelas eksperimen ditemukan bahwa t= -1,758 dengan signifikansi = 0,102 berarti tidak ada perbedaan, dengan demikian bahwa efek perlakuan bersifat tetap. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemampuan intra personal, kemampuan inter personal dan kemampuan akademis siswa SMP dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransiImprove Students Social Skills Through Learning Tolerance Values. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII A SMP Negeri 12 Kota Madiun yang disebabkan karena pada proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila masih berpusat pada guru yang masih mengikuti kebiasaan dengan urutan yang dimulai guru dengan langsung memaparkan materi, selanjutnya mengevaluasi siswa melalui latihan. Tujuan yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam materi Kebinekaan Indonesia dengan menerapkan metode Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 12 Kota Madiun. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang difokuskan tindakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam materi Kebinekaan Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 12 Kota Madiun. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan penulis dalam dua siklus menghasilkan terjadinya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari siklus I dan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 69.66 pada siklus I  78.66 . Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam materi Kebinekaan Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model through the jigsaw method on critical thinking skills and increasing student achievement in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Madiun City. The data used is primary data in the form of lesson plans; tests of critical thinking skills and increased student achievement. The population of this study were all students of class XI.2 as a class with the jigsaw cooperative learning model and X1.4 as the ordinary learning mode class, which totaled 60 students. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. Data analysis technique using independent sample t test. Data is processed using IBM SPSS Statistics v.18. The results showed that the cooperative learning model through the jigsaw method had an effect on critical thinking skills in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Madiun City, and the cooperative learning model through the jigsaw method had an effect on increasing student achievement in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Madiun City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman materi dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS melalui metode Team Games Turnamen di kelas 8b SMPN 6 Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) melalui model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart, yang direalisasikan melalui dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini 30 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan pengamatan langsung selama proses pembelajaran. Indikator keberhasilan yakni 75%. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keaktifan siswa. Keaktifan siswa pada pra-siklus mencapai 30%, siklus I meningkat hingga 53%, dan siklus II meningkat hingga 80%. Dari penelitian ini, menjelaskan hasil yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa direalisasikannya metode Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berhasil menciptakan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas 8B SMPN 6 Madiun.

Abstract

The literacy skills of elementary school students at SDN Sukosari are very low, this can be seen from the students' ability to read writing, which still uses the spelling of basic letters one by one combined. This condition is quite worrying considering that the school is located in the Madiun City area, because of this, efforts need to be made to overcome it so that students are not left behind in their pursuit of understanding knowledge. The aim of this research is to determine students' literacy levels and provide treatment through flashcard learning media. This research method uses classroom action research which includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection carried out through two cycles and in collaboration with school teachers. The results of the research show that flashcard learning media can improve the literacy skills of elementary school students because this media makes it easier for students to get to know the pictures on the cards more quickly, thereby strengthening their memory of the vocabulary, so flashcards as a tool to increase new vocabulary can be accelerate students' literacy skills.
