Abstract

The emergence of gadgets affects children's character if parents cannot manage their use. Therefore, activities are needed that accommodate children to continue to grow into good individuals. At the same time, in Ciamis Regency there is a community school called Sakola Motekar which carries out an ironwood week activity as an effort to instill character through playing while learning activities which are of course in accordance with efforts to instill character in children. In this activity we contributed as facilitators in the Ironwood Week activities. The methods used in this community service include observation, interviews, learning while playing. As a result of this activity which was carried out for 1 month with 4 meetings, we were able to create games that contain character education, such as: (1) Able to increase children's creativity, (2) Able to increase self-confidence and improve communication skills, (3) Increase empathy and build children's social life, as well as (4) Develop a sense of tolerance.

Abstract

Safe, nutritious, quality, diverse and adequately available food is one of the main prerequisite systems in forming a food system that protects health and improves people's welfare. Food security in Indonesia itself is still not implemented optimally and efficiently because the community is still not ready and has no efforts to implement food security for individuals and primary needs at home. Natural potential that can be used as a form of food security is Ganyong Tuber. This tuber can be processed into flour that has a texture like wheat but low in gluten so it is easily digested and very good for health. Because of these various advantages, canna flour can be used as an alternative to wheat flour. By integrating food processing in the climate village program, a close relationship can be created between food security, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development for the Palasari Community.

Abstract

Literasi Lingkungan adalah bentuk kesadaran, sikap, pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan khususnya dalam konteks lingkungan, pemahaman literasi lingkungan yang baik akan menentukan bagaimana kepedulian masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman literasi lingkungan pada anggota kelompok wanita tani (KWT) Roay Lestari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner/angket penelitian. Hasil  dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anggota kelompok wanita tani (KWT) Roay Lestari cukup paham terkait literasi lingkungan. Hasil ini dibuktikan dari perolehan persentase pemahaman dengan rata-rata sebesar 67,5% yang artinya berada pada kategori "Cukup Paham". Dapat dikatakan demikian, karena pemahaman anggota KWT Roay Lestari pada literasi lingkungan menunjukkan cukup paham pada pertanyaan-pertanyaan pengukuran tingkat pemahaman literasi lingkungan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yakni anggota KWT Roay Lestari telah memiliki pemahaman literasi ingkungan yang cukup.
