Abstract

The role of teachers in improving the quality of education include teaching, educating, mentoring and administering. The shortage of teachers in a school will certainly have an impact on the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the adequacy of school operational assistance in meeting the needs of teachers. This study uses a mixed method, the data used are primary and secondary data. Technical data collection using interviews and documentation. From the data obtained, it shows that the monthly payment of SD honoraria in the Telomoyo Cluster Getasan District is in accordance with the implementation guidelines (technical guidelines) and technical guidelines (technical guidelines), although the reality obtained by the average monthly salary received by the PTT GTT still cannot be said to be feasible. It is hoped that this research can provide input for policy makers to always consider the adequacy of BOS Funds in each school, especially in the monthly honorary financing component. The lack of PNS teachers and the number of non-permanent teachers influences the adequacy of school operational assistance, besides the existence of teachers influences the quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the formation of ethics in Vidya Dharma kindergarten in Semarang district. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The subjects of this research are administrators, kindergarten headmaster, teachers, and parents in the Vidya Dharma kindergarten. The techniques and the data collection used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data collection instruments usedare interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and camera or recording equipment. The ways to guarantee the validity of data obtainedare through continuous observation, triangulation, member check, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data obtained is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verifying. The results of this study include three things, namely: (1) The forms of ethics performed by children, namely cooperation, responsibility, patience, discipline, courtesy, willingness to share, hygiene care, and self-reliance; (2) How to cultivate the ethics done by teachers by the teachers example and instruction; (3) The impact of ethical formation of child ethics is able to implement cooperation, responsibility, patience, discipline, courtesy, willingness to share, hygiene care, and self-reliance in the home and community environment.

Abstract

The research on Parenting in Temper Tantrum Children at Vidya Dharma, Deplongan Kindergarten aims to describe parenting, the role of parents and other families, and the attitudes of parents in dealing with temper tantrum children. The observation was done by direct observation. Interviews were conducted in depth with informants, while documentation was done by photographing images that could be used as the research evidence. The validity of the data was measured by extended involvement, increased perseverance and persistence, triangulation, and member check. The data analysis related to parenting patterns in temper tantrum children used an analysis model from Miles and Huberman which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study include three findings, namely: (1) parenting in temper tantrum children in Vidya Dharma Kindergarten were in the forms of democracy, and coddle; (2) the role of parents and immediate family members in the process of caring for children temper tantrums included guiding, teaching, and councelling; (3) the attitude of parents in dealing with children who experienced temper tantrums were in the forms of giving opportunity, validating children's feelings, and problem solving .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the jātaka puppet learning media on the learning interest of Buddhist Dhamma Metta Kalisat Sunday school students. The type of research used is a type of research that uses a classroom action research design. Data collection in this study using observation, documentation, and interviews, guided by observation sheets and interviews. The subjects of this classroom action research are Dhamma Metta Kalisat Buddhist Sunday School students at the Kindergarten, Elementary, and Junior High School levels. The results of this study indicate that students' interest in learning during the use of jātaka puppet learning media has increased. It can be proven by the results that were carried out before the use of the jātaka puppet, that the student's interest was 16 points or 40%. After using the media, students' interest in learning in the pre-cycle was 24 points with a percentage of 60%, in cycle 1 they got 26 or in percentage form it was 65%, and in the second cycle it reached 35 points and a total percentage of 87.5%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of wayang jātaka learning media is effective in increasing students' interest in learning at the Buddhist Dhamma Metta Kalisat Sunday School.

Abstract

This exploration aims to describe the part of the preceptors in the character education literacy and character education literacy patterns in Vidya Dharma Buddhist Kindergarten. This exploration used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this exploration were the preceptors at Vidya Dharma Buddhist Kindergarten and the scholars' parents as fresh data. The data was collected through observation, interviews and attestation styles. The exploration data was tested again using the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this exploration showed the part of preceptors in the character education literacy, videlicet the preceptors' process in tutoring children to have a good character. Preceptors also explained and handed understanding to children about good lesson that had to be carried out, similar as tutoring children to line up before entering class, guiding children in literacy to write and coloring, training children to always supplicate before and after studying or eating, and tutoring children to always partake. to children and help each other. The character education literacy pattern in Vidya Dharma Buddhist Kindergarten was the way preceptors tutored and designed literacy. The preceptors tutored good effects, one of which is independence and good mores, similar as tutoring children to be creative by making windmills. piecemeal from that, the preceptors also tutored them to be suitable to distinguish between images. These literacy conditioning remained in agreement with the theme and relate to learning objects.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the meaning of the Puja Dance for SMB Dhamma Phala and STAB dancer Syailendra. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data obtained was tested by data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research obtained significant changes in the implementation of training. The changes that occurred were like previously not knowing the Puja Dance and understanding the meaning of the Puja Dance. The meaning contained in this Puja Dance depicts seven angels who are paying respect to the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha, respecting symbols in Buddhism, and increasing belief in Tiratana.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the involvement of parents in the learning of Buddhist students in the new normal era, to describe the learning model applied by parents, and to describe the appropriate learning model to be applied by parents. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study consisted of parents, Buddhist students, and teachers at SD Negeri Wates 01. The data collection techniques used by the researcher were interview, observation, and documentation tecniques according to the three instruments. Ways to ensure the validity of the data obtained were through continuous observation, triangulation, member check, credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The researcher analyzed the data obtained using the Miled & Huberman method. The results of this study include forms of parental involvement, namely accompanying children to study and checking the tasks that have been carried out during tutoring, paying attention and helping children while studying, asking children’s assignments, supervising and reminding children to learn. Meanwhile, the learning model applied by parents is the direct learning model, the questioning learning model, the inquiry learning model, and the discovery learning model. The appropriate learning model to be applied to parents is the learning model which has been applied plus the development of the nature of Mettā dan Karuņā so that the children’s learning process can be carried out in accordance with the Buddha’s teachings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the responsibility of parents in overcoming children's learning difficulties according to the general view and implied in the five Nikāyas. The research method used is the method of a literature study. The data collection is done by looking for data from various sources such as magazines, books, articles, and journals. After the data collection, next is the data processing. The data collected in this study were analyzed using a synthesize checklist analysis consisting of preliminary, follow-up and final syntheses, taking into account the elements of text, context and discourse. The results of this study are that the responsibility of parents in overcoming children's learning difficulties is not only by providing education. Parents are responsible as motivators, mentors, and facilitators. The active role of parents in overcoming children's learning difficulties will have an influence on children's learning outcomes. The form of parental responsibility in overcoming children's learning difficulties as implied in the Five Nikāyas is not only to support children with good facilities, but to overcome children's learning difficulties by educating, as an encouragement, support, and guide.
