Abstract

This exploration aims to describe the part of the preceptors in the character education literacy and character education literacy patterns in Vidya Dharma Buddhist Kindergarten. This exploration used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this exploration were the preceptors at Vidya Dharma Buddhist Kindergarten and the scholars' parents as fresh data. The data was collected through observation, interviews and attestation styles. The exploration data was tested again using the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this exploration showed the part of preceptors in the character education literacy, videlicet the preceptors' process in tutoring children to have a good character. Preceptors also explained and handed understanding to children about good lesson that had to be carried out, similar as tutoring children to line up before entering class, guiding children in literacy to write and coloring, training children to always supplicate before and after studying or eating, and tutoring children to always partake. to children and help each other. The character education literacy pattern in Vidya Dharma Buddhist Kindergarten was the way preceptors tutored and designed literacy. The preceptors tutored good effects, one of which is independence and good mores, similar as tutoring children to be creative by making windmills. piecemeal from that, the preceptors also tutored them to be suitable to distinguish between images. These literacy conditioning remained in agreement with the theme and relate to learning objects.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the meaning of the Puja Dance for SMB Dhamma Phala and STAB dancer Syailendra. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data obtained was tested by data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research obtained significant changes in the implementation of training. The changes that occurred were like previously not knowing the Puja Dance and understanding the meaning of the Puja Dance. The meaning contained in this Puja Dance depicts seven angels who are paying respect to the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha, respecting symbols in Buddhism, and increasing belief in Tiratana.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavioral conditions of Buddhist students, the effect of Buddhist moral education, and the impact of Buddhist moral education on behavioral changes of Buddhist students at SDN Sumogawe 03. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The research data are collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested by persistence, triangulating, and member checking. The Data analysis is based on the Miles & Huberman model which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results of this study show that the behavioral conditions of Buddhist students at SDN Sumogawe 03 are classified into two, namely good behavior and bad behavior. The effect of Buddhist moral education on Buddhist students at SDN Sumogawe 03 is the occurrence of changes in students’ behavior in accordance with the rules of morality in the Buddhist Pañcasīla. Students who initially behave badly, such as killing, lying, and stealing, are able to change their behavior for the better. Changes in students’ behavior have an impact on students themselves and others. The impact of the behavioral change on students is that students can gain peace, gain the trust of others, foster self-confidence, discipline, and self-reliance. The impact of changes in the students’ behavior on other people which is seed is that other living beings can live without fear, other creatures can live in peace, and other people can have confidence in the students.

Abstract

The purpose of study is to obtain an overview of Tunas Dharma Karawang High School Students’ self-management regarding studying. The research was conducted using decriptive qualitative method. Research data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested by diligent observation, triangulation, and member check. Data analysis is based on the Miles & Huberman model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, as well as verification. The results of this research indicate that self-management in the learning of Buddhist students at SMA Tunas Dharma Karawang at the learning planning stage of students determines goals and plans learning strategy activities to be carried out. According to Buddhists, this is included in the four inner strengths (iddhipada), namely interest and satisfaction in doing the work. something that is the main factor in students to achieve maximum desired results (chanda). A passionate effort to achieve success in learning (viriya). Carrying out efforts to achieve success diligently and tenaciously by not abandoning or postponing the efforts being undertaken (citta). In carrying out learning, students pay attention to the lesson material, for example summarizing the lesson material, marking important sentences, seeking help from teachers and friends to understand the material (chanda and viriya). In learning evaluations, students evaluate their learning process and feel that their achievements or bad grades are caused by not being optimal in learning (vimaṁsā).

Abstract

Pada tataran ekosistem, burung adalah komponen biotis memiliki peran dan fungsi yang penting dan beragam, bergantung pada jenis dan cara hidupnya. Pada kajian mengenai dampak pembangunan pada kestabilan lingkungan dan ekosistem, salah satu yang dapat dikaji adalah mengenai pergeseran hidupan liar yang terdampak dari adanya pembangunan. Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai identifikasi hidupan liar burung, menganalisis peran dan fungsi burung dan menghasilkan rekomendasi pengelolaan habitat burung liar sebagai pendukung data analisis mengenai dampak lingkungan di kampus UNY-Wates. Pengamatan burung dilakukan sebanyak 3 periode pada waktu yang berbeda. Pengamatan dilakukan pada November 2022, Juli 2023 dan Desember 2023 dengan metode point purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi habitat. Hasil identifikasi hidupan burung liar di kampus UNY-Wates terdapat 19 jenis burung, yang didalamnya terdapat 1 jenis burung migrasi. Terdapat empat peran dan fungsi dari 19 jenis burung yang teridentifikasi yaitu sebagai Penyebuk bunga, Pemencar biji, Pengendali hama, Transfer mineral. Terkait dengan jenis burung serta peran dan fungsi ekologisnya maka pengelolaan habitat burung yang direkomendasikan agar dapat mendukung pelaporan AMDAL kampus UNY-Wates adalah memperbanyak tegakan dan semak berbuah sebagai pakan seperti pohon Talok (Muntingia calabura), pohon Pepaya (Carica papaya), pohon Beringin (Ficus benjamina) dan juga Semak perindang seperti Senggani (Melastomaceae), Gandrik (Phyllantaceae). Tumbuhan jenis lain yang juga mendukung fungsi ekologis dari burung adalah keluarga tumbuhan pisang-pisangan (Musaceae) dan keluarga pohon Dadap (Fabaceae). Ruang terbuka hijau juga perlu dipertahankan dengan tidak menutup tanah dan rumput dengan paving block. Hal tersebut karena terdapat beberapa burung yang memiliki pola hidup Insectivore dan pemakan biji rerumputan (Graminaceae).
