Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze food security improvement strategy in line with the potency and problems, so that the utilization of village funds is more optimal and on target in order to support the financing of food security in Kuwu village, Dempet Sub-district, Demak Regency. The type of this research is quantitative research by using SWOT analysis. This research used primary and secondary data. The results of analysis showed that the utilization of Kuwu Village Fund was more concerned with physical development as well as transportation facilities and infrastructure. The results of SWOT analysis showed that the appropriate strategy to improve food security through the use of Village Funds in Kuwu Village is to support aggressive growth policy by maximizing the strengths and opportunities such as increasing food production capacity by intensification and diversification, human resource development, and improving the road infrastructure of farmer business. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi peningkatan ketahanan pangan sejalan dengan potensi dan permasalahannya, sehingga pemanfaatan dana desa lebih optimal dan tepat sasaran dalam rangka mendukung pembiayaan ketahanan pangan di desa Kuwu, Kecamatan Dempet. , Kabupaten Demak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Dana Desa Kuwu lebih berkaitan dengan pembangunan fisik serta sarana dan prasarana transportasi. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan melalui penggunaan Dana Desa di Desa Kuwu adalah untuk mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan agresif dengan memaksimalkan kekuatan dan peluang seperti meningkatkan kapasitas produksi pangan dengan intensifikasi dan diversifikasi, pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dan meningkatkan infrastruktur jalan bisnis petani.

Abstract

Eco-enzyme is one of the potential organic waste processing technologies in the future. This community service activity aims to provide training on eco-enzyme household waste management in the Ujung Residence housing environment and youth groups in Ngujung Village, Maospati District, Magetan Regency. This activity begins with the dissemination of technology and the use of eco-enzymes through interactive lectures and discussions, followed by demonstrations of eco-enzyme production by the resource persons. The assessment is carried out according to a process that includes the presence of participants, enthusiasm/enthusiasm and response to training activities, as well as ecological enzyme products produced by the participants' production houses. The results of the service show that the training activities have been able to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in processing organic waste into ecological enzymes. The results of the evaluation showed that the response, enthusiasm, acceptance, presence and participation of the community in the training activities were very good. The eco-enzyme product produced by the participants was considered successful if it met certain criteria, namely brown color, distinctive fruity odor with a slight alcohol aroma, acidic pH (3-4) and free of mold or maggots.

Abstract

The addition of food chemicals is an activity in food processing. The addition of food chemicals in the food industry aims to improve quality, extend shelf life, and maintain product safety and taste. One of the additives that is often used is sodium benzoate. sodium salts from benzoic acid. Sodium benzoate serves as a preservative that prevents the growth of microorganisms, especially fungi and some types of bacteria, which can cause damage to food products. The use of sodium benzoate as a preservative has been widely recognized, especially in products with high water content and susceptible to microbial contamination, such as soft drinks, sauces, jams, and other processed foods. The method used for the creation of this review article is a literature study

Abstract

Meningkatnya kesadaran akan dampak lingkungan dari kemasan plastik mendorong pentingnya penerapan kemasan ramah lingkungan di berbagai industri, termasuk industri kain tenun. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pelaku usaha kain tenun di Desa Simpang Empat, Kecamatan Jejawi, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir dalam pengembangan kemasan ramah lingkungan dan branding produk untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, survei kebutuhan mitra, penyusunan materi pelatihan, pelaksanaan sesi pelatihan, dan evaluasi efektivitas program dengan melibatkan 24 peserta. Hasil kuesioner awal menunjukkan bahwa 62,5% peserta memiliki pemahaman terbatas terhadap konsep kemasan ramah lingkungan, dengan kendala utama berupa harga yang lebih mahal (41,7%), keterbatasan ketersediaan bahan (33,3%), dan kurangnya informasi edukasi (25%). Setelah pelatihan, 100% peserta menyatakan mendapatkan wawasan baru tentang manfaat kemasan ramah lingkungan, dengan 33,3% peserta menilai materi sangat jelas dan 37,5% menilai relevansi materi sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis. Keberlanjutan program akan dilakukan melalui pendampingan desain kemasan, pemilihan material kemasan lokal yang ramah lingkungan, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam produksi kemasan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang kemasan ramah lingkungan dan mendukung upaya pengurangan sampah plastik serta kelestarian lingkungan.Kata kunci: kemasan ramah lingkungan, branding, kain tenun, pengembangan UMKM, pengabdian kepada masyarakat
