Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Komunikasi dalam tradisi retorika kritis yang membahas tentang fantasi yang dikembangkan dalam fenomena komunikasi menggunakan wadah digital dalam aktifitas podcast. Tema Fantasi yang menjadi landasan berfikir dalam penelitian ini akan dipandu dengan menggunakan teori konvergensi simbolik dengan metode analisis tema fantasi dengan tujuan untuk mengungkap fantasi yang diciptakan podcaster dan kemampuan fantasi tersebut menjadi realitas simbolik pada konten podcast yang ditayangkan. Dalam upaya tersebut penelitian ini melibatkan delapan orang podcaster dan empat konten podcast. Tipe fantasi yang diciptakan melalui konten podcast terdiri dari comedy for life, parenting, dan historical. Tipe fantasi tersebut diciptakan dengan menggunakan frasa simbolik dialek lokal Pekanbaru. Tema fantasi yang menjadi realitas simbolik pada subjek adalah intelectual product yang merupakan kemampuan masing-masing podcaster dalam menciptakan fantasi dengan kohesi sosial. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu model komunikasi digital yaitu model balok yang merupakan bentuk interaksi fantasi dari realitas simbolik dari analisis tema fantasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini.Â Kata Kunci : Podcast, Digital, Naratif, Konvergensi Simbolik, Tema Fantasi.Â

This study aims to find out in-depth about the social construction of "Motivasi Muslimah Riau". This study focused on the construction of social identity "Motivasi Muslimah Riau" in the hijrah movement carried out by the community through Instagram social media. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this study found 7 (seven) informants, consisting of the founders, chairman, secretary, social division, and members obtained through purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data is using source triangulation. The theory used in this research is the theory of social construction which is divided into 3 (three) stages, namely externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The results of this study indicate that "Riau Muslimah Motivation" passes through 3 (three) stages in social construction theory, namely externalization, objectivation, and internalization. (1) The stage of externalizing the incident process to Muslim women, the process of forming “Muslimah Motivations Riau” which can make Muslim women aware of covering their genitals, the process of introducing themselves to the community, and the process of adjusting to the vision and mission, as well as administrators and members; (2) at the objectification stage there is a process of interaction through social media and directly, so that there is a process of the interaction process, as well as a process of awareness of position in the community by requiring members to be active and come in every activity; (3) the internalization stage occurs in the process of instilling values and beliefs about the obligation to cover the genitals for Muslim women, changes in members who are aware of covering their genitals according to Islamic law and providing good benefits for the surrounding community

Air pollution in Riau Province is an environmental problem that has been going on for years, with significant impacts on public health, the environment, and the economy. One of the main causes of air pollution is forest and land fires (karhutla), which are generally caused by land clearing practices for agriculture and oil palm plantations. Although various efforts have been made to overcome air pollution, its implementation in Riau Province still faces a number of challenges, such as lack of socialization, suboptimal supervision, and weak law enforcement against perpetrators of arson. This study aims to examine how air pollution control policies are implemented in Riau Province through analysis of local media coverage from 2021 to 2024. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, which focuses on analyzing news content related to air pollution control policies. The results of the study show that although various policies have been implemented, challenges in supervision and public awareness still hinder the effectiveness of air pollution control efforts. This study provides recommendations for policy makers to strengthen coordination between agencies, increase public education, and improve supervision for more effective air pollution reduction in the future.

Perkembangan era digital yang pesat telah membentuk pola hidup dan cara berpikir Generasi Z, generasi yang tumbuh di tengah kemajuan teknologi informasi. Sebagai generasi pertama yang hidup berdampingan sejak awal dengan smartphone dan dunia digital, Gen Z dituntut untuk terus beradaptasi dengan berbagai bentuk digitalisasi. Meskipun memberikan banyak manfaat, era digital juga membawa tantangan tersendiri, salah satunya terkait dengan kesehatan mental yang rentan terpengaruh oleh eksposur digital yang berlebihan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi hukum mengenai kontrak digital (digital contractual) kepada Generasi Z, khususnya peserta didik di SMK Multi Mekanik Masmur Pekanbaru. Tema ini dipilih karena Gen Z dikenal memiliki tingkat literasi digital yang cukup tinggi, namun belum sepenuhnya memahami aspek hukum yang melingkupi aktivitas digital mereka. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, mulai dari pengusulan proposal, pra-kegiatan, pelaksanaan penyuluhan, hingga pelaporan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai penggunaan kontrak digital secara bijak serta kesadaran terhadap dampak positif dan negatif dari interaksi digital dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

The widespread use of social media has led several accounts to utilize these platforms as educational media for cyber sexual harassment (CSH) awareness. This research examines the relationship between motives and satisfaction of followers of CSH educational accounts in Indonesia, analyzing four prominent accounts: @media.riseup, @awaskbgo, @stop.kbgo, and @taskforce_kbgo. This study employs quantitative methods using the Expectancy-Value model introduced by Palmgreen, distinguishing between Gratification Sought (GS) and Gratification Obtained (GO). Data were collected from 100 respondents across Indonesia using proportionate stratified random sampling, with analysis conducted through Spearman Rho correlation and mean difference tests. The sample comprised predominantly female followers (68%) aged 19-25 years, with 52% having experienced cyber sexual harassment. The results demonstrate a significant positive relationship between motives and satisfaction with a correlation value of 0.720 (p < 0.05). However, the mean test reveals a negative satisfaction gap of 0.14 between expected and obtained gratifications, indicating these educational accounts have not fully met followers' expectations. These findings suggest improvements in content consistency and delivery methods are needed to enhance educational effectiveness.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)'s emergence has revolutionized Indonesia's local and national journalistic media landscape. It brings new challenges in terms of information integrity. This research explores the opportunities and challenges local media in Indonesia face in integrating Islamic values through journalistic activities in media using AI technology. Through a qualitative approach of media content analysis, this study has analyzed the content of news broadcasts on the YouTube channels @tvoneai and @metrotvnews. A total of 124 videos were analyzed, consisting of 41 videos from @tvoneai and 83 short videos from @metrotvnews published from July 16 to July 29, 2024. Referring to the results of the analysis based on the concepts built, the researcher concludes that AI-based digital journalism activities in Indonesia have not maximally fulfilled the elements of Islamic values. It is reflected in some news reports in politics, social issues, economy, entertainment, and technology, which still lack consistency (Al-Istiqamah ), truth & accuracy (As-Shidiq), Amar ma’ruf Nahi Mungkar, justice & impartiality (Al-Musawah), humanity (Ta’awun), and reconfirmation (Tabayyun).

Media sosial dianggap sebagai alat penghibur diri (self healing) dari tekanan perasaan dan beban pikiran oleh remaja. Pemanfaatannya dengan mengonsumsi atau mengunggah sesuatu yang dianggap mewakili keadaan dirinya. Analisis Wacana Kritis Teun A. Van Dijk telah digunakan untuk menganalisis setiap unggahan yang dibagikan oleh informan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis wacana quotes islami sebagai alat self healing remaja Islam melalui media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kualitatif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah remaja usia 18-21 tahun. Kriteria khusus telah ditetapkan untuk memvalidasi informan agar dapat diwawancari, observasi dan dokumentasi guna memperoleh data yang kredibel. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan dimensi teks: dimensi teks yang terkandung dalam unggahan yang dibagikan oleh remaja cenderung menjadi gambaran atas apa yang dirasakannya, isi teks dalam kutipan unggahan tersebut merupakan ungkapan remaja mengenai kondisi psikologisnya. Dimensi kognisi sosial: quotes di Instagram story oleh remaja tersebut memiliki banyak kesamaan dimana alasan teks tersebut diproduksi. Quotes berisi tentang kekhawatiran, ketakutan, perasaan bersalah yang merupakan salah satu gejala dari kesehatan mental, quotes sebagai self-reminder atau pengingat diri. Dimensi konteks sosial, remaja mengharapkan respon positif dan negatif, adanya motif untuk menemukan jawaban atas pertanyaan- pertanyaan dari dalam diri remaja, respon melahirkan suasana dan merasa down akibat permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi.

Applying qualitative literature review, this research aims to conceptually explore problems regarding cyber sexual harassment through social media. The research shows that in Indonesia public should give more serious attention to the issue of cyber sexual harassment. Nowadays, public still lack of proper knowledge to classify things that fall into cyber sexual harassment category. Sexual harassment as a form of immoral action against someone involving aspects of pornographic acts may cause psychological conditions that disrupt mental harmony.

In this digital age, interpersonal communication has been shifted massively to social media, including the culinary field, which is inseparable from the role of food vloggers. Widy Hartono, a local food vlogger, is notable for his ability to build rapport with his followers through informative, personal, and consistent content. The purpose of this study was to examine communication practices through computer-mediated communication on the Instagram account @widyhartono, owned and managed by Widy Hartono. The descriptive qualitative research method was employed in this study through data collection techniques, including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that, according to Social Information Processing Theory, three key aspects had emerged. The first was interpersonal communication, which reflected an interest in using social media. In publishing information, Hartono's Instagram account tends to emphasize a friendly persona and nonverbal communication online through emoticons. The second aspect was the interpersonal perspective, reflected in regular publishing content that presented a friendly and approachable persona. The third one was hyper-personal communication, where Widi Hartono argued that communication carried out using social media and face-to-face is identical, depending on the individual's personality and the context in which the message is conveyed. In conclusion, the strategy analysis for using Instagram by @widyhartono was to provide information that is more enjoyable and easier for the audience to understand, to approach the audience on social media so that they don't get bored, and to stay consistent in publishing and following a specific schedule for the content to be published.
