Abstract

The research has been done to know profile of students result of teaching in acid, base and salt concepts through a contextual teaching and learning (CTL) using the class VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Ambon as a sampel of searching.  Profile of student learning results in acid-base concept and salt obtained by the test results to learn. Descriptive analist showed that the results obtained studying the cognitive aspects of 80.07%, 86.02% affective aspects, while the aspect psiycomotoryc 87.29% students are success to achieved the KKM. After following the learning process, the result of the acquisition value of the final test (post-test) showed that 80.16% of students have been able to achieve KKM. Of the students test data during the learning process the Final Value (NA) all students showed that 100% all students have reached the KKM. Based on the results obtained can be concluded that by using a contextual approach to teaching and learning (CTL) on the concept of base and acid salts can encourage students to be able find a relationship between the material learned to real life situations of students and increase student result of learning.

Abstract

A research has conducted to know student’s study result after the application of the student’s work paper base contextual of material on solubility and solubility multiplication result. This type of this research was descriptive to describes the symptoms accurred in it by using XI IPA class of SMA Negeri 4 Leihitu as research subject. The data was taken from student’s study result, cognitive tests per meeting. From the data collected, it might be concluded that the application of student’s work paper experiments based contextual might motivate the student’s activitites in teaching learning process and improve their study result with minimal completeness standard 80.36%

Abstract

Abstract

The concept of chemical bonds is often understood in a misconception by some students which causes the understanding of misconceptions also occurs in advanced chemical concepts. The research objective is to reduce the misconception burden of chemistry teacher candidates on the basic concepts of chemistry using cognitive conflict strategies. Case study research using qualitative methods with 10 students as research subjects obtained through misconception detection tests using the three tier test method. Research data obtained using data triangulation (observation, documents, and interviews). The results obtained indicate that the cognitive conflict strategy has succeeded in changing the cognitive structure (schemata) of individual students, causing changes in the burden of high misconceptions to low and understanding misconceptions (MK) to know the concept (TK). Future studies can use cognitive conflict strategies on other chemical concepts with high or low misconceptions. Konsep ikatan kimia sering dipahami secara miskonsepsi oleh sebagian mahasiswa yang menyebabkan pemahaman miskonsepsi juga terjadi pada konsep-konsep kimia lanjutan. Tujuan penelitian, yaitu mereduksi beban miskonsepsi mahasiswa calon guru kimia pada konsep-konsep dasar kimia menggunakan strategi konflik kognitif. Penelitian studi kasus menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan 10 mahasiswa sebagai subjek penelitian yang diperoleh melalui tes pendeteksi miskonsepsi menggunakan metode three tier tes. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan triangulasi data (observasi, dokumen, dan wawancara). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukakan strategi konflik kognitif berhasil merubah struktur kognitif (skemata) mahasiswa secara individu, menyebabkan terjadi perubahan beban miskonsepsi tinggi menjadi rendah dan pemahaman miskonsepsi (MK) menjadi tahu konsep (TK). Penelitian selanjutnya dapat menggunakan strategi konflik kognitif pada konsep-konsep kimia yang lain dengan beban miskonsepsi tinggi maupun rendah.

Abstract

Strategi conceptual change terntegrasi recall dikembangkan dengan tujuan untuk memfasilitasi terjadinya konflik kognitif dan reduksi beban miskonsepsi mahasiswa calon guru kimia. Penelitian i studi kasus, dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa calon guru kimia yang terdeteksi mengalami beban miskonsepsi tinggi pada konsep ikatan ionik lebih dari 50%, menggunakan metode three tier diagnostic test. Mahasiswa yang terdeteksi beban miskonsepsi tinggi pada konsep ikatan ionik, diperbaiki struktur kognitif (skemata) secara individual menggunakan strategi conceptual change terintegrasi recall menyebabkan terjadinya konflik kognitif dan reduksi beban miskonsepsi. Data diperoleh menggunakan triangulasi metode, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan video. Hasil penelitian strategi conceptual change terintegrasi recall memberikan dampak yang baik pada, (1) proses recall membantu memberikan informasi miskonsepsi yang tersimpan dalam long term memory, (2) terjadi peningkatan konflik kognitif, menyebabkan perubahan konsepsi dengan mudah, (3) terjadi penurunan beban miskonsepsi (MK) menjadi tahu konsep (TK).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes and students' learning motivation on redox reaction material for class X IPA MA Al-Fatah Ambon before and during the covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study consisted of 22 students who studied redox reaction material in class X offline and 22 students who studied redox reactions online. This study uses a quantitative experimental research method with a comparative study research design. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire, documentation and observation. Questionnaires were used to measure students' learning motivation, documentation was used to measure learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) of students in class X before the pandemic and cognitive learning outcomes in class X during the pandemic, while observation was used to measure affective and psychomotor learning outcomes. Class X students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The documentation used is the value of students in the redox reaction material for the even semester 2019/2020 and even semester 2020/2021, then observations are made by participating in live online learning. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis methods. Based on the results of descriptive data analysis of learning motivation and student learning outcomes on redox reaction material for class X before and during the pandemic period, it was in the moderate category, while based on the results of inferential data analysis using Mann-Whitney analysis for learning motivation, the Asymp sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) 0.646 and 0.000 learning outcomes. The results show that there are no differences in students' learning motivation before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, so H0 is accepted, and there are differences in student learning outcomes before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, so H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat konflik kognitif siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kimia kelas XI SMA Katolik Yos Sudarso Dobo setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI Mia 1 Ruang 1 yang berjumlah 14 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik bertujuan (Purposive). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tingkat konflik kognitif siswa berada pada kualifikasi sedang. Sementara hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari tes formatif menunjukkan 10 siswa (71.42%) dapat mencapai ketuntasan. Dari hasil penelitan yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis tingkat konflik kognitif siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Katolik Yos Sudarsdo Dobo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of science process skills to improving student learning outcomes on the concept of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions for class X SMA Negeri 26 Central Maluku and to determine student responses to learning by using the laboratory. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research design with one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 25 students of class X MIA-1 SMA Negeri 26 Maluku Tengah. Data was collected using test instruments and non-test instruments. The results showed that all students (100%) had reached the KKM. To find out the increase in student learning outcomes, it is calculated using the normalized gain formula (n-gain) where 8 students (32%) are in high qualification and 17 students (68%) are in medium qualification, with an average value of n-gain of 0.7 with a percentage of 70%. For student responses to learning by utilizing laboratories in the form of practicum activities, 17 students (68%) were in the strongly agree qualification, 8 students (32%) were in the agree qualification. Thus the application of science process skills and the use of laboratories has a positive effect on improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan miskonsepsi peserta didik pada materi struktur atom menggunakan strategi konflik kognitif dalam pembelajaran remedial di kelas X IPA SMA Swasta XIII-1 Ambon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental with one group pre-test and posh-test design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 48 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 peserta didik dalam kelas X IPA Swasta XIII-1 Ambon. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrument tes berupa soal tes dan non tes berupa lembar wawancara dan di analisis menggunakan tabel interpretasi hasil Four-tier. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi konflik kognitif efektif dalam mereduksi miskonsepsi. Rata-rata persentase miskonsepsi peserta didik sebelum remediasi adalah 56% termasuk dalam kategori sedang tetapi setelah dilakukan remediasi menggu

Abstract

This study was conducted with the objective to find out the significant influence between learning daring using microsoft teams on the reaction rate material on the learning outcomes of class XI Science students at SMA Negeri 6 Ambon in the 2020/2021 school year. The population of this study were students of class XI IPA 2 and a sample of 16 people. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that there was a significant influence between learning daring using microsoft teams on student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the results of the regression equation Y = 10.857 + 0.315x. This means that if learning daring using microsoft teams is increased by 1 point, the learning outcomes will increase by 31.5%, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
