Abstract: The ability of students in Islamic universities to write Arabic correctly is very important. Therefore, it is very important to have learning related to tahsinul kitabah or improving Arabic writing. The problem that the writer finds in the process of learning tahsinul kitabah is that there are still many students who have very low writing skills in Arabic. This is partly due to the previous educational background. For this reason, a learning innovation is needed that can help students improve their writing skills even for those who do not have an educational background in previous Islamic religious schools. This paper contains a study of several learning media theories which are mixed in a learning media design. The results of this study, the authors produced an audiovisual learning media for imla 'learning, namely silent audio-visual media, in the form of books / sheets and sound (audio).Key Words: Instructional media, audio-visual, imlaâ€™Â Abstrak: Kemampuan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi Islam dalam menulis tulisan berbahasa Arab sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, sangat diperlukan adanya pembelajaran terkait tahsinul kitabah atau memperbaiki tulisan berbahasa Arab. Permasalahn yang penulis temukan dalam proses pembelajaran tahsinul kitabah adalah masih banyaknya mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan menulis tulisan berbahasa Arab sangat rendah. Hal itu di antaranya disebabkan oleh latar belakang pendidikan yang ditempuh sebelumnya. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya suatu inovasi pembelajaran yang bisa membantu mahasiswa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mereka bahkan bagi mereka yang tidak memiliki latar pendidikan di sekolah agama Islam sebelumnya. Tulisan ini berisi kajian terhadap beberapa teori media pembelajaran yang diramu dalam suatu desain media pembelajaran. Hasil dari kajian tersebut, diperoleh sebuah media pembelajaran audiovisual untuk pembelajaran imlaâ€™, yaitu media audio visual diam, berupa buku/lembaran dan suara (audio).Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, audio-visual, imlaâ€™

Humanism developed during the 16th century. It gives contributions for education, up to language teaching. Some experts have developed humanistic methods in language teaching, they are Counseling Learning Method (CLM) or Community Language Learning (CLL), silent way, suggestopedia and Total Physical Response (TPR) or the comprehension approach. These methods could be used in language teaching as an alternative method to teaching the Arabic language.

Tahsinul Kitabah is one of the compulsory courses for the students of the islamic education program at IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung. At the last of the first semester, I found that the students had many difficulties in writing the Arabic language. Based on that, I wanted to identify the mistakes in the student’s writing. In Arabic science, the mistakes are called by akhtho’ imlaiyyah. For this research, I used a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. And for collecting the data, I used observation, documentation, and interview method. The result of this research is the mistakes of student’s of Islamic education program class A, B, C, and F for the first semester of 2019/2020 school year writing in Arabic is about hijaiyah writing, ta’ marbuthah and ta’ maftuhah, short and length of words, identification of the sound of hijaiyah letter, writing words that have tanwin and tasydid, stringing the letters, and alif lam syamsiah. That's all is be caused by the linguistic’s aspect and non linguistic’s aspects.

The book is a learning resource for students and sometimes does not always support the educational activities of students on Arabic language communication practices. This research aims to reveal the extent of the representation and presentation of educational activities in the Arabic language teaching book published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs based on the communication approach principles. This research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis that describes the presentation of educational activities based on the principles of Jack Croft Richards' communication approach. The method of data collection used is documentary studies with statistical analysis of the percentage assessment. Based on the results of data analysis and processing by using evaluative innstrument consisting of 17 points, the researcher concluded that the contents of the book were appropriate to the communication approach principles.

During observations at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Pangkalpinang, We found that there were still many students who had poor Arabic language skills. It makes us interested to know the pedagogical competence of the teacher at the school and also the obstacles he encountered in optimizing the application of the pedagogic competence he possesses because there are some studies that say that the pedagogy of teachers influences the learning outcome, motivation, and interest in learning Arabic students. This research aims to find out how the teacher's pedagogical competence is implemented in the following learning process with the obstacles encountered by the teacher in implementing such pedagogic competence. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. For data collection, the methods of interviews, documents and observations were used. For data analysis, the techniques invented by Miles and Huberman consist of the process of data reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of research showed that teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Pangkalpinang already have good pedagogical competence. However, in optimizing the application of their pedagogical competences, teachers face various barriers from both students, schools, environments, and learning time. This research provides information to future researchers. We hope that there will be further research into solutions that can be offered to overcome barriers to learning Arabic that come from students, schools, environments and the learning time provided.

Translation is one of the important parts of students' Arabic learning because it has helped in the process of teaching. However, most students of the eighth grade of Islamic Junior High School Number 3 Bangka had difficulty in the process of translating from Arabic into Bahasa Indonesia. Students' translation problems impede the achieving of the educational goal. This study aimed to analyze students' problems in translating from Arabic into Bahasa Indonesia. The results of this study indicated two major problems: linguistic and non-linguistic. The linguistic problem found consisted of students' lack of proficiency in Arabic, students' lack of ability to learn Arabic grammar, students that tend to have difficulty arranging Arabic sentences to Bahasa Indonesia. The non-linguistic problems found consisted of students who were not interested in learning Arabic, students' ability to translate differently and the lack of time to learn Arabic and students still use google translation in the translation processes .

Keberhasilan dari setiap proses kegiatan pembelajaran juga akan ikut dipengaruhi dari berbagai macam faktor, diantaranya yakni internal serta eksternal dari subjek belajar. Beberapa yang menjadi faktor dari eksternal meliputi meliputi faktor fisiologis dan psikologis, dari segi aspek psikologis, keberadaan minat merupakan aspek psikologis yang memiliki peranan sangat berpengaruh dalam proses belajar. Begitupun dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, rendahnya motivasi dan minat belajar saat belajar menggunakan bahasa Arab pun dapat menenjadi suatu penghambat keberhasilan dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Oleh sebabnya, dibutuhkan sebuah penelitian guna mengkaji lebih dalam lagi sejauh mana minat siswa belajar menggunakan bahasa Arab serta seberapa signifikan kaitannya antar minat terhadap prestasi siswa dalam belajar menggunakan bahasa Arab siswa yang duduk di kelas VIII pada MTs An-Najah Petaling. Penelitina kali ini juga mempunyai tujuan agar bisa mengetahui kaitan antara minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi siswa dalam mepelajari bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas VIII di MTs An-Najah Petaling yang berjumlah siswanya yakni 48 orang. Dalam mengukur penelitian kali ini peneliti memakai angket serta tes. Kemudian data tersebut akan dianalisis mengunakan program komputer spss dengan teknik analisis data korelasi pearson product moment. Sedangkan dalam melakukan uji prasyarat untuk menganalisis datanya yakni memakai uji normalitas serta linieritas. Hasil dari penelitian kali ini memperlihatkan tidak adanya hubungan atau kaitan yang signifikan dari minat belajar dengan prestasi siswa ketika belajar bahasa Arab, yakni diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,126 > 0,05 dengan nilai (R square : 5%) lalu selebihnya yakni 95% dipengaruhi dari beberapa faktor yang lainnya.

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya Maharah Istima' (kemampuan mendengar) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab bagi non-penutur asli, dengan fokus pada pendekatan yang dikembangkan oleh Muhammad Kamil An-Naqoh. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh tantangan yang dihadapi oleh non-penutur asli dalam memahami dan berkomunikasi menggunakan Bahasa Arab, yang sering kali disebabkan oleh kurangnya keterampilan mendengar yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis konsep Maharah Istima' menurut An-Naqoh, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran keterampilan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Maharah Istima' yang berbasis pada teori An-Naqoh dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mendengar non-penutur asli. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan utama, seperti kesulitan siswa dalam fokus, memahami aliran suara, dan merespons dengan tepat. Selain itu, pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan menggunakan metode pengajaran yang sesuai juga ditekankan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup perlunya integrasi aspek fonetik, semantik, gramatikal, dan morfologi dalam pengajaran, serta penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan metodologi pengajaran Bahasa Arab, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak bagi non-penutur asli.
