Abstract

AbstrakHasil analisis kebutuhan bahwa hanya 13,33% guru yang menunjukkan motivasi tinggi dalam menulis terutama artikel ilmiah. Namun demikian, 88,89% guru menyatakan membutuhkan kegiatan dalam meningkatkan keterampilannya dalam menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah.. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, perlu diselenggarakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa kegiatan bimbingan teknis yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan dan keterampilan bagi guru pendidikan dasar dan pendidikan menengah se-Provinsi Lampung dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah beserta publikaisnya. Rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian adalah: (1) pretest untuk mengetahui pengetahuan guru tentang karya tulis ilmiah, penelitian Tindakan kelas, artikel ilmiah, dan publikasi karya tulis ilmiah; (2) pelatihan dan workshop tentang karya tulis ilmiah; (3) bimbingan teknis penulisan artikel ilmiah dari karya tulis ilmiah; (4) bimbingan teknis publikasi artikel ilmiah; dan (5) posttest untuk mengetahui perkembangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan dengan pelatihan, workshop dan bimbingan teknis oleh ahli. Luaran yang ditargetkan berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, draf artikel ilmiah yang dibuat oleh guru/peserta, serta publikasi pada jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil bimtek menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru-guru sekolah dasar dan menengah tentang karya tulis ilmiah. Hal ini didasarkan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman tentang karya tulis ilmiah pada setiap komponen pertanyaan. Kata Kunci: bimbingan teknis; guru; karya tulis ilmiah; publikasi AbstractThe results of the needs analysis show that only 13.33% of teachers show high motivation in writing, especially scientific articles. However, 88.89% of teachers stated that they needed activities to improve their skills in producing scientific papers. To answer this need, it is necessary to provide community service in the form of technical guidance activities which aim to provide abilities and skills for primary education and secondary education teachers throughout Lampung Province in writing scientific papers and their publications. The series of activities are: (1) pretest to determine the teacher's knowledge about scientific writing, classroom action research, scientific articles, and publication of scientific papers; (2) presentation of material regarding scientific papers; (3) technical guidance on writing scientific articles from scientific papers; (4) technical guidance for the publication of scientific articles; and (5) posttest to determine the development of teacher knowledge and skills. Activities have been carried out with training, workshops and technical guidance by experts. The targeted output is increasing teachers' knowledge and skills in writing scientific papers, drafting scientific articles created by teachers/participants, as well as publication in community service journals. The results of the technical guidance show that this training activity is effective in improving the understanding and skills of primary and secondary school teachers regarding scientific writing. Abstract

AbstractThe point of this quasi experimental research was to find out the influence of inquiry learning models towards students mathematical representation abilities. The population was all students grade VIII of Junior High School State 5 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2023/2024, which consisted of 323 students and were distributed into elevan classes. The sample in this study consisted of 28 students from class VIII-8 and 28 students from class VIII-9, who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The design was pretest posttest control group design. The data in this study were quantitative data obtained from tests on students' mathematical representation abilities. The data analysis technique included analyzing prerequisites and hypotheses using Independent Sample T-Test (t-test). The research findings indicated that the average score improvement (gain) of students' mathematical representation abilities who followed the guided inquiry learning model was higher than the average score improvement (gain) of students' mathematical representation abilities who followed conventional learning. Therefore, the use of guided inquiry learning model influenced students' mathematical representation abilities. The inqury learning model should have been considered by teachers in the learning process to enhance students' mathematical representation abilities.AbstrakPenelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 323 siswa yang terdistribusi ke dalam 11 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-1 sampai VIII-11. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-8 terdiri dari 28 siswa dan VIII-9 terdiri dari 28 siswa yang terpilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest posttest control group design. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor peningkatan (gain) kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata skor peningkatan (gain) kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing hendaknya dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran oleh guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.

Abstract

Mathematical reflective thinking ability is a thinking ability that involves the process of connecting existing knowledge with new knowledge to solve problems by identifying problems, evaluating, concluding, and making decisions to find the best solution to the problems faced. Mathematical reflective thinking ability has an important role for teachers and students in mathematics learning that focuses on problem solving. However, in reality, many students still have difficulty reflecting on their thinking processes when solving mathematical problems. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a learning model that actively involves students in activities and focuses on solving mathematical problems, one of which is the guided inquiry model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Guided inquiry learning model on students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study were all eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year with a sample of 30 students in grades VIII.8 and VIII.9 selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research design used was a posttest only control group design. The data in this study were quantitative data obtained from a mathematical reflective thinking ability test. Data analysis in this study used a statistical test, namely the t-test. The results showed that the mathematical reflective thinking ability of students who followed the guided inquiry learning model was higher than the mathematical reflective thinking ability of students who followed conventional learning. Thus, the guided inquiry learning model influenced students' mathematical reflective thinking ability.
