Abstract

This research aimed to make valid assessment of affective instrument referring on core competence-one about value of belief and core competence-two about value of the devotion of the environtment in science learning at Junior High School. The development model used was based on Borg and Gall. The subjects of this research were Junior High School 2 Bandar Lampung grades VII students of acceleration and VII eight. Last products obtained were assessment of affective instruments i.e. self assessment instrument, peer assessment instrument, and observation instrument which are valid and applied along with its rubrics. Validity and reliability analysis on major field experiments measured by R-Commander software, obtained that self and peer assessment instruments were 0.92, while observation instrument was 0.86 which are valid and reliable. It means the instruments could be used as references for teachers at school.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen penilaian afektif yang valid, mengacu pada kompetensi inti satu mengenai nilai ketuhanan dan kompetensi inti dua mengenai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan pada pembelajaran sains di SMP. Model pengembangan mengacu pada Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII akselerasi dan VII.8 SMPN 2 Bandar Lampung. Produk akhir yang diperoleh berupa instrumen penilaian afektif yaitu instrumen penilaian diri, teman sebaya, dan observasi yang valid beserta rubriknya. Hasil analisis validitas dan reliabilitas pada uji lapangan utama menggunakan software R-Commander, didapatkan penilaian diri dan teman sebaya 0,92, sedangkan penilaian observasi 0,86 dengan kualitas valid dan reliabel. Hal ini berarti instrumen dapat digunakan sebagai acuan guru di sekolah.Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian afektif, ketuhanan, lingkungan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the ADI model on critical thinking skills based on different types of choleric personality, melancholy, phlegmatic, and sanguine. This study uses a quasi experimental type Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The results showed that there was a significant effect of learning with the ADI model on critical thinking skills in the type of choleric personality, melancholy, phlegmatic, and sanguine and there were differences in critical thinking skills between the four personality types, namely choleric and melancholy, phlegmatic, sanguine, this is because choleric students who are more likely to appear more active in communicating and moving quickly to act, where in this ADI model are required to give a lot of argumentation through verbal or communicating between fellow students to give their arguments. This shows that the use of the ADI learning model is able to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII D berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan seluruh siswa kelas VIII A berjumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan validasi ahli pembelajaran, media dan materi, angket respon siswa, angket tanggapan guru, dan hasil tes pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dalam sistem persamaan linear dua variabel dinyatakan valid. Hasil angket respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended mendapat kategori penilaian sangat praktis dan angket tanggapan guru dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil tes belajar siswa dianalisis dengan uji hipotesis N-gain, Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa.AbstractThis study aims to develop a group investigation learning model assisted by open ended questions to improve mathematical reflective thinking skills. The subjects in this study were all students of class VIII D totaling 26 students as the experimental class and all students of class VIII A totaling 24 students as the control class at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The instruments in this study used validation of learning experts, media and material, student response questionnaire, teacher response questionnaire, and learning test results. Learning devices based on mathematical reflective thinking ability in a system of linear equations of two variables that have been compiled and declared valid. After revision according to the suggestions of the validator, and field trials are conducted. The results of the student response questionnaire to the open investigation assisted group investigation model received a very practical assessment category and the teacher's questionnaire was very practical. Student learning test results were analyzed with the N-gain hypothesis test. Based on the hypothesis test, it was found that the development of the learning model of open ended group investigation was proven effective in increasing students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis problem solving untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa pada materi alat optik. LKS ini dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan Analyze, Design, dan Development. Data yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini berupa data validitas dan kepraktisan LKS. Kevalidan LKS telah dilakukan oleh tiga ahli dan mendapatkan hasil pada kategori ?sangat tinggi?. Kepraktisan dilakukan dengan memberikan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap LKS. Hasil angket menunjukkan respon siswa termasuk ?baik? pada seluruh aspek, yaitu aspek kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan LKS. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis problem solving dinyatakan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika materi alat optik di dalam kelas. Abstract: The study aims to develop a student worksheet based on problem solving to increase HOTS of students on optical instrument material. A student worksheet was developed using the ADDIE development model with the stages of Analyze, Design, and Development. The data generated in this research is the validity and practicality of student worksheet. Validity of student worksheet has been performed by three experts and got results on the "very high" category. Practicality is done by giving a poll to find out the student's response to the student worksheet. The poll shows students ' responses including "good" on all aspects, i.e. the aspect of the ministry, ease, and benefits of the student worksheet. These results indicate that the student worksheet based problem solving is stated to be valid and practical for use in the learning of optical material physics in the classroom

Abstract

This research aims to develop an assessment of problem-solving skills in improving students' digital literacy skills. This research is directed to produce physics learning assessments that can improve students' digital literacy using problem-solving skills assessments. The use of assessments that refer to the problem-solving skills stage is expected to improve students' digital literacy. The study is an R D research with the Borg and Gall development model. On the preliminary research, a questionnaire is needed to detect need analysis of an assessment that can help improving student digital literacy skills. Questionnaires were used to collect expert review data, while cognitive tests were used to collect data on students' problem-solving skills. Cognitive tests by posttest form were held to find out the progress of students understanding during the learning process using the products. The results of content validity by Aiken’s V is 0.80. The factor analysis is seen by the Bartlett test value with Chi-squares = 1.604 and significance at 0.659. Therefore, the problem-solving skills assessment from the aspect of content and construction has valid criteria and is suitable for use. The N-Gain test results of students problem-solving skills in the experimental class by 0.3 with a quite effective category higher than the control class of 0.12 with a quite effective category. The results show that the use of assessment of problem-solving skills effectively improved students digital literacy skills.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the dynamic society-oriented 6C assessment instrument in case method and team-based project learning. This quantitative descriptive research was conducted at the Lampung University and UIN Raden Intan Lampung (RIL), in the course which were implemented case method and/or team-based project learning-chosen by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique was used validity, reliability, tabulation of questionnaire results, descriptive and inferential statistics. The research results show that the 6C instruments are effective implemented in case method and team-based project learning. It was also found that in the implementation of case method and team-based project learning: i) the critical, creative, computational, and collaborative thinking skills of students at the University of Lampung were higher than the students at UIN RIL; ii) students' self-compassion at UIN RIL is higher than Lampung University; and iii) there are no students which gains high category of collaboration skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen asesmen kinerja berbasis literasi sains yang valid dan praktis pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengikuti tujuh tahap metode Borg and Gall. Subjek penelitian pengembangan ini dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu subjek uji coba produk adalah validasi ahli dan subjek uji coba pemakaian adalah 30 peserta didik kelas V A SDN 2 Harapan Jaya. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen asesmen kinerja berbasis literasi sains pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk layak digunakan, yang didapat dari rata-rata hasil analisis data oleh validator ahli 85,8% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Selanjutnya hasil analisis instrumen penelitian diperoleh nilai KMO sebesar 0,560>0,5 bahwa butir penilaian yang diamati pada lembar observasi baik untuk digunakan. Hasil uji reliabilitas cronbach's alpha menunjukkan 0,621>0,5. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen asesmen kinerja berbasis literasi sains telah valid dan sangat praktis digunakan pada pembelajaran tematik peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan Guru tingkatSMA se-Bandar Lampung terhadap penerapan On Going Assessment dan instrumen penilaianberbasis HOTS; (2) Meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru tingkat SMA se-BandarLampung dalam mengimplementasikan standar penilaian dalam Kurikulum 2013. Metode yangdigunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah diskusi, tanya jawab, workshop, dan pelatihan denganmenerapkan strategi kontekstual, yaitu mengaitkan teori dengan praktik yang disampaikan denganmetode praktik terbimbing. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 35 orang guru yangtergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Fisika SMA se-Kota Bandar Lampung.Evaluasi keberhasilan pelatihan akan dilakukan pada: (1) Awal kegiatan, yaitu pre-test, untukmengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan peserta pelatihan tentang on going assessment; (2) Akhirkegiatan, yaitu post-test, berisikan pertanyaan yang sama dengan tes awal, untuk mengetahui tingkatkeberhasilan, sehingga dapat diterapkan oleh setiap peserta. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secaradeskriptif kuantitatif. Pelatihan on going assessment dan keterampilan berbasis Higher Order ThinkingSkills sebanyak 27 peserta memperoleh hasil rata-rata 77,14% mengalami kenaikan nilai dari pre-testke post-test. Sedangkan, sebanyak 3 peserta memperoleh hasil rata-rata 8,57% mengalamipenurunan nilai pre-test ke post-test, dan sebanyak 5 peserta yang memperoleh hasil rata-rata14,28% mengalami penilaian yang tetap dari pre-test ke post-test. Berdasarkan hasil perolehantersebut pelatihan ini berhasil dikarenakan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai on goingassessment dan keterampilan berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills. Adapun sebagian kecil yangmengalami penurunan ini dikarenakan perbedaan jenis soal, yang mana pre-test berbentuk uraiandan post-test berbentuk pilihan jamak beserta uraian.

Abstract

Guru SMAN 1 Gedongtataan Lampung banyak yang belum bisa menggunakan learning managementsystem (LMS) secara maksimal sehingga membutuhkan pelatihan pembelajaran daring danpenambahan aplikasi kuis menyenangkan untuk memudahkan pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan iniadalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai Learning Management System danmeningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalahdemonstrasi, praktek, dan diskusi. Target pelatihan pembelajaran daring bagi guru yaitu terbentuknyakelas pada google classroom, pembuatan topik materi, invite siswa, pengunggahan materi pelajaran,dan kuis daring. Peserta mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pelatihan dengan sangat antusias.Nilai pretest peserta menunjukkan kategori rendah, sedangkan pada akhir kegiatan pelatihan rata-ratanilai posttest peserta tinggi. Peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang LMS pada pembelajaran daringtergolong sedang dengan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,39 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihanini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru mengenai LMS.

Abstract

AbstrakHasil analisis kebutuhan bahwa hanya 13,33% guru yang menunjukkan motivasi tinggi dalam menulis terutama artikel ilmiah. Namun demikian, 88,89% guru menyatakan membutuhkan kegiatan dalam meningkatkan keterampilannya dalam menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah.. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, perlu diselenggarakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa kegiatan bimbingan teknis yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan dan keterampilan bagi guru pendidikan dasar dan pendidikan menengah se-Provinsi Lampung dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah beserta publikaisnya. Rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian adalah: (1) pretest untuk mengetahui pengetahuan guru tentang karya tulis ilmiah, penelitian Tindakan kelas, artikel ilmiah, dan publikasi karya tulis ilmiah; (2) pelatihan dan workshop tentang karya tulis ilmiah; (3) bimbingan teknis penulisan artikel ilmiah dari karya tulis ilmiah; (4) bimbingan teknis publikasi artikel ilmiah; dan (5) posttest untuk mengetahui perkembangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan dengan pelatihan, workshop dan bimbingan teknis oleh ahli. Luaran yang ditargetkan berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, draf artikel ilmiah yang dibuat oleh guru/peserta, serta publikasi pada jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil bimtek menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru-guru sekolah dasar dan menengah tentang karya tulis ilmiah. Hal ini didasarkan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman tentang karya tulis ilmiah pada setiap komponen pertanyaan. Kata Kunci: bimbingan teknis; guru; karya tulis ilmiah; publikasi AbstractThe results of the needs analysis show that only 13.33% of teachers show high motivation in writing, especially scientific articles. However, 88.89% of teachers stated that they needed activities to improve their skills in producing scientific papers. To answer this need, it is necessary to provide community service in the form of technical guidance activities which aim to provide abilities and skills for primary education and secondary education teachers throughout Lampung Province in writing scientific papers and their publications. The series of activities are: (1) pretest to determine the teacher's knowledge about scientific writing, classroom action research, scientific articles, and publication of scientific papers; (2) presentation of material regarding scientific papers; (3) technical guidance on writing scientific articles from scientific papers; (4) technical guidance for the publication of scientific articles; and (5) posttest to determine the development of teacher knowledge and skills. Activities have been carried out with training, workshops and technical guidance by experts. The targeted output is increasing teachers' knowledge and skills in writing scientific papers, drafting scientific articles created by teachers/participants, as well as publication in community service journals. The results of the technical guidance show that this training activity is effective in improving the understanding and skills of primary and secondary school teachers regarding scientific writing.
