Abstract

The purpose of writing this work is to analyze the form of an external quality assurance system (SPME). The library research method for studying the External Quality Assurance System (SPME) in Indonesian higher education involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting secondary data from various trusted sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, reports and official documents. The steps include identifying and selecting relevant literature, reviewing the literature to understand SPME concepts and practices, and organizing and synthesizing data to provide a comprehensive picture of SPME. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a basis for developing strategies to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia. The result of this work is that the implementation of the External Quality Assurance System (SPME) in Indonesian higher education institutions faces various obstacles such as limited human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as financial constraints, which hinder the effectiveness of quality assurance. To overcome these obstacles, increased resource support, technological infrastructure and ongoing professional training are needed. Collaboration between universities, accreditation institutions, government and industry is very important to improve the quality of higher education. With the right strategy, the quality of higher education in Indonesia can be improved, producing graduates who are competent and ready to compete on the global stage.

Abstract

This article is intended to examine the service dimension in the Quranic interpretation to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the realization of a superior and competitive educational institution. The values of service contained in the Qur'an, the Hadith and the sources of civilization in the past can be a perfect and differentiator of secular concepts and theories that are now established. Thus, the quality of educational services within the framework of Islam can be the competitive advantage of Islamic education service organizations. The quality of education services in Islamic concepts has two aspects: business orientation and worship orientation. Providing educational services that will provide the first appraisal is Allah SWT, and the following party who gives the judgment is human. Keywords: Educational Services, Thematic Interpretation

Abstract

Anti-bullying education is a strategic initiative to prevent and address intimidation in educational environments, particularly among the Moslem millennial generation who are vulnerable to the interplay of social dynamics and rapid technological developments. While previous studies have examined bullying from various perspectives—such as Islamic educational principles, self-control development, and cognitive-behavioral interventions—there is limited research integrating Islamic education values with Stoicism philosophy in the context of higher education. This study addresses that gap by exploring the implementation of anti-bullying education at the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and assessing the effectiveness of its integrated approach. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews with students, lecturers, and educational staff involved in anti-bullying programs. The findings reveal that combining Islamic ethical principles with Stoic concepts of self-discipline and resilience can foster a more inclusive and bullying-free campus culture. The study also highlights the role of technology and social media in both perpetuating and preventing bullying. Recommendations are provided for strengthening the character education curriculum, integrating moral philosophy into student development programs, and enhancing institutional policies to create a safer and more supportive academic environment.

Abstract

This article explores the quality assurance model developed by Armand V. Feigenbaum through the Total Quality Control (TQC) approach and analyzes its application within Islamic education management. The study uses a library research method by reviewing relevant literature on quality management and Islamic education. Feigenbaum emphasizes that quality is not solely the responsibility of top management but of every member within an organization. In the context of Islamic education, this perspective aligns with Islamic values that promote collaboration and collective responsibility. The findings indicate that the TQC model can be applied contextually in Islamic educational institutions by involving principals, teachers, administrative staff, students, and parents in building a culture of quality. The application of key TQC principles—such as continuous improvement, process-based evaluation, and inclusive participation—can enhance the institutional effectiveness and competitiveness of Islamic schools. When integrated with Islamic values such as trustworthiness (amanah), excellence (ihsan), and consultation (musyawarah), the Feigenbaum-based quality assurance system offers a sustainable framework for institutional development.
