Abstract

The 2013/revision Curriculum is a furture development of earlier curricula, in which the implementation of the teacher’s competence in matters of religious instruction is imperative. Focus of the qualitative research is how are the competency and problematics of teacher’s implementing the 2013/revision curriculum of Catholic Religious instruction at the schools in the South Tanimbar District? The result of this investigation is being studied analticall in the context of Catholic Religion teacher’s competency and problematics wich occur when the 2013/revision curriculum of Catholic religious instruction is being implemented.

Abstract

Students who are depressed will have problem to concentrate to finish their studies. Depression is one of mood disorders due to intense sadness, hopeless and withdrawal from others which disrupts daily activities and behavior. The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the usefulness of Cognitive Therapy in dealing with depressed students. Cognitive therapy is a process of treatment to help client to correct his faulty belief and thinking that can impact on client‟s emotion and behavior. This study uses a qualitative method. The type of research used is a Case Study. The subjects were several students who showed symptoms of depression.

Abstract

This article is meant to explore issue of how is the performance of the School and Madrasah Assessors in carrying out their duties and functions for improving the quality of education? The results of the study emphasize that the assessors' professionalism and credibility have an effect on improving the quality of education. Professionalism of the Assessors indicates the aspects of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Whereas the Credibility of the Assessor emphasizes that the Assessor carries out his duties objectively based on guidelines or norms, so that the school / madrasah obtains the actual level of eligibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara kritis relasi guru dan peserta didik dalam perspektif teori Pierre Bourdieu tentang kekerasan simbolik. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mengamati secara langsung perilaku guru dan peserta didik dalam berelasi dan berinteraksi di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri  8 Saumlaki, Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar, Ambon. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik snowball. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa melalui teknik analisis secara deskriptif ditemukan bahwa bahwa dalam relasi guru dan siswa terkandung kekerasan simbolik yang tidak disadari karena minimnya pemahaman dan kesadaran guru dan siswa serta adanya ketidaksetaraan kuasa simbolik. Maka perlu strategi untuk mewujudkan sekolah yang bebas dari kekerasan simbolik. Rekomendasi penelitian, adanya kebijakan sekolah yang menekankan budaya sekolah yang lebih dialogis tanpa ada unsur kekerasan simbolik. Guru hendaknya mengembangkan pemahaman dan kesadaran yang obyektif mengenai kekerasan simbolik dan adanya pengakuan objektif melalui habitus. Peserta didik sebaiknya bersikap kritis terhadap perilaku guru yang mengandung kekerasan simbolik dan berani menyampaikan kepada guru.

Abstract

This research is a library research that aims to analyze the implications of active learning principles forteachers and students in learning Catholic Religious Education. The research method used is descriptive research with library research studies (library research). In this study, the author usesdescriptive research with more emphasis on the strength of the analysis of available sources and data by relying on theories and concepts to be interpreted and described which leads to the focus of thediscussion. The results of the study found that the implications of the principle of active learning in PAK learning require teachers to design learning that activates students, frees students from excessive dependence on teachers, and teachers need to assess learning processes and outcomes. Likewise,students are required to actively form knowledge about themselves, the Person of Jesus Christ, theChurch and Society. Students need to actively build their attitudes and skills in implementing their faith knowledge. Abstract

This study aims to examine the increase in motivation and learning achievement through the use of audio-visualmedia in learning Catholic religious education in class VIIB students at Ambon Catholic Middle School. This research is very relevant to improving the quality of learning. The focus of this Classroom Action Research Action research is to find out how to increase motivation and learning achievement through the use of audio- visual media in learning Catholic religious education in class VIIB students at Ambon Catholic Middle School. The data collection technique used in this study was by using tests and observations from each cycle which were then analyzed descriptively quantitatively using percentage (%) and qualitative analysis techniques. Based on data analysis it was found that the use of audio-visual learning media became a learning medium that could increase learning motivation and learning achievement in learning Catholic Religious Education for class VIIb students of Ambon Catholic Middle School.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the linearity of the Learning Plan component of the Catholic Religious Education. This research is the most relevant study in relation to the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers in organizing learning at the Xaverius College School of Ambon. The focus of this qualitative research is to determine the linearity of the learning component of Catholic Religious Education in Xaverius College School of Ambon. The data collection technique used in this research is to use documentation study which is then analyzed in terms of completeness and systematic, clarity of the content of the learning components and the linearity of the learning components.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the implementation of learning supervision techniques with the functions and principles of learning supervision at SD Xaverius A1 Ambon. This research is very relevant to improving the quality of learning supervision. The focus of this qualitative research is to determine the relationship between the implementation of learning supervision techniques with the functions and principles of learning supervision at SD Xaverius A1 Ambon. The data collection technique used in this research is by using interviews and documentation studies which are then analyzed from the perspective of the object of study. The results of the study confirm that the implementation of the use of learning supervision techniques in SD Xaverius A1 is very closely related to the functions and principles of learning supervision.
