Abstract

The capital market in Indonesia has experienced quite good growth. This is indicated by the increase in average stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, where one of the sub-sectors that have high purchasing power is pharmaceutical companies. This condition is inseparable from the current economic situation in Indonesia. One of the government's efforts in dealing with economic problems is to suppress the inflation rate and increase the rupiah exchange rate. This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and exchange rates on the stock price index of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. The methods and analysis used were classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing which consisted of t test, f test, and coefficient of determination. The results obtained after data analysis showed that partially the inflation had no effect on the stock price index, while the exchange rate had an effect on the stock price index. Simultaneously the inflation and exchange rate affected the stock price index.

Abstract

The cosmetics and household goods sub-sector are industries that are fast and full of changes. These changes can be in the form of trends, types of products and also consumer profiles. The increase in the growth of the cosmetics industry by 20% in 2017 has an impact on increasing sales. Thus, production costs reduction needs to be done, so that it has a good impact on net income. Promotion is also needed so that the product is known by the wider community. Promotional costs used are also important to increase company profits. This study employed a quantitative approach using secondary data. The sample used was 6 companies in the cosmetics and household goods sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The research instrument used was documentation. The results obtained are (1) production costs have a significant effect on net income with a significance result of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) promotion costs have no significant effect on net income with a significance result of 0.498 > 0.05; and (3) simultaneously production costs and promotion costs have an effect on net income with a significance result of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi mendorong inovasi digital pada sektor keuangan, terutama pada penggunaan mobile banking yaitu peralihan sistem pembayaran tunai menjadi non tunai (cashless). Peralihan ini mendorong perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat secara digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh digital lifestyle (literasi keuangan, gaya hidup, dan penggunaan transaksi digital) terhadap perilaku konsumtif gen-z. Penelitian kuantitaif ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan kriteria purposive sampling pada mahasiswa yang menggunakan mobile banking berjumlah 102 responden. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif gen-z, sedangkan penggunaan transaksi digital tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif gen-z. Secara bersamaan, literasi keuangan, gaya hidup dan penggunaan transaksi digital mempengaruhi perilaku konsumtif gen-z. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara parsial literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif gen-z, sedangkan penggunaan transaksi digital tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif gen-z. Serta secara simultan, literasi keuangan, gaya hidup, dan penggunaan transaksi digital memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif gen-z.

Abstract

Kinerja keuangan merupakan sebuah hasil dari pencapaian manajemen perusahaan dalam periode tertentu terhadap pengelolaan aset perusahaan secara efektif. Dalam praktiknya, kinerja keuangan dapat diukur menggunakan Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), dan Earnings per Share (EPS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan membandingkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan pasca merger dan akuisisi, dengan menggunakan berbagai indikator keuangan sebagai alat ukur. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas dan uji paired sampel t-test untuk membandingkan kinerja keuangan sebelum dan sesudah merger dan akuisisi. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan perusahaan yang melakukan merger dan akuisisi selama periode yang telah ditentukan. Menunjukan p-value untuk ROA = 0,576 untuk ROE = 0,433 dan EPS = 0,674. Semua hasil melebihi p-value 0,05 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan pada ROA, ROE dan EPS sebelum maupun setelah merger dan akuisisi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada ROA, ROE dan EPS sebelum dan setelah merger maupun akuisisi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women's representation on the board of directors on the financial performance of companies in the Indonesian health sector. Based on agency theory and previous literature, this study focuses on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the healthcare supplies & distributions, healthcare providers, and pharmaceuticals sub-sectors during the 2018-2022 period. Using the multiple linear regression method using EViews 13, the research results show that the proportion of women on the board of directors and female president directors do not have a significant influence on the company's financial performance, as measured through the liquidity index. These findings indicate that although there is an increase in the number of women in leadership positions, their contribution to the financial performance of companies in the health sector is not yet optimal. This supports the results of previous study which shows that the relationship between the presence of women on the board of directors and company performance can vary depending on the regulatory context, economic stability, and organizational culture in developing countries such as Indonesia.

Abstract

A company's dedication to sustainable financial development through consideration of social obligations is known as social responsibility. Social and environmental responsibility has become a defining feature of overall business performance evaluation in many foreign countries. Many factors, such as hiring power, solvency, and agency size, have been shown to impact social responsibility disclosure. This study attempts to determine how profitability and solvency influence the disclosure of social and environmental obligations, which is governed by organizational size. The use of secondary data in economic reports is examined quantitatively in this study. The sample for this research was the banking subsector, totaling 45 emitens selected using a purposive sampling technique. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that profitability influences TJSL disclosure. Solvency has no effect on TJSL disclosure. Profitability and solvency partially moderated by company size have no effect on TJSL disclosure. Simultaneously, profitability and solvency influence TJSL disclosure. However, profitability and solvency, which are moderated by company size, have no effect on TJSL disclosure.

Abstract

The banking sector in Indonesia is undergoing substantial growth, with mobile banking services emerging as a key innovation. BRImo, a service provided by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, enables users to access banking services remotely, reducing the need for teller or customer service assistance. This study aims to examine the impact of trust, features, convenience, and safety on Generation-Z's decision to adopt mobile banking. A quantitative approach was employed, with primary data collected via questionnaires. The sample comprised 100 students from the top five universities in Yogyakarta, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 25. The findings reveal that trust, features, convenience, and safety significantly influence Generation-Z's decision to use mobile banking, both individually and collectively. The study concludes that each of these factors—trust, features, convenience, and safety—has a significant partial effect, while their combined influence is also substantial in shaping Generation-Z’s decision to adopt mobile banking services.

Abstract

Saat ini persaingan usaha semakin ketat, tak terkecuali usaha yang dimulai dari kecil dan diinisiasi untuk mensejahterakan kaum tertentu seperti kaum buruh perempuan paperbag di Trini Karya. Trini Karya diinisiasi dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi ketimpangan ekonomi kaum buruh paperbag di pinggiran Kota Yogyakarta. Saat ini Trini Karya memasuki usia delapan tahun menjalankan usaha paperbag. Produk Trini Karya telah memasuki pasar lokal di Yogyakarta seperti menyuplai kemasan berbahan kertas di UMKM Yogyakarta: Bakpia Tugu, Batik Adhinata, dsb, dan luar Yogyakarta UMKM didaerah kalimantan dan Madura. Namun pada pejalanananya, pesaing usaha paperbag semakin menjamur, sehingga Trini Karya perlu meng-upgrade diri untuk tetap eksis dan memenangkan daya saing pasar. Berdasarkan hasil survey yang telah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa produk karya perlu untuk membuat varian produk lain agar produknya lebih menarik, peningkatan mutu atau kualitas produknya, serta perlu adanya usaha lebih untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Trini Karya. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dengan tahapan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, mendesain program pelatihan, melaksanakan program pelatihan, serta evaluasi capaian. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh anggota Trini Karya dapat membuat diversifikasi produk berupa hiasan dinding berbahan kertas, penjagaan kualitas atau mutu produk, serta peningkatan penjualan produk melakui varian produk dan mutu produk yang lebih baik lagi. Berdasarkan evaluasi atas seluruh rangkaian kegiatan program pelatihan pada Trini Karya dapat disimpulkan bahwa rangkaian kegiatan program pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi untuk Trini Karya.
