Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a needed issue for employee at Shipyard Industry in Batam. This is due to termination of employment in the shipyard industry in Batam. The purpose of this study is to conduct a study to determine the effects of organization culture and motivation on entrepreneurship employees. This study used 150 employees at Shipyard Industry in Batam. The results show that organization culture has a significant and positive effect on entrepreneurship employees by 0.345. Motivation also has a significant and positive effect on entrepreneurship employees by 0.685. The implication of the results of this study is expected to create new entrepreneurs and new jobs when there is a termination of employment in the shipyard industry in Batam.

Abstract

Pesantren is the oldest Islamic education institution in Indonesia and even in the world. The pesantren has become a very rapidly developing religious education institution. Employee engagement in pesantren is very rarely studied in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of prophetic leadership and organizational culture on employee engagement in Sufism-based Islamic boarding schools. This study used 230 employees in sufism-based islamic boarding schools. The results show that prophetic leadership has a significant and positive effect on employee engagement. Organizational culture also has a significant and positive effect on employee engagement. The implication of this study shows that prophetic leadership has a great influence on employee engagement in sufism based Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Organizational commitment can be seen from various aspects related as individuals to the organization based on salary, social status and preferences for their work. This study aims to find causal relationships between variables (work motivation, perceived coworker support on organizational commitment). This study used 158 employee at HRD & Management Agency in Indonesia. The results show that work motivation has a significant and positive effect on organizational commitment by 0.462. Perceived coworker support also has a significant and positive effect on organizational commitment by 0.387. HRD & Management Agency in Indonesia must provide work motivation to employees because it has a greater influence than perceived coworker support on increasing organizational commitment.

Abstract

Employees at Indonesian ports need support from the organization to be able to make quick and right decisions. Organizational justice in this study in terms of distributive justice and procedural justice. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of distributive justice and procedural justice on perceived organizational support. This study used 214 employees at Indonesian Ports. The results show that distributive justice has a significant and positive impact on perceived organizational support. Procedural justice also has a significant and positive effect on perceived organizational support. The implication of this research is for the port industry to continue to pay attention for perceived organizational support by considering distributive justice because it has the most influence.
