Abstrak Lembaga Sertifikasi Kompetensi Tata Rias Pengantin (LSK-TRP) berperan dalam meningkatkan mutu dan profesionalisme perias pengantin tradisional, namun menghadapi tantangan eksternal berupa rendahnya pemahaman pengantin tradisional (5%), rendahnya jumlah peserta uji kompetensi (30,5%), rendahnya kebutuhan sertifikat di dunia industri, serta rendahnya minat pelatihan, disertai kelemahan internal berupa ketergantungan pada Program PKK dan rendahnya relevansi konten Instagram sebagai sarana edukasi. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan keterampilan fotografi media sosial, sehingga dilaksanakan Pelatihan Beautyshoot dengan pendekatan participatory photography methods untuk mengoptimalkan foto sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman nyata. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu inisiasi berupa pemaparan pentingnya media sosial, kualitas gambar, dan narasi visual- orientasi konsep melalui penjelasan teknis pencahayaan, sudut, dan komposisi- pelaksanaan berupa praktik pengambilan gambar dengan model dan backdrop- analisis kesesuaian hasil foto dengan narasi- serta diseminasi melalui publikasi karya di media sosial dan forum internal LSK-TRP. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan fotografi peserta, penguatan dokumentasi keunikan pengantin tradisional, serta optimalisasi media sosial sebagai ruang pembelajaran, promosi, dan pemberdayaan. Abstract The Professional Certification Institute for Traditional Bridal Makeup (LSK-TRP) plays a significant role in enhancing the quality and professionalism of traditional bridal makeup artists. However, it faces several external challenges, including limited public understanding of traditional bridal makeup (5%), a low number of competency test participants (30.5%), minimal demand for certification within the industry, and limited interest in training programs. These are compounded by internal weaknesses such as dependence on the PKK Program and the limited relevance of Instagram content as an educational medium. A SWOT analysis indicates the need to strengthen social media photography skills; therefore, a beauty-shoot training program was implemented using participatory photography methods to optimize photography as an experiential learning medium. The program was conducted through five stages: (1) initiation, consisting of raising awareness of the importance of social media, image quality, and visual narratives; (2) conceptual orientation, including technical explanations of lighting, angles, and composition; (3) implementation, involving hands-on practice with models and backdrops; (4) analysis, evaluating the alignment between photographs and narratives; and (5) dissemination, through the publication of works on social media and internal LSK-TRP forums. The results demonstrate an improvement in participants’ photography skills, strengthened documentation of the uniqueness of traditional bridal makeup, and the optimization of social media as a platform for learning, promotion, and empowerment.
