Abstract

PT Union Perkasa Buana (UPB) is a company that provides coal mining services that specifically provides coal transportation and sales services. In order to support its business activities PT UPB requires a port for its operational activities, but the nearest port cannot support its business activities so it requires the construction of a special terminal. Special Terminals are port facilities that are outside the Working Environment and Interests of the nearest port. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of PT Union Perkasa Buana's special terminal development plan. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the analysis related to terminal facilities, depth, dock specifications, and ships that will dock / moor show that it does not interfere with the shipping channel and is feasible for operations in supporting the business activities of PT Union Perkasa Buana's Coal Transportation and Sales, with several aspects such as security and safety aspects of shipping port aspects

Abstract

Ports are key infrastructure in maritime trade and transportation activities that play a vital role in facilitating the flow of goods and ships and in supporting economic growth and regional prosperity. PT. X, as a shipyard company, has a strategic interest in ensuring complete and efficient port facilities to support its operations. This study aims to analyze the completeness of port facilities at PT. X with the aim of increasing operational efficiency and improving overall port performance. This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. Primary data were obtained through direct observation at PT. X and interviews with employees of the port facilities and the infrastructure department. While secondary data were obtained through literature studies from related articles, journals, and books. The results of the analysis show that PT. X has various important facilities such as docks, workshops, warehouses, offices, and functional facilities. Although most of the facilities are in good condition and have been utilized, some facilities are damaged or in poor condition that require further maintenance. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of port facility analysis in improving operational efficiency and overall port performance and provides recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance. Thus, the port can be more effective in supporting Port Operations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aktivitas bongkar muat barang curah kering berupa gandum di Terminal Untuk Kepentingan Sendiri (TUKS) PT XYZ, dengan fokus pada penerapan stowage plan dan discharge sequence dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pihak manajemen pelabuhan, serta studi dokumen teknis seperti stowage plan dan discharge sequence. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bongkar muat di Jetty B dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui enam tahapan discharge yang memperhatikan keseimbangan kapal, kapasitas grain unloader, serta kondisi ballast kapal. Dokumen stowage plan mengatur distribusi muatan berdasarkan pelabuhan tujuan dan jenis produk untuk mencegah kontaminasi antar produk serta memastikan kelancaran pembongkaran. Fasilitas dermaga seperti grain unloader, conveyor system, dan silo penyimpanan juga berperan penting dalam mendukung alur distribusi tanpa hambatan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara perencanaan muatan dan kesiapan fasilitas pelabuhan dalam menunjang kecepatan, akurasi, dan keamanan proses bongkar muat barang curah kering.

Abstract

This study was motivated by students' learning outcomes that did not meet the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). The learning of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education is still conducted conventionally, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes and low student enthusiasm during lessons. This research aims to measure the effectiveness of using YouTube video media to improve students' learning outcomes. The research employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation using test sheets, observation sheets, and documentation sheets. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results indicate that the use of YouTube media consists of two stages: design and implementation. The design stage includes creating educational videos, uploading the videos to the YouTube application, and explaining the steps for using the media. The implementation stage occurs during the learning process, including opening activities, the core activities (using YouTube media), and closing activities. The use of YouTube media during learning runs smoothly. The analysis of student learning outcomes in the experimental class showed an average pretest score of 5.429 and a posttest score of 7.571, while the control class had a pretest score of 5.200 and a posttest score of 6.257. The effectiveness of YouTube media on students' learning outcomes was 20%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan Efektivitas metode outdoor study terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di SDN 67 Rappokalling. Dengan masalah penelitian “Bagaimana gambaran dan pengarauh Metode outdoor study Terhadap Hail Belajaar IPA Siswa Kelas III di SDN 67 Rappokalling Kota Makassar?” Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk pretest postetst kontrol grub design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 67 Rappokalling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi langsung, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data tes/uji-T dimana data yang terkumpulakan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas menggunakan SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang menerapkan metode outdoor study berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Dalam pengumpulatan data, penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode outdoor study dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Hal tersebut dibuktikan pada tabel uji-t (Independent Sample Test) dengan peroleh nilai signifikansi 0.006< 0.05 yang berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima atau thitung > ttabel (13,09 > 2.131).

Abstract

Pelabuhan Bakauheni merupakan sebuah pelabuhan utama yang berada di Provinsi Lampung. Pelabuhan ini menjadi salah satu gerbang utama menuju Pulau Sumatera dengan Pulau Jawa via Selat Sunda. Pelabuhan Bakauheni memiliki peran penting dalam menghubungkan lalu lintas antara kedua pulau tersebut. Pentingnya peran pelabuhan bagi sistem transportasi mewajibkan seluruh pelabuhan untuk memiliki Rencana Induk Pelabuhan (RIP) yaitu fasilitas dasar atau infrastruktur pelabuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dalam mengolah data serta menganalisis kelayakan fasilitas perairan yang tersedia di Pelabuhan Bakauheni dengan standar yang telah ditegaskan oleh Kementerian Perhubungan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar fasilitas perairan pelabuhan Bakauheni sudah memadai, akan tetapi terdapat fasilitas perairan yang kurang memadai sebesar 0,17% yaitu pada fasilitas kolam putar.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia continues to face challenges in developing students' Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 on quality education, which requires new strategies such as Dynamic Problem Solving (DPS) and innovative assessment tools to improve critical and analytical reasoning. This study aims to measure the DPS strategy and innovative assessment tools in improving students' HOTS  in physics learning. This research method uses a quasi-experiment with a posttest-only control group design. This study involved 120 high school students from four regencies/cities in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data on the effectiveness of the DPS strategy were collected and analyzed using an independent t-test, and data on innovative assessment tools were collected and analyzed through validity and reliability tests. The results of the HOTS test of students after participating in physics learning using the DPS strategy and innovative assessment tools showed that the experimental group was better than the control group. This study concludes that implementing the DPS strategy and innovative assessment tools effectively improves high school students' HOTS through physics learning. This research has an impact in encouraging critical and analytical thinking in students to solve real problems. In addition, this research also contributes to being a reliable and robust new pedagogical approach in physics learning under the demands of 21st century education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Borisallo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan prosedur penelitian observasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Inpres Borisallo sebanyak 15 orang. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest 48,13 dikategorikan rendah dan belum tuntas sedangkan setelah penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada saat posttest nlai rata-ratanya dikategorikan tinggi dan tuntas yaitu 86,60. Pada hasil uji N-Gain nilai rata-rata siswa dikategorikan tinggi yaitu 0,73 dari N-Gain > 0,7. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS materi sistem pernapasan dan sistem pencernaan manusia kelas V di SD Inpres Borisallo.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of library utilization through digital literacy and its influence on students’ learning outcomes in Al-Qur’an and Hadith among seventh-grade MTs students in Barru Regency. Specifically, the study seeks to analyze the use of the library by seventh-grade students at MTs DDI Takkalasi, Barru Regency, and to investigate the optimization of the library through digital literacy in relation to students’ learning outcomes in Al-Qur’an and Hadith. The research employed an associative quantitative method, allowing data collection in numerical form and statistical analysis to examine the relationship between variables. A causal research approach was used, involving a sample of 133 students. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 24. The results show that the use of the library by seventh-grade students at MTs DDI Takkalasi, Barru Regency, serves as a learning facility that includes reading textbooks, expanding religious knowledge, and engaging in group study activities. The availability of a comfortable and conducive library environment enables students to manage their study time effectively. Students’ digital literacy skills support effective library utilization, allowing them to access, select, and comprehend information from digital sources independently. As a result, the library becomes an integral part of the learning process and the development of competencies in Al-Qur’an and Hadith. The optimization of the library through digital literacy has been proven to enhance the quality of learning and learning outcomes, as students can access various references, select relevant information, and understand the material more deeply. Moreover, digital literacy encourages independent learning and critical thinking skills, enabling students to connect new information with prior knowledge and thereby strengthen their understanding and mastery of Al-Qur’an and Hadith materials.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Quizizz-based student worksheets on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. This is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design. The independent variable in this study is the use of Quizizz-based student worksheets, while the dependent variable is learning outcomes in Natural Sciences. The study population comprises all fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Pannampu 3, with a sample of 44 students selected using Cluster Random Sampling, where the experimental and control groups were randomly assigned from the entire fourth-grade class. The data collection techniques used included tests (pretest and posttest) consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions, teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation that had passed instrument validation. The data in this study were analyzed using instrument validation techniques, descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistics with hypothesis testing. The results indicate that the use of Quizizz-based Student Worksheets has an effect on the IPAS learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Pannampu 3. This is evidenced by the control group’s posttest average score of only 63.18, whereas the experimental group’s posttest average score reached 85.91. Based on the results of the independent samples t-test, the significance value (two-tailed) under the assumption of equal variances was < 0.001, which is far smaller than the significance level of 0.05; in other words, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted, meaning that the use of Quizizz-based Student Worksheets has an effect on the IPAS learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Pannampu 3.
