Abstract

Recently, the Government of Indonesia has revoked the status of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Even so, the pandemic event has sparked critical questions, “how can the city government prepare itself if in the future it is faced with a similar event? "Of course an analysis is needed to find out what factors have the most influence on the socio-economic vulnerability of the community to the Covid 19 pandemic and an overview of which locations are socially and economically vulnerable. With this analysis, the government can be better prepared when faced with similar events in the future.This study aims to determine the level of socio-economic vulnerability of the people in Central Semarang District to the Covid 19 Pandemic. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. Data obtained through observation, questionnaires and documentation studies. Data processing is carried out with the help of SPSS and Geographical Information System (GIS) programs. From the analysis that has been carried out, information is obtained that there are two dominant factors that influence the socio-economic vulnerability of the people in Central Semarang District, namely: the resilience factor and the social adaptation factor. In addition, information was also obtained that most of the villages in Central Semarang District had a relatively high level of socio-economic vulnerability, both in terms of resilience and adaptation factors.

Abstract

Aktifitas dan perilaku masyarakat dapat menghasilkan limbah yang akan semakin lama bisa menimbulkan masalah pencemaran lingkungan. Dari permasalahan ini perlu dipikirkan solusi untuk memanfaatkan limbah tersebut supaya mempunyai nilai yang berguna. Salah satu limbah yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan masyarakat adalah ampas teh. Batu bata merah merupakan bahan material yang paling banyak dipakai sebagai dinding rumah. Batu bata merah digunakan sebagai alternatif utama karena tahan terhadap pengaruh perubahan cuaca dan tahan terhadap api. Batu bata merah biasanya dalam proses pembuatannya dengan cara tradisional dan cetak pabrikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ampas teh terhadap sifat mekanis batu bata merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan benda uji batu bata merah berupa kubus berukuran 5cm x 5cm x 5cm. Tanah lempung untuk membuat benda uji diambil dari bantaran sungai Penggaron. Bahan tambahan ampas teh berupa serbuk basah. Benda uji dengan prosentase ampas teh 10%, 15%, dan 20%. Setiap variasi penambahan berjumlah 10 benda uji yang berbeda. Hasil pengujian pada bata normal nilai kuat tekan sebesar 51,16 kg/cm2, pada penambahan ampas teh 10% nilai kuat tekan sebesar 49,81 kg/cm2, pada penambahan ampas teh 15% nilai kuat tekan sebesar 54,41 kg/cm2 dan pada penambahan ampas teh 20% nilai kuat tekan sebesar 51,86 kg/cm2.
