Abstract

Industri pembuatan genteng merupakan salah satu mata pencaharian masyarakat Desa Ngembalrejo, hampir sebagian besar masyarakat di desa ini bekerja sebagai pembuat genteng. Hingga menjadi ciri khas bagi desa Ngembarejo sendiri yang terkenal dengan desa pembuat genteng dengan kualitas yang bagus. Pembuatan genteng ini sebenarnya sudah ada di daerah ini cukup lama, dapat di katakan warisan para leluhur. Para pembuat genteng ini selalu mengutamakan kualitas dari genteng yang mereka buat, hal ini terbukti dengan mereka masih menggunakan pembakaran secara manual meskipun saat ini perkembangan teknologi sudah sangat canggih. Tak lepas dari itu, ada pula dampak negatif yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar tempat pembuatan genteng. Asap dari pembakaran genteng yang sampai saat ini belum dapat diatasi, asap tebal hitam dan pekat menjadi pemandangan setiap hari bagi masyarakat desa Ngembalrejo. Keadaan ini menjadikan menurunnya kualitas udara di Desa Ngembalrejo, namun situasi ini belum juga dapat membuat masyarakat sadar akan pencemaran udara yang terjadi. Mereka tetap menjalankan kehidupan mereka dengan baik-baik saja, padahal tanpa sadar mereka menghirup udara yang tidak sehat setiap harinya.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out what phonological interference is used by Indonesian Language Education Study Program students in narrative texts, what factors cause Kerinci language interference in Indonesian, and how phonological interference is used by students in narrative texts based on a gender perspective. It was qualitative with a descriptive method. The research informants were 23 STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh students. In collecting data, the researchers used document studies and interviews. In addition, the data analysis techniques consist of 3 ways: (1) collecting data, (2) reducing data, and (3) concluding. The results showed phonological interference in 13 consonant and 11 vowel change data. The interference based on a gender perspective found that male students made fewer errors in writing narratives than female students. Furthermore, from the interview results, four factors caused Kerinci language phonological interference in Indonesian in student narrative texts: bilingual or multilingual speakers of words and languages; geographical influence of the Kerinci area; the factor of the large number of literary works from the Kerinci area; and the popularity of using Kerinci as the first language of students and regional communities in general.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the paragraph-writing skills of the first-semester students at STIFARM Padang before and after implementing the PBL-Based TAI method and analyze the influence of implementing the PBL-based TAI method on the paragraph-writing skills of the first-semester students at STIFARM Padang. This research was quantitative with a descriptive-analytical approach. The population in this research was 210 students of all the first-semester students of STIFARM Padang in the 2023-2024 academic year. Meanwhile, the sample was 60 students of class I2 STIFARM Padang. The instrument used in this research was a performance test. The results showed that first, the persuasive paragraph-writing skills of the first-semester students at STIFARM Padang before the PBL-based TAI method was applied were at a "Enough" qualification (60.09), and after implementing the PBL-based TAI method was in the "Good" qualification (78.98). Furthermore, there is an influence of the PBL-based TAI method on the paragraph-writing skills of the first-semester students at STIFARM Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami perspektif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media AI dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 375 orang siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh dan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampel acak, jumlah sampel 193 diperoleh dengan teknik Slovin. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian adalah mayoritas siswa menunjukkan tingkat keakraban yang tinggi dengan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA. Mereka menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik tentang konsep AI, serta memiliki pengalaman positif dalam menggunakan aplikasi atau alat berbasis AI. Siswa juga menunjukkan optimisme yang tinggi terhadap manfaat AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, percaya bahwa AI dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, efektivitas, keterlibatan, kepercayaan diri, dan pencapaian akademik mereka dalam mata pelajaran tersebut. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih belum optimal, dengan adopsi teknologi ini masih rendah. Terdapat kekhawatiran yang signifikan di antara siswa terkait potensi risiko AI, seperti ketergantungan berlebihan pada teknologi, kesenjangan pendidikan, masalah privasi, dan impersonalitas dalam pembelajaran.AbstractThis study aims to understand students' perspectives on the utilization of AI media in Indonesian language learning at the high school level. The method used in this research is quantitative, the population in this study were 375 students in SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh and the sample was determined by random sample technique, the sample size was 193 obtained by slovin technique. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques by using SPSS 26. The result of the study is that the majority of students show a high level of familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of Indonesian language learning at the high school level. They demonstrated a good understanding of AI concepts, as well as having positive experiences in using AI-based applications or tools. Students also show high optimism towards the benefits of AI in Indonesian language learning, believing that AI can improve their understanding, effectiveness, engagement, confidence and academic achievement in the subject. Despite this, the use of AI in Indonesian language learning is still not optimal, with adoption of this technology still low. There are significant concerns among students regarding the potential risks of AI, such as over-reliance on technology, educational gaps, privacy issues, and impersonality in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dampak integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa, dengan fokus pada peluang dan tantangan yang muncul. Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengumpulkan data dari pendidik dan peserta didik melalui survei, wawancara, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi seperti aplikasi seluler dan platform online meningkatkan keterlibatan dan literasi digital peserta didik. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya kesenjangan digital yang signifikan, yang disebabkan oleh infrastruktur yang tidak memadai dan kurangnya pelatihan profesional yang berkelanjutan untuk pendidik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya investasi dalam infrastruktur teknologi dan pengembangan profesional untuk mendukung pengajaran bahasa yang efektif.AbstractThe objective of this research is to explore the impact of technology integration in language education at Universitas Negeri Padang, focusing on the emerging opportunities and challenges. This study combines qualitative and quantitative methods to collect data from educators and learners through surveys, interviews, and group discussions. The results indicate that the use of technologies such as mobile apps and online platforms enhances student engagement and digital literacy. However, the study also reveals significant digital divides, caused by inadequate infrastructure and a lack of ongoing professional training for educators. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of investing in technology infrastructure and professional development to support effective language teaching.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the views of the progressivism school of philosophy towards the Independent Curriculum. The method used is a literature study with a hermeneutic approach to explain the reality that occurs through elements of interpretation and description. The concept of independent learning is in accordance with the educational philosophy of progressivism. Both emphasize the values of independence and freedom, and present a new perspective on the orientation of education in Indonesia. In practice, this creates a natural learning space and allows children to grow and develop according to their interests and talents. The goal of forming individuals with character can be realized, making education high-quality and providing tangible benefits for students in facing current developments.

Abstract

This article was written to (1) describe declarative sentence patterns for preschoolers aged 5-6 years. (2) describe the declarative imperative sentence patterns of preschool children aged 5-6 years. (3) to describe interrogative sentence patterns for preschool children aged 5-6 years. The source of this data is the speech of preschool children aged 5-6 years. Data were obtained using the observing method and supported by observation and recording techniques. The data obtained was transcribed into written language, identified, classified, and then conclusions were made. The findings of this research are the types of sentences and sentence patterns reviewed first from the declarative sentence forms of preschool children aged 5-6 years with patterns of reporting/providing information totaling 16 data. Second, imperative sentence forms of preschool children aged 5-6 years with ordering patterns total 14 data. Third, the form of interrogative sentences for preschool children aged 5-6 years with a barnya pattern totals 46 data

Abstract

This study aims to describe the following. First, how much is the contribution of reading interest to the reading ability of Semester I students of STIFARM Padang. Second, how much is the contribution of vocabulary mastery to the reading comprehension ability of Semester I Students of STIFARM Padang. Third, how much is the contribution of reading interest and vocabulary mastery together to the reading comprehension ability of Semester I students of STIFARM Padang. This correlational study took the population of Semester I STIFARM Padang students. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling technique so that 53 students were obtained as samples. The research instrument is in the form of questionnaires and tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study are three, (1) Reading interest gives a significant contribution of 33.9% to the ability to read comprehension because tcount > ttable or 5,110 > 1,684. (2) Vocabulary mastery gave a significant contribution of 35.3% to reading comprehension ability because tcount > ttable or 5.27 > 1,684. (3) Reading interest and vocabulary mastery together gave a significant contribution of 51.8% to reading comprehension ability because tcount > ttable or 26.87 > 3.18.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' interest in reading, describe the ability to identify the building blocks of students' poetry texts, and to describe the relationship between reading requests and the ability to identify elements of poetry texts for class VII SMP Negeri 40 Padang. In this study, there were 2 classes as the research sample for class VII.1 as many as 29 students and another class as a test class for class VII.2 questionnaires with 27 students. The sampling technique was carried out using the purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires and objective tests. The results of this study are three things. First, the reading interest of class VII students of SMP Negeri 40 Padang obtained an average score of 74.24 in the range of 66-75% on a scale of 10, with more than adequate qualifications (LdC). Second, the ability to identify the elements of poetry building for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 40 Padang obtained an average score of 82,34 in the range of values ​​of 75-85% on a scale of 10, with good qualifications (B). Third, there is a significant relationship between reading interest and the ability to identify elements of poetry building for students of VII SMP Negeri 40 Padang. This shows that reading interest affects students in identifying the building blocks of poetry. This can be seen from the test results which prove that tcount > from ttable, namely 5.40 > 1.70.

Abstract

This study explores the comparative implementation of cash and Murabahah financing methods in home purchases at Green Mutiara Housing, PT Graha Perwira Pratama, Banyumas Regency. Access to housing remains a challenge for low- to middle-income communities, prompting the need to evaluate payment alternatives that align with consumer needs and Islamic financial principles. A field research approach was adopted using qualitative descriptive-comparative methods. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation at the housing location. The focus was on the application procedures for both cash and credit purchase systems, particularly the Murabahah financing method used through Islamic banks. The findings show that cash purchases—both hard and installment-based—offer lower prices, quicker processing, and fewer administrative requirements. Credit purchases via Murabahah involve banks paying developers upfront, followed by consumer repayments under agreed profit margins. Buyers benefit from accessible financing without needing full payment upfront, although total costs are generally higher due to margin and longer payment periods. While both payment systems are functional and widely accepted, each has distinct financial and administrative implications. Cash payment offers simplicity and immediate ownership, while credit financing provides broader accessibility. The choice ultimately depends on buyer capacity and preference, with Murabahah offering an Islamic-compliant financing alternative.
