Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil survey dan observasi pada pemuda dan pemudi karang taruna yang ada di Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto ini, menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak dari mereka yang masih belum memiliki pekerjaan atau bisa dikatakan bahwa mereka belum belum bisa mendapatkan penghasilan. Salah satu factor yang berhasil kami himpun adalah dikarenakan masih kurangnya keterampilan yang mereka miliki. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh para pemuda dan pemudi karang taruna tidak pernah memperoleh bimbingan baik dari pendidikan formal ataupun dengan cara mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan yang dapat mengarahkan para pemuda pemudi karang taruna pada pengetahuan luas, khususnya yang berkenaan dengan photo editing. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, maka tim pelaksana PPM prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP Unipa Surabaya, akan melaksanakan Workshop photo editing dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi adobe photoshop. Kegiatan tersebut, mampu menambah referensi dan pengetahuan bagi pemuda karang taruna yang ada di Kecamatan Gondang terutama di bidang desain grafis khususnya photo editing. Setelah mengikuti workshop, para karang taruna yang dapat mengedit foto secara sederhana dan mengaplikasikannya dalam berbagai macam bentuk publikasi cetak seperti logo, pamflet, brosur, kartu nama, poster, buku, tata letak/layout majalah, desain iklan, undangan, cover majalah, dan lain sebagainya akan mampu mengembangkan jiwa entrepreneur dibidang photo editing, sehingga dapat dijadikan lapangan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Alasan penyebab sulitnya pemecahan masalah trigonometri oleh siswa SMK Pemesinan dapatditinjau dari faktor siswa dalam meyelesaikan pemecahan masalah trigometri. Sehingga pentinguntuk melakukan analisis kesalahan yang telah dilakukan oleh siswa dalam pemecahan masalahtrigometri tersebut. Adapun kesalahan yang dianalisis meliputi letak dan jenis serta faktorpenyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan pemecahan masalah trigometri.Masalah trigonometri khususnya dan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada umumnya.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 3 (tiga) SMK Jurusan Pemesinan yakni SMKN 1 Jetis Mojokerto,SMK Nada Mojokerto, dan SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwakesalahan yang dilakukan oleh Siswa SMK Pemesinan yang berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, rendahdan bergaya kognitif field dependent lebih banyak daripada Siswa SMK Pemesinan yangberkemampuan tinggi, sedang, rendah dan bergaya kognitif field independent ditinjau dari letakdan jenis kesalahannya. Sementara faktor penyebab terjadinya kesalahan yang dilakukan olehSiswa SMK Pemesinan baik yang berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, atupun rendah dan bergayakognitif field dependent ataupun field independent secara umum adalah faktor internal yangdiakibatkan oleh kemampuan intelektual, dan kondisi kognitif dari Subjek.

Abstract

Based on the researcher’s observation to students of mathematics education department ofUNIPA Surabaya, the material of graph theory taught in mathematics discrete course was adifficult course to be understood by the students coherently and deeply. To acknowledge the reasonthat caused the material of graph theory difficult to understand and to improve result of learningmathematics, was needed to conduct error analysis. The analyzed error covering the area and thetype as well as error-causing factor, was done by the students to complete graphic theory question.After recognizing the position and kind of error as well as the causing factor which was conductedby the students in completing the question of graph theory, we can determined its alternativesolution. The research type done by the researcher was descriptive. The research was done inUNIPA Surabaya. The core instrument in this research was the researcher itself, as the researcherwho planned, arranged, conducted, collected data, analyzes data, concluded and made theresearch report. The other instruments in this research were diagnostic test and interview manual.In this research, the data analysis technique was done through three stages, they are : datareduction, data presentation and conclusion. The error area done by the students of UNIPASurabaya of academic year 2010 to complete the problem of graph theory was in problem ofunderstanding, namely the inability to correlate the relation between information and problemsolving which has many misconception. The kinds of error done by the students of UNIPASurabaya of academic year 2010 to solve the graph theory were kind of principle error because itrelated to the error of understanding and implementing theorem as well as definition. The errorcausingfactors done by the students of UNIPA Surabaya of academic year 2010 to solve theproblem of graph theory generally was the lack of accuracy and not having the understanding oftheorems and definition to solve a problem. Based on the area, kinds, and factor caused the errorwhich was done by the students of UNIPA Surabaya of academic year 2010 to solve the problem ofgraph theory so that the alternative model of learning in which the researcher proposes is themodel of meta-cognitive learning.

Abstract

Professional development of teachers should be developed through skills in research and writing scientific articles. The majority of teachers have difficulty writing research results that meet standards. Thus, this service activity was carried out with the aim of strengthening the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Jetis Mojokerto in writing reports on the results of the research that had been carried out. The service is implemented in three stages, namely: (1) the planning phase; (2) training stage; (3) assessment of the sustainability of the program. Based on the community service activities carried out, he managed to open the horizons of the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Jetis Mojokerto, especially with regard to the writing of research reports. According to the results of the program evaluation, the majority of teachers up to 100% were very satisfied with the workshop activities carried out. These activities provide an overview of the procedures and procedures for writing good and correct research reports. Thus, the participants were very enthusiastic to participate in the activities presented during the workshop on research report writing. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the cooperative learning model of sending greetings and questions technique with conventional learning has an effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes on the material of rows and series. This type of research uses quantitative research and the method used is the experimental method. Class X Phase E3 and Phase E4 were used in the sample of this study. The test technique was used in the collection technique in this study, by analyzing through the t-test hypothesis, using the prerequisite test: normality test, and homogeneity test. From the prerequisite calculations it can be concluded that both data are normally distributed and vary equally, then proceed with hypothesis testing or t-test. Posttest results with row and sequence material, there is a significant difference. The test scores obtained by using the cooperative learning model of sending greetings and questions technique in the Phase E3 class averaged 86.83, while the test scores carried out with the conventional learning model in the Phase E4 class obtained an average of 78.19. Based on the results, sig. (two-way) 0.000 <0.05, it is concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes when the cooperative learning model of the greeting and question technique is applied to mathematics learning in the experimental class compared to applying conventional learning in the control class.

Abstract

Group homomorphism, a complex topic in the Algebra Structure 1 course at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya, requires high-level thinking, creativity, and the integration of ideas. Metacognition plays an important role in helping students have the problem-posing process, which includes understanding, translating, editing, and selecting information. This study aimed to analyze the metacognitive processes of students with low and high abilities in creating problems related to group homomorphism. The findings show that 83.33% of low-ability students operate at the tacit use level, where they do not consciously consider their decisions or thinking processes. In contrast, high-ability students obtained 100% of the reflective use level during the planning and monitoring stages, meaning that they have reflected thought processes before, during, and after problem-posing, while also identifying improvements and next steps. Furthermore, 100% of high-ability students achieve the strategic use level in the evaluation stage, showing their ability to consciously regulate their thought processes and apply targeted strategies to improve the accuracy of their evaluations when creating problems related to group homomorphism.

Abstract

Modul ajar adalah rancangan pembelajaran atau perangkat yang disusun berdasarkan penerpan kurikulum di satuan pendidikan, bertujuan guna mencapai standar kompetensi yang telah ditentukan. Terdapat hubungan yang erat antara Kurikulum dan pembelajaran, hal ini dikarenakan tujuan Kurikulum adalah untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Pada Kurikulum Merdeka, pendidik dituntut dapat lebih inovatif dan kreatif dalam merancang rencana pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar "Mathpreneur" berbasis kurikulum merdeka pada materi yang Aritmatika Sosial kelas VIII SMP. Modul ajar dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan metode pengembangan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Diperoleh modul ajar “Mathpreneur” yang peneliti kembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata Kunci: Modul ajar, Mathpreneur, Kemampuan Matematika, ADDIE, Kurikulum Merdeka

Abstract

Numeracy ability is the benchmark of education in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to describe students’ numeracy abilities based on their initial mathematical abilities, categorized as high, medium, and low. The subjects were three students who represented each level of initial mathematics ability, namely high, medium, and low of 5th grade A from SD Muhammadiyah 1 Menganti, Data were collected through tests, interviews, and documentation and were analyzed through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that students with high initial mathematical ability met all three numeracy indicators, those with medium initial ability met two indicators, and those with low initial ability met only one numeracy indicators.

Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang telah dilaksanakan tim mahasiswa dan dosen Pendidikan matematika di SMA Antartika sidoarjo terdapat 80% Guru belum memahami penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) secara maksimal untuk mendukung dalam penyusunan materi pembelajaran mereka. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dan kondisi saat ini maka Guru SMA Antartika Sidoarjo dituntut kreatif dalam pemanfaatan teknologi untuk pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan AI dalam penyusunan materi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PPM) yang dilakukan oleh tim mahasiswa dan dosen prodi pendidikan matematika fakultas keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya adalah memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan AI dalam penyusunan materi pembelajaran pada Guru SMA Antarti ka Sidoarjo. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PPM yang dilakukan Tim Dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Fakultas Keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya memiliki tiga tahapan yaitu tahap observasi di awal, tahap untuk perencanaan, dan tahap untuk sosialisasi. Hasil kegiatan PPM adalah peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang penggunaan AI yang ditunjukkan dengan 98% Guru SMA Antartika sidoarjo berhasil membuat materi pembelaran yang berkualitas, menarik, efektif, dan efisien.  berdasarkan hasil dari kegiatan PPM maka sangatlah penting adanya kegiatan serupa untuk meningkatkan adaptasi dan kompetensi Guru di era merdeka belajar dan perkembangan teknologi seperti saat ini.
