Abstract

Scientific literature plays a significant role in the academic requirements of colleges, encompassing various types such as papers, reports, journals, and scripts. However, the issue of plagiarism, including the copying and plagiarizing of others' work, remains prevalent in the creation of scientific papers. In particular, digital content plagiarism often involves copy-pasting and quoting from original documents. To address this, measuring the similarity of words between documents becomes essential. In Dhamayanti's research, the recommendation is to enhance the Rabin-Karp algorithm by utilizing a distinct method [1]. This study builds upon previous research employing a string-matching method. Instead of the conventional cosine method, the substitution method employed string-Karp techniques within the Rabin-Karp algorithm, resulting in improved similarity percentages. The manufacturing of the application adopts the string-matching method using the Rabin-Karp algorithm. The algorithm matches 5-gram word sequences converted into hash values, and the similarity percentage is determined based on matching hash values. The presence of identical words indicates similarity. The application is tested using six scientific writing documents from diverse sources with related titles. Through 15 test runs, the accuracy level reached 90%.

Abstract

Place naming of a local area is closely related to geographic elements. Local names can also be used as a cultural identity and natural condition of a region. Nglanggeran Ancient Volcano (AV) area has local name elements highly influenced by those conditions. It is an interesting study material where a three-dimensional (3D) model can contribute as a medium to collect the place naming traces (toponym) in this area through participatory mapping. Participatory mapping, usually using 2D models in the form of sketches or maps, will be a separate story in interactive 3D media usage resulting from the photogrammetry process. It is expected that the media be able to show the geographical appearance of the Nglanggeran A.V area more clearly, such as geomorphology, geology, vegetation, hydrology, and even local culture, and contribute unexplored information. The results of participatory mapping in toponym collection are expected to be a medium that organizes the place naming of a local area into a complete database, along with the origin of the place names. It is also proposed that the results of participatory mapping through the 3D model be a means of preserving local culture in the Nglanggeran A.V area, making it more familiar to local residents and tourists.

Abstract

Along with the increasing times and the more busyness of humans, drying problems often become a very troublesome problem because it is still conventional by using direct sunlight. For example, when the crackers are drying, rain falls when the workers are doing other work. Of course the workers will feel anxious if the crackers that have been dried in the sun are wet with rain and have to be redried, so this research proposes to help the workers drying the crackers. This research will discuss the workings of the rain sensor, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor and heat / temperature sensor for drying crackers with the Arduino Uno system. This study aims to make a prototype cracker drying device that can automatically open or close the protective tarp for the cracker drying rack when it rains or the sun's light intensity has darkened using the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The design of this application uses the method prototype and uses the DELPHI programming language by utilizing the Arduino IDE and using the Microsoft Access database. The results of this study were obtained in the form of an automatic cracker drying tool application that can detect weather conditions during drying well. This tool will help the drying process from the beginning of drying until the crackers are completely dry and ready to be marketed.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology and information, human needs are increasing. Especially now that the parking system has experienced rapid development with a level of security for vehicles. One of the important things is the parking problem, the parking problem where the parking lot is large enough but still not supported by an adequate system. The use of a manual parking system has now begun to shift now with an automatic parking system that is integrated with the database as part of the parking system. Barcode card is a code in the form of a line of black or rectangular lines. Each line of the rectangle has a different width. So in this study the barcode card is used as an ID for parking users or parking customers who replace the manual parking system. The parking system data collection starts with Barcode Card user parking which is invincible with the parking user database via Barcode Scan. In a parking system using a Barcode Card, parking users can see the hours of entry and exit of parking congestion. by simply scanning or pasting the Barcode Card on the HC-SR04 sensor. This parking system will work based on existing data on the RFID tag and RFID reader. The data from the RFID tag will read the RFID reader and be processed in the Raspberry pi and servo motor to open and close the bar, then the buzzer will sound after which the ultrasonic sensor closes and opens the bar when the motor passes the sensor. With the parking system using this Barcode Card can provide security, comfort in the parking area is more guaranteed, and the parking area is managed in an orderly manner.

Abstract

Porous paving is a type of paving that allows water from rainfall or other sources to seep through the paving, which can reduce runoff from a location and increase groundwater recharge. In this study, porous paving uses coarse aggregates measuring 5-10 mm, a water-cement factor of 0.4% and the addition of coal fly ash and volcanic ash. Testing includes density, water absorption, and compressive strength of porous paving with a mixture composition of coal fly ash and volcanic ash of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% tested at 28 days with 30 test objects. For the ratio of cement and coarse aggregate 1:4. The best compressive strength results were obtained by adding fly ash and volcanic ash 2.5%, namely 182,500 kg/cm2, 0% = 182,000 kg/cm2, 5% = 181,667 kg/cm2, 7.5% = 181,167 kg/cm2, and 10% = 180,667 kg/cm2. The smallest porosity Addition of fly ash and volcanic ash 2.5% = 1.47%, addition of 0% = 1.55%, 5% = 1.94%, 7.5% = 2.33% and 10% = 2.35%. The highest density when adding fly ash and volcanic ash is 2.5% = 1.04 gr/cm3, 5% = 1.03 gr/cm3, 7.5% = 1.03 gr/cm3, 0% = 1.03 gr/cm3 and 10% = 1.02 gr/cm3.

Abstract

Sensors in the internet of things (IoT) and wireless sensor networks (WSN) for various purposes often require recalibration. The datasheet that accompanies the sensor usually displays a table of sensor’s output with minimum, typical and maximum values. This means that there is a tolerance of the values that are still allowed by the manufacturer. For sensors with variable output voltage, it is usually displayed graphically. If the graph is not linear, curve fitting is needed to obtain the curve equation. In this research, curve fitting will be carried out using the least sum of squared errors method using a matrix. The curve equation resulting from curve fitting is needed for data processing or if it is needed to predict fixed variables if the independent variables are known. One of the sensors that has an output voltage curve that is not a straight line is the distance sensor from Sharp, the GP2Y0A02YK series. According to the datasheet, this sensor can be used to measure distances from 20 centimeters to 150 centimeters. The graph of the output voltage measuring distances from 20 cm to 150 cm is in the form of a curved curve. With calibration using curve fitting, it is hoped that the accuracy of sensor measurements and the processing of its output data will increase.

Abstract

This study explores how gender-inclusive leadership structures influence organizational performance, particularly employee productivity. It examines three dimensions: board gender diversity, the presence of female executives (e.g., CEO or board chair), and their interaction. Grounded in Resource-Based and Social Identity Theories, the research hypothesizes that (H1) board gender diversity positively affects productivity; (H2) female top leadership enhances productivity; and (H3) their interaction amplifies these effects.Using quantitative methods and data from publicly listed companies across various industries, the study controls for factors such as firm size, industry, and market conditions. The analysis reveals strong direct effects of board diversity and female leadership on productivity, while age, as a mediating variable, shows a negligible and slightly negative influence. These findings underscore the strategic value of inclusive leadership in fostering workforce performance and suggest that organizations should prioritize gender diversity and female representation in leadership to improve productivity outcomes.
