Abstract

Abstrak: Kelurahan Bener merupakan salah satu perkampungan yang berkembang di sekitar Kota Yogyakarta. Penamaan Bener tidak dapat lepas dari berdirinya kerajaan Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat yang dipimpin oleh Hamengku Buwono (HB) 1. Pembukaan hutan untuk mencari sumber mata air kebutuhan kraton menjadi latar belakang penamaan Bener dan nama daerah di sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencari latar belakang penamaan tersebut adalah snowballing sampling dengan mencari informasi dari tokoh sesepuh Bener. Melalui wawancara ini, dilakukan pemetaan partisipatori untuk menelusur peristiwa secara berurutan. Cerita dari para narasumber disusun menjadi cerita sejarah yang berurutan dan logis. Melalui proses ini, penggunaan peta mempermudah narasumber untuk menandai beberapa lokasi penting. Dari peristiwa tersebut, muncullah 18 nama kampung, dusun, desa, bahkan kecamatan, termasuk Bener itu sendiri. Tokoh yang muncul dari peristiwa tersebut adalah sosok Kyai Bener yang ternyata tidak banyak diketahui warga Kelurahan Bener. Survey singkat menunjukkan sedikit saja yang mengetahuinya, selebihnya masyarakat tidak tahu siapa itu Kiayi Bener. Oleh sebab itu, toponimi dapat dijadikan sebagai media pelestari budaya lokal. Melalui sebuah nama, cerita asal mula sebuah daerah dapat dijadikan warisan budaya yang patut untuk dilestarikan khususnya di Kelurahan Bener, Kecamatan Tegalrejo, Kota Yogyakarta.Abstract: Bener Village is one of the villages that has developed around the city of Yogyakarta. The naming of Bener cannot be separated from the establishment of the Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat kingdom which was led by Hamengku Buwono (HB) 1. Forest clearing to find water sources for the palace needs became the background for the naming of Bener and the names of the surrounding areas. The method used to find the background of the naming is snowballing sampling by seeking information from the elder figures of Bener. Through these interviews, participatory mapping was carried out to track events sequentially. The stories of the speakers are organized into sequential and logical historical stories. Through this process, the use of maps makes it easier for informants to mark several important locations. From this incident, 18 names emerged from the village, hamlet, village, even the district, including Bener itself. The figure who emerged from the incident was the figure of Kyai Bener, who was not widely known by the residents of Bener Village. A short survey shows that few people know about it, the rest people don't know who Kiayi Bener is. Therefore, toponymy can be used as a medium for preserving local culture. Abstract

Place naming of a local area is closely related to geographic elements. Local names can also be used as a cultural identity and natural condition of a region. Nglanggeran Ancient Volcano (AV) area has local name elements highly influenced by those conditions. It is an interesting study material where a three-dimensional (3D) model can contribute as a medium to collect the place naming traces (toponym) in this area through participatory mapping. Participatory mapping, usually using 2D models in the form of sketches or maps, will be a separate story in interactive 3D media usage resulting from the photogrammetry process. It is expected that the media be able to show the geographical appearance of the Nglanggeran A.V area more clearly, such as geomorphology, geology, vegetation, hydrology, and even local culture, and contribute unexplored information. The results of participatory mapping in toponym collection are expected to be a medium that organizes the place naming of a local area into a complete database, along with the origin of the place names. It is also proposed that the results of participatory mapping through the 3D model be a means of preserving local culture in the Nglanggeran A.V area, making it more familiar to local residents and tourists.

Abstract

One of the most influential media in conveying information is online media. Through this media, the wider community can get information quickly without being constrained by distance. An interesting area that is increasingly popular because of the role of online media is the Nglanggeran Ancient Volcano Nglanggeran A.V) Tourism Area. However, reviewing information from photos and videos is certainly not enough. For tourists, spatial (location)-based information is fundamental. With this spatial-based information, potential visitors can find interesting points in this tourism area. It is necessary to introduce a tourism-based geographic information system (WebGIS) for this area. Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group) of Nglanggeran Village, which young people dominate, was expected to be able to develop a tourism-based information system. Pokdarwis members had been introduced to WebGIS nglanggeran.gis.co.id, which was initiated before. Then, the Pokdarwis members were introduced and managed this WebGIS. The conclusion of these activities are 1). WebGIs are absolutely needed for the smart tourism village, 2). the need for easy-to-understand management of WebGIS, in managing this WebGIS, 3). the need for assistance periodically to keep updating important information in the Nglanggeran A.V area.

Abstract

Dalam pembuatan media informasi maupun edukasi berbasis audio visual, selain alur cerita, teknik editing menjadi bagian penting untuk dapat menyajikan video yang menarik. Informasi penting, terlebih yang  juga bersifat darurat harus disampaikan secara jelas. Video iklan layanan masyarakat merupakan sebuah informasi maupun edukasi yang dikemas secara singkat, jelas, padat  berupa audio dan visual yang melibatkan penglihatan maupun pendengaran secara bersamaan, sehingga terfokus dan dapat diterima dengan oleh otak. Pada penelitian ini, teknik editing frame freeze diterapkan untuk menarik perhatian audien, didukung dengan voice over untuk mempertegas pesan. Video iklan layanan masyarakat tentang ajakan mengurangi sampah plastik ini akan disebarluaskan melalui kanal internet berbagai sosial media berbasis audio visual. Dengan mengunakan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif dan metode penelitian RD, pada penelitian ini berfokus pada proses pembuatan mulai dari pra-produksi, produksi, hingga post-produksi. Adapun uji kelayakan video dari aspek konsep, ketepatan pemilihan genre, kualitas audio dan video, narasi dan grafis pendukung yang dikemas menjadi animasi 2 dimensi motion graphic oleh para ahli media. Dan sebelum dilakukan penyebaran secara luas video iklan layanan masyarakat akan diuji sajikan kepada siswa pelajar tingkat SMA yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler boardcasting dan mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh matakuliah multimedia.

Abstract

Over a period of 10 years, there has been an increase in the population in Bandar Lampung City which has caused changes in land cover. As a result, surface temperatures have increased, especially in urban areas. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the distribution and effect of changes in land cover on surface temperatures. Remote sensing methods were used to calculate the spatial distribution of surface temperatures and to calculate changes in the area of vegetation index values, built-up land indexes, and humidity indexes in Bandar Lampung City in 2013 and 2023. The results showed an increase in surface temperature of 1.92℃. In 2013, the average temperature was 25℃ and increased in 2023 to 26.92℃. Compared to 2013, the temperature distribution area (26-28℃) has expanded by around 8673.39 Ha spread throughout Bandar Lampung City. Based on the results of the coefficient correlation analysis, it is known that the increase in surface temperature is significantly due to changes in land cover, especially by the building index (NDBI), with a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.545 for 2013 and 0.5133 for 2023.

Abstract

Abstract:  The activity “Participatory Mapping of Grojogan Watu Purbo Tourism” aims to support the structuring and development of Grojogan Watu Purbo tourist destination to become a sustainable nature tourism. Grojogan Watu Purbo, which is located in Bangunrejo Hamlet, Merdikorejo Village, Sleman, has great natural potential, but still needs further structuring so that its attractiveness and management are optimal. This activity was carried out by the Geography Study Program Lecturer Team and 2022 students through several stages, namely: (1) education and socialization to the community about the importance of protecting the environment and sustainable tourism management, (2) mapping the area using drone technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and (3) making maps and tourism profile videos. Efforts to realize sustainable tourism in Grojogan Watu Purbo Tourism through education, socialization, and area mapping with drone technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) make a real contribution to the planning and management of tourist areas. Outputs in the form of maps, profile videos, and publications on social media not only function as a means of promotion, but also as a strategic tool in making decisions on area development. The resulting map helps managers in planning environmentally friendly infrastructure and as a basis for analyzing the impact of tourist visits. Abstrak: Kegiatan “Pemetaan Partisipatif Wisata Grojogan Watu Purbo” bertujuan untuk mendukung penataan dan pengembangan destinasi wisata Grojogan Watu Purbo agar menjadi wisata alam yang berkelanjutan. Grojogan Watu Purbo yang terletak di Dusun Bangunrejo, Desa Merdikorejo, Sleman, memiliki potensi alam yang besar, namun masih memerlukan penataan lebih lanjut agar daya tarik dan pengelolaannya optimal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh Tim Dosen Program Studi Geografi bersama mahasiswa angkatan 2022 melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu: (1) edukasi dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dan pengelolaan wisata secara berkelanjutan, (2) pemetaan wilayah menggunakan teknologi drone dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG), serta (3) pembuatan peta dan video profil wisata. Upaya mewujudkan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Wisata Grojogan Watu Purbo melalui edukasi, sosialisasi, dan pemetaan wilayah dengan teknologi drone serta Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan kawasan wisata. Luaran berupa peta, video profil, dan publikasi di media sosial tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana promosi, tetapi juga sebagai alat strategis dalam pengambilan keputusan pengembangan kawasan. Peta yang dihasilkan membantu pengelola dalam merencanakan infrastruktur yang ramah lingkungan serta sebagai dasar analisis dampak kunjungan wisatawan.

Abstract

Abstract:  Implementing distance learning as a new form of habit during the COVID-19 pandemic has raised several problems. The transition from conventional learning methods to distance learning has quickly resulted in learning media not being fully prepared. This problem can result in a lack of understanding of the subject matter of the learning material among students. The dynamics of learning issues during the pandemic allow the author to introduce internet-based GIS as a distance learning medium for students majoring in forestry at SMK Widya Nusantara Maros. The activity aims to introduce the geographic information system (internet-based GIS) as a learning medium for vocational high school students.  The method of the activity is training. The activity is divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. ArcGIS Online was chosen as a distance learning medium. The activity results show that internet-based GIS can be used as an alternative to achieve learning outcomes in distance learning.Abstrak: Penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh sebagai bentuk kebiasaan baru saat pandemi Covid-19 menimbulkan beberapa persoalan. Transisi metode pembelajaran konvensional menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam waktu singkat mengakibatkan media pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya disiapkan dengan baik. Persoalan ini berpotensi mengakibatkan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap pokok materi pembelajaran. Dinamika persoalan pembelajaran saat pandemi memberikan ruang bagi penulis untuk mengenalkan SIG berbasis internet sebagai media pembelajaran jarak jauh siswa jurusan kehutanan di SMK Widya Nusantara Maros. Tujuan kegiatan adalah mengenalkan sistem informasi geografis (SIG berbasis internet sebagai media pembelajaran bagi siswa-siswi sekolah menengah kejuruan.  Metode kegiatan adalah pelatihan. Kegiatan dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Arc GIS online dipilih sebagai media pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa SIG berbasis internet mampu digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk mencapai capaian pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh.

Abstract

Manajemen bencana merupakan tahapan awal yang penting dalam operasi Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) dan mitigasi bencana. Pemetaan lokasi bencana yang baik dapat membantu penemuan dan penyelamatan korban serta memperlancar prosedur DVI. Peta tiga dimensi (3D) adalah sarana yang paling memungkinkan untuk membuat acuan lokasi yang akurat. Data untuk membuat pemetaan 3D ini adalah foto udara bertampalan dengan menggunakan UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) atau lebih dikenal dengan drone. Hasil pemetaan 3D ini kemudian digunakan sebagai alat pemetaan partisipatif. Pemetaan partisipatif ini difokuskan untuk menandai daerah berbahaya dan mitigasinya untuk pertolongan pertama pada korban bencana. Hasilnya adalah peta partisipatif yang memberikan informasi potensi bahaya, pengaman yang hendaknya dipasang di lokasi berbahaya, alat yang wajib dibawa pengunjung, papan peringatan, alat pertolongan pertama yang wajib ada di lokasi, dan pertolongan apa saja yang dapat dilakukan. Abstract

The Total population in the city of Yogyakarta in 2022 is 376 324 people, with a population density of 11 579 people/km2. The population will impact the amount of waste produced, especially household waste. Household-scale waste management is considered the most effective in reducing the waste handled by the Yogyakarta City government. So that it is essential to socialize waste management activities by providing counseling on how to sort organic and inorganic waste, how to make organic waste into compost, and inorganic waste using the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Disposal (3R + 1 D) method and the Waste Bank program. People in Yogyakarta City curly know how much waste management affects the public knowledge level. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of waste management on the level of public knowledge. The research method used quantitative descriptive research with the interview and questionnaire. Respondents have participated in the socialization of waste management in Yogyakarta City. The result of the research is that the effect of waste management will increase the knowledge of the people of Yogyakarta City. Public knowledge will also increase community habits and behavior in waste management using the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Disposal (3R + 1 D) and the Waste Bank program spread in Yogyakarta City 448 spread on 14 sub-districts.

Abstract

Sukoharjo District has the highest rice productivity in Central Java. Sukoharjo has a strategic location. It makes this area prone to land use changes. It makes a severe impact on Paddy's productivity. This condition needs to be monitored continually. Remote sensing can provide an efficient and accurate method to solve this condition. Using the NDVI from Landsat 8 imagery and ubinan data, the model can be built to calculate and analyze paddy™s productivity. The steps were 1) interpretation of paddy fields area; 2) calculation of NDVI™s mean values a month before harvesting; 3) interpretation accuracy test; 4) correlation value between NDVI and ubinan data in 2022; 5) calculation of paddy productivity; and 6) analysis. Within a decade (2013-2023), there was a reduction in paddy's yield area for 981.90 Ha. During that period, there was an increase in paddy's productivity, around 38.2 x 103 tons. Almost all sub-districts in Sukoharjo™s yield had been reduced except for Tawangsari and Weru. Kartasura and Grogol have experienced an intensive change in paddy yields to non-paddy yields. Intensive land use changes affected paddy™s productivity. Multi-temporal imagery combined with ubinan data can be used to monitor paddy™s productivity. Forty-one points were calculated for the y (productivity) and x (NDVI value) equation. The equation resulting from this method (y=6.2212x+6.7444) can be used as a reference for calculating productivity in Sukoharjo District in different periods. From different calculations, the accuracy obtained from this method was 86%.Keywords: Landsat 8; NDVI; Paddy™s Productivity; Sukoharjo; Ubinan data
