Abstract

SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) merupakan sistem yang digunakan untuk pengawasan, pengendalian, dan pengumpulan data suatu proses industri. Sistem ini telah banyak digunakan di berbagai industri. Seiring dengan berkembangnya otomasi industri muncul kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan modul praktikum bagi mahasiswa program studi instrumentasi di Politeknik Negeri Batam. Salah satu dari modul tersebut adalah CE101 Pressure Measurement and Control Plant dengan pengembangan berupa penambahan sistem akuisisi data berbasis PLC CP1H, tampilan antarmuka menggunakan aplikasi SCADA Indusoft Web Studio dan penggunaan OPC untuk sistem komunikasi. PLC CP1H tipe XA40DR-A dipilih karena memiliki port AD/DA yang dapat digunakan sebagai input dan output bagi sensor analog. Dari hasil pengujian terlihat kedua pressure transmitter yang digunakan memiliki karakteristik linier sesuai dengan spesifikasi perangkatnya. Hasil pengujian sistem akuisisi data, hasil pengukuran menunjukkan nilai persamaan sensor kapasitansi : Y = 1.24X "“ 0.33 dan ektensimetrik : Y = 0.79X "“ 0.51 pada pengukuran tegangan berdasarkan nilai tekanan. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan tampilan antar muka SCADA di indusoft web studio yang dapat menampilkan nilai sensor dalam satuan bar. Walaupun demikian error yang diperoleh masih cukup besar berkisar antara 11% sampai dengan 13%. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya jumlah data yang diambil untuk membentuk persamaan regresi.

Abstract

The research carried out developed a Fuzzy Mamdani-based irrigation sluice control system. The prototype built consists of an irrigation canal which is limited by a sluice gate. In the electronic circuit, ESP32 is used as a controller which is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor to detect the water level which is installed on the supply side and irrigation channel respectively. The sluice gate is moved using a DC motor. Fuzzy input consists of the height of the supply water level and irrigation channel water level as well as planting or harvest time, with a combination of 18 fuzzy rules. The results of level sensor testing carried out on four height targets with 80 trials, obtained an average percentage error for each sensor of 0.3% and 0.2% with an accuracy of 99.7% and 99.8%. The results of testing the sluice gate with a fuzzy system have 100% conformity with the condition of the water gate opening and closing with the level and time of planting and harvesting.

Abstract

Today, the current development of Batam City is not only in the development of industrial and tourism areas but also leads to the development of agriculture and plantations. This was done as a form of effort in maintaining food security for areas in Batam City, where initially a lot of food needs were supplied from areas on the island of Sumatra. The city of Batam, whose territory consists of islands, creates obstacles in the development of agricultural land and plantations. Among them are types of soil that are difficult for seasonal crops to grow; water resources that depend on rainwater; as well as access to agricultural and plantation locations that are spread across several islands, making it difficult to deliver logistics and agricultural products. Soil conditions greatly affect the quality of the plants produced, and the type of soil will affect the types of plants suitable for planting. Based on these obstacles, the Batam State Polytechnic formed a Community Service team to support the agricultural land development program, one of which was the development team for portable soil condition measuring devices in collaboration with a partner from "Kelompok Tani Maju Mandiri" on Setokok Island. Community service activities are carried out in stages, apart from field surveys in order to identify the needs of farmer groups, the current community service period has reached the development of portable soil condition measuring devices with test results still in laboratory testing and not yet testing on actual agricultural land. The field survey results describe the condition of the partner's agricultural soil, which is brownish-red in color, mostly clay. Plants that are quite successful in the form of green curly chili plants. The water source comes from small rain-fed reservoirs prepared around agricultural land. The results of the measuring instrument design have reached the laboratory testing stage, which has shown the value of soil nutrition. Testing measurements on agricultural land directly and assisting partners in operating measuring instruments will be carried out at the next community service stage.

Abstract

Ikan nila merupakan salah satu jenis ikan budidaya yang menjadi komoditas ekspor. Kelompok Tani ikan nila di Kecamatan Teluk Sebong Kabupaten Bintan merupakan salah satu kelompok tani yang melakukan budi daya ikan nila di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, Namun  mereka selalu mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga kualitas air kolam budidaya secara optimal. Beberapa parameter fisik yang harus diamati untuk menggambarkan kualitas air antara lain adalah derajat keasaman (pH), kekeruhan air (total dissolved solid), suhu dan kandungan oksigen dalam air. Selama ini, pemantauan air kolam dilakukan secara manual yang sangat tergantung pada kehadiran petani, sehingga menimbulkan risiko keterlambatan penanganan. Keterlambatan penangangan perubahan kualitas air ini menyebabkan tidak optimalnya hasil panen. Untuk meningkatkan jumlah produksi ikan diperlukan pemantauan kualitas air yang real time dan akurat. Hal ini disebabkan kondisi fisik air dapat berubah dalam waktu yang relatif cepat, terutama karena adanya polutan seperti paparan limbah dan sisa makanan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalah tersebut dengan cara memfabrikasi  sebuah teknologi yang mampu memonitoring dan mengontrol kualitas air berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem yang dirancang mampu memantau parameter pH, kekeruhan (TDS), oksigen terlarut (DO), suhu, dan turbidity secara real-time dan memberikan opsi kontrol otomatis berbasis aplikasi. Kelompok Tani Ikan Nila Kecamatan Teluk Sebong Kabupaten Bintan dijadikan Mitra dalam Kegiatan Pengabdian ini. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem ini, petani ikan  tidak lagi membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam pemantauan dan persentase kematian ikan yang ada dikolam dapat diperkecil. Setelah alat ini dipasang dikolam, dan berfungsi sebagai mana mestinya, pemilik kolam merasa sangat terbantu dalam melaksanakan usahanya

Abstract

Automatic medicine storage carousel vertical machine is a development of a combination of automation systems with storage systems, especially medicine storage. The medicine storage vertical carousel machine uses a design system such as a vertical carousel vehicle. There are shelves for storing medicine on each swing. This machine is controlled by PLC which drives the servo motor. The servo motor drives the machine's swing arm so that the machine can rotate. In the process of finding a medicine, The average time it takes the machine to find the fastest medicine and the bin condition is not shaking is 5.28 seconds using 7 Rpm at pulley driven speed. The indicator light will indicate which bin is being targeted and the machine door will stop when the photoelectric sensor detects a hand approaching the door.
