Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of early childhood through the traditional Tarek Pukat dance at TKIT Diana Assaffa Islamic Kindergarten, Lhokseumawe. The research employs a qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kurt Lewin model, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The subjects were sixteen children aged 5–6 years in Group B. The findings reveal a significant improvement in children’s gross motor abilities after participating in Tarek Pukat dance activities. In Cycle I, only 31.25% of children reached the expected developmental level, while 12.5% had not yet developed. However, in Cycle II, 81.25% of the children achieved developmental success, with 43.75% categorized as “developed very well.” The improvement demonstrates that Tarek Pukat dance effectively enhances balance, coordination, and rhythmic movement in early learners. The study concludes that integrating local cultural elements, such as traditional dance, into early childhood education provides both developmental and cultural benefits, enriching children’s physical growth while fostering appreciation for local heritage.

Abstract

Kreativitas membentuk seni rupa di RA Ceding Ayu belum berkembang, karena pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru adalah menggambar, mewarnai, dan mengunting. Selain itu media yang digunakan kurang menarik karena menggunakan bahan bekas seperti kardus dan koran yang sering di pakai berulang kali. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kreativitas seni rupa anak perlu media pembelajaran yang menarik, salah satunya dengan menggunakan media playdough. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas seni rupa anak usia dini melalui penggunaan media playdough. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada anak usia 5-6 tahun (Kelompok B1) yang terdiri dari 15 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi. Setelah data diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas seni rupa anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui media playdough. Pada kegiatan pra-siklus, tidak ada anak yang berkembang sesuai harapan atau sangat baik. Pada Siklus I, 13% anak belum berkembang, 53% mulai berkembang, 27% berkembang sesuai harapan, dan 7% berkembang sangat baik. Pada Siklus II, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dengan 53% anak berkembang sangat baik, 40% berkembang sesuai harapan, 7% mulai berkembang, dan tidak ada anak yang belum berkembang.   Creativity in creating fine arts at RA Ceding Ayu has not yet developed, because the lessons used by teachers are drawing, coloring, and editing. Apart from that, the media used is less attractive because it uses used materials such as cardboard and newspapers, which are often used repeatedly. Therefore, to increase children's fine arts creativity, they need interesting learning media, one of which is using playdough media. This research aims to increase the fine arts creativity of young children through the use of playdough media. The research method used was Classroom Action Research on children aged 5-6 years (Group B1), consisting of 15 children. The data collection technique in this research is observation. After the data was obtained, it was analyzed using descriptive statistics with percentage techniques. The research results show that children's fine arts creativity can be increased through playdough media. In pre-cycle activities, no child developed as expected or very well. In Cycle I, 13% of children were not yet developing, 53% were starting to develop, 27% were developing as expected, and 7% were developing very well. In Cycle II, there was a significant increase, with 53% of children developing very well, 40% developing as expected, 7% starting to develop, and there were no children who had not yet developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse teacher competence in the learning process at Sambinoe Kindergarten, Aceh Jaya District. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews with three teachers as the main informants. The results showed that teachers have four main competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies. However, the application of these competencies has not been fully optimized. Pedagogical competence can be seen from teachers' understanding of children's characteristics and fun learning designs, but the use of learning media and the preparation of lesson plans are still very minimal so that learning becomes less effective and less interesting. Teachers' professional competence is supported by participation in training and seminars, although self-development still relies heavily on individual motivation. Social competence is reflected in teachers' ability to communicate with students, parents and the community, and to introduce local cultural values. Personality competence is reflected in teachers' efforts to be role models and maintain ethics. Overall, teachers' competencies, especially in lesson planning, media innovation and self-development, are improving.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the use of serial image media develops speaking skills at the Mekar Sari Private Kindergarten. The research method used in this research is classroom action research. The subjects of this research were children aged 4 - 5 years (Group A) in the Mekar Sari Private Kindergarten, totaling 14 children. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the use of serial image media in developing children's speaking skills is very effective. This was proven in the pre-cycle activities, there were no children who developed according to expectations and developed very well, in Cycle I the children who had not yet developed (BB) were 13% and were starting to develop (MB) 53%, while those who developed according to expectations (BSH) were 27%. and 7% very well developed (BSB). In the second cycle there was a significant increase, namely developing very well (BSB) 53% and developing according to expectations (BSH) 40%, starting to develop (MB) 7% and there were no more children who had not yet developed (BB).

Abstract

Fenomena kekerasan seksual di lingkungan perguruan tinggi menjadi isu krusial yang menuntut perhatian serius karena berdampak langsung terhadap keamanan, kesejahteraan psikologis, serta kualitas kehidupan akademik sivitas perguruan tinggi. Minimnya pemahaman mengenai bentuk, faktor penyebab, dan prosedur penanganan kasus kekerasan seksual menyebabkan upaya pencegahan di tingkat kampus belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai strategi edukatif melalui sosialisasi dan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta kesadaran civitas akademika mengenai pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual sesuai dengan ketentuan Permendikbudristek Nomor 30 Tahun 2021. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi partisipatif, dan penyebaran media edukatif kepada mahasiswa, dosen, serta tenaga kependidikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pemahaman peserta mengenai definisi, bentuk, serta mekanisme pelaporan kekerasan seksual di kampus. Selain itu, muncul komitmen kolektif untuk mewujudkan lingkungan akademik yang aman, inklusif, dan berkeadilan gender. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual di perguruan tinggi serta memperkuat budaya akademik yang menghormati martabat manusia.
