Abstract

Mater Dei School provides education from an early age to high school, currently Mater Dei school is in great demand by students because of its superior achievements, especially in the academic field. At the junior high school level, Mater dei has a total of 496 students. This study aims to determine, namely: 1) How is the level of student satisfaction with the quality of services provided by SMP Mater Dei Pamulang, South Tangerang City, 2) What factors need to be improved by SMP Mater Dei Pamulang, South Tangerang City in order to improve service quality, 3) Knowing how the proposed improvements are prioritized for improving the quality of services at SMP Mater Dei Pamulang, South Tangerang City. The study took data of 100 respondents, then performed serqual calculations to determine the value of GAP, the results of the GAP were used as input data for Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) which then identified 6 attributes that must be considered and need to be considered by management to improve service quality. The next step is to calculate the Costomer Satisfaction Index (CSI). From the results of the analysis, the value was 79.125%. This means that the level of student satisfaction with SMP Mater Dei services is in the Satisfied category. Furthermore, the 6 attributes in question need to be recommended to managers to improve their services so that the service satisfaction value becomes 100%.

Abstract

This paper aimed to determine factors that affect significantly of parental interest in Islamic Boarding Schools. The subjects of the study were parents of students at Tahfidz Daarul Quran, an Islamic boarding school in Tangerang. A binary logistic regression model was used to analyze the association between parental interest and some covariates namely volition, needs, motivation, knowledge and school environment with used software R. The results showed that a binary logistic model combining knowledge and school environment provides the best model as the significance values of 5.02e-05 and 1.53e-04 are still 0.05 smaller and the wald values are 16.440 and 14.335 which are greater than 3,841. The coefficient estimation of the knowledge variable is 0.246 with an odds-ratio value exp (0.246) = 1.27. This means that parents who have a knowledge of Islamic boarding schools of 1.27 times more interested than do not have knowledge. Furthermore, the coefficient estimation of the school environment is 0.234 with an odds ratio value exp (0.234) = 1.26. It means that parents are more interested 1.26 times in a good school environment than in a bad school environment. So, knowledge and school environment are factors that greatly influence parents' concerns when choosing an Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Proyek pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komputasi siswa di SMK Letris Indonesia, Tangerang Selatan-Banten dengan mengajarkan mereka menyelesaikan sistem persamaan linear dua variabel menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan masalah matematika ini secara manual serta memperkenalkan aplikasi praktis pemrograman. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup serangkaian lokakarya dan sesi pelatihan langsung di mana siswa belajar dasar-dasar pemrograman Python dan menerapkannya untuk menyelesaikan persamaan linear. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan persamaan tersebut, seperti yang dibuktikan oleh skor pre-test dan post-test mereka. Proyek ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan matematika mereka tetapi juga membangkitkan minat mereka dalam pemrograman, yang sangat penting untuk prospek karir mereka di masa depan.Kata Kunci : pemrograman Python, persamaan linear, keterampilan komputasi
