Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of guided inquiry-based learning toward the improvement of environmental behavior and critical thinking of students in environmental education-based science. This study used the Classroom Action Research method through two cycles each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The objects of this study were 35 students of the 3rd class of Junior High School of SMPIT Raudatul Jannah in Cilegon, Indonesia. The results showed that on the first cycle it has no a significant change in environmental behavior and critical thinking competence of students but then an increase in the second cycle. In general, it can be concluded that guided inquiry learning in science can increase environmental behavior and critical thinking of students

Abstract

Talas Beneng merupakan sumber pangan alternatif yang banyak ditemukan di sekitar Gunung Karang di Kabupaten Pandeglang, baik berupa tanaman liar maupun hasil budidaya. Masyarakat sudah mengolah tales beneng menjadi tepung dan berbagai makanan olahan. Tales beneng merupakan sumber pangan alternatif selain beras yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal sehingga diperlukan perencanaan pengembangan tales beneng dari hulu sampai hilir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan gizi tepung dan makanan olahan tales beneng sehingga dapat membantu Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) pengolah talas beneng dalam menyediakan informasi kandungan gizi produk olahan kepada konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan uji laboratorium terhadap tepung dan keripik talas beneng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan parameter mutu talas beneng telah mendekati SNI tepung terigu. Kadar air dan kadar abu lebih rendah dari SNI terigu, begitu juga kandungan protein, Fe, Zn, lebih tinggi dari SNI terigu. Mutu mikrobiologis tepung tales beneng terhadap kandungan E. colli lebih tinggi, begitu pula dengan kandungan asam oksalat. Pada keripik tales beneng, kadar abu cukup tinggi meskipun masih dibawah keripik pisang, sedangkan kadar lemak dan beta karoten pada talas beneng cukup tinggi.

Abstract

Industrialisasi merupakan salah satu bentuk pendorong menuju modernisasi yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat. Perubahan pembangunan yang pesat akibat industri selain akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, juga akan berdampak langsung padakehidupan sosial budaya masyarakat setempat. Seperti dua sisi mata uang logam yang berbeda, memiliki dampak positif dan negatif tertentu bagi masyarakat sekitar. Oleh karena itu, perkembangan kawasan industri harus memperhitungkan dampaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendapatkan gambaran terkait potensi dan sumberdaya masyarakat sekitar kawasan industri; 2) mendapatkan gambaran mengenai dampak positif dan negatif keberadaan industri terhadap masyarakat sekitar kawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methode, dan pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kota Cilegon memiliki kekuatan sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia yang potensial menunjang pembangunan sosial ekonomi wilayahnya dalam mencapai kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitarnya; 2) dampak positif kawasan industri diantaranya mengurangi pengangguran, terbuka peluang usaha, kesempatan kerja, dan peningkatan kualitas kesejahteraan masyarakat. Sedangkan dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan antara lain lingkungan tercemar, kemacetan lalu lintas, terjadinya kasus-kasus kriminal, menimbulkan kesenjangan, masyarakat bergaya konsumtif, dan pergeseran nilai-nilai luhur budaya masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sektor pendidikan harus memperoleh perhatian yang khusus sehingga kedepan bisa meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang tentunya upaya tersebut bisa di intervensi melalui peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas belanja pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas belanja pelayanan dasar urusan pendidikan di Provinsi Banten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Data didapatkan melalui wawancara, FGD, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) APBD Provinsi Banten tahun 2016 sebesar Rp 8.811,0 miliyar, belanja urusan pendidikan yang terealisasi hanya sebesar Rp 3.96,35 milyar atau setara 5,7 %, belum terealisasi minimal 20% dari APBD Provinsi Banten; (2) Struktur belanja pendidikan terdiri dari belanja langsung 88% dan belanja tidak langsung 12%. Anggaran lebih banyak terfokus pada anggaran operasional berupa belanja pegawai dan belanja barang serta jasa sebesar 50%, sementara belanja modal hanya sebesar 46% (dari struktur belanja langsung); (3) Ketersediaan sumber daya manusia pendukung pendidikan belum dapat mengakomodir sampai ke wilayah terpencil, dimana rasio guru-siswa untuk SMA 1:18 dan 1: 15 untuk SMK. (4) Ketersediaan sarana pendidikan sekolah menengah agak sulit dijangkau khusus untuk anak usia sekolah yang berada pada kategori tingkat kemiskinan yang tinggi (kondisi ekonomi). Minimnya dorongan orang tua dan lingkungan masyarakat (kultur) untuk bersekolah, ketersediaan sarana jalan menuju sekolah membuat dorongan untuk partisipasi sekolah menjadi kurang; (5) Kondisi sarana dan prasarana dibeberapa daerah mengalami kerusakan, dan tidak layak digunakan untuk proses belajar mengajar dengan nyaman, juga daya tampung siswa pada sekolah tertentu di beberapa wilayah melebihi kapasitas seperti di daerah yang padat penduduknya. (6) Angka Partisipasi sekolah (APS) berdasarkan kelompok umur 16-18 tahun sebesar 66.73%, Angka Pertisipasi Kasar (APK) sebesar 69,73%, Angka Partisipasi Murni (APM) hanya 55,7 %. Kata kunci: Kualitas Belanja, Pelayanan Dasar, Pendidikan, Provinsi Banten. ABSTRACT The education sector must receive special attention so that in the future it can improve the quality of education which of course these efforts can be intervened through improving the quality and quantity of education spending. The purpose of this study is to find out the quality of shopping for basic services in education affairs in Banten Province. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data obtained through interviews, focus group discussions, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that (1) the Banten Province APBD in 2016 amounted to Rp. 8,811.0 billion, the realization of education affairs was only Rp. 3.96.35 billion, equivalent to 5.7%, not realized at least 20% of the Banten Province Regional Budget; (2) The structure of education spending consists of 88% direct expenditure and 12% indirect expenditure. The budget focuses more on the operational budget in the form of personnel expenditure and goods and services expenditure by 50%, while capital expenditure is only 46% (from the direct expenditure structure); (3) The availability of human resources supporting education has not been able to accommodate to remote areas, where the ratio of teacher-students to SMA 1:18 and 1: 15 is for SMKs. (4) Availability of facilities for secondary school education is rather difficult to reach specifically for school-age children who are in the category of high poverty levels (economic conditions). The lack of encouragement from parents and the community (culture) to go to school, the availability of road facilities to go to school makes encouragement for school participation less; (5) Conditions of facilities and infrastructure in some areas are damaged, and are not suitable to be used for the teaching and learning process comfortably, as well as the capacity of students in certain schools in some areas exceeding capacity such as in densely populated areas. Abstract

BUMDes lahir sebagai pendekatan baru dalam usaha peningkatan ekonomi desa berdasarkan kebutuhan dan potensi desa. Desa Sukaratu Kecamatan Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang telah mempunyai BUMDes dan juga memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pariwisata. Namun sampai saat ini belum tergali dan dikembangkan secara maksimal. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan BUMDes dalam penguatan ekonomi Desa Sukaratu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah desktiptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, pengamatan langsung dan pengumpulan data sekunder lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan BUMDes Ratu Harapan berperan dalam peningkatan kreativitas, inovasi dan variasi usaha BUMDes yang berbasis pada pengelolaan potensi desa di sektor wisata sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan peluang pasar. Juga telah mampu berkontribusi terhadap pendapatan asli desa dan membuka lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat desa. Kata Kunci : Badan Usaha Milik Desa, Penguatan Ekonomi, Desa Sukaratu

Abstract

Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri) adalah umbi-umbian penghasil pati yang memiliki banyak kegunaan yang termasuk dalam jenis HHBK. Porang di Provinsi Banten banyak ditemukan di lahan hutan rakyat maupun hutan negara, namun sejauh ini belum dikembangkan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi perkembangan porang dan memperoleh strategi pengembangan porang. Penelitian ini dilakukan wilayah Provinsi Banten pada bulan Agustus-September 2020. Responden diambil secara sengaja yakni para pakar yang memahami tentang perkembangan porang di Provinsi Banten. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi pustaka. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang termasuk faktor internal utama (kekuatan dan kelemahan) adalah dapat tumbuh di bawah naungan (0,70) dan pertumbuhan awal lama (0,70). Yang termasuk faktor eksternal utama (peluang dan ancaman) adalah kebutuhan ekspor masih sangat tinggi (0,79) dan jumlah bandar masih terbatas (0,72). Strategi yang terbaik untuk mengembangkan porang di Provinsi Banten adalah dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan dan peluang yang ada (strategi SO), melalui kemitraan dan kegiatan penyuluhan. Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri) is a non-wood forest products (NTFPs) in the form of tuber producing starch that has many uses. In Banten Province, porang grow at privately owned forests and state forest but so far has not been well developed. Therefore, this study was done in order to get information about internal and external factors that affecting porang development and to get development strategy of porang. The research was conducted at Banten Province in August to September 2020. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires and literature study. The data obtained were then processed and analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the main internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) were able to grow under the shade (0,70) and long initial growth (0,70). While main external factors (opportunities and threats) are export demand is still very high (0,79) and the number of ports is limited (0,72). The best strategy to develop porang in Banten Province is SO Strategy which is optimized the strength and opportunities factors through establishment of partnership between farmers and traders, and extension activities.

Abstract

The porang plant has a potential high economic value as a source of regional income and an export commodity. However, one of the biggest obstacles to porang exports lies in the limited supply of raw materials. In Mancak Subdistrict, Serang Regency, porang has been widely cultivated, but there are still many farmers who are hesitant to plant large amounts of porang. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the porang farming business so that its efficiency and feasibility values ​​are known. The research was conducted in April-May 2021 in Mancak District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews and literature study. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using the R/C Ratio formula. The results showed that porang farming in Mancak Subdistrict, Serang Regency is efficient and feasible to be developed with an R/C Ratio of 3.72, which means that every 1 rupiah of farmer expenditure for porang farming will get 3.72 rupiahs of revenue.

Abstract

Public Hospital (RSUD) of Banten Province, as the Province Referral Hospital, is required to always improve the quality of service in every line to achieve excellent service and also to give satisfaction to the public. Public satisfaction is one of the goals that must be considered by Banten Province Public Hospital because one indicator in achieving the success of health services is the achievement of public satisfaction. On this basis, it is important for the Banten Province Public Hospital to make measurements on the public satisfaction. Related to that, this study aims to find out the quality of public services in Banten Province Public Hospital, which is measured through Public Satisfaction Index (IKM), including problems faced in the provision of public health services in Banten Province Public Hospital. The research method used is survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The data is obtained through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The sample size is 100 people, which is determined by quota sampling technique. The results showed that quantitatively, the quality of public service in Banten Province Public Hospital based on Public Satisfaction Index reached 75.71, which is qualitatively categorized as good. Although it has been categorized as good, of the ten elements assessed, there are some elements that need to get serious attention, namely elements of information, complaint handling, the behavior of service personnel, service time, and supporting elements.

Abstract

One Roof System, as one of the administrative services in Banten Province, was created to accommodate the community's needs for good public services. The one roof system office is required to always improve its performance to achieve excellent service while at the same time providing satisfaction to the community. Based on this, the measurement of community satisfaction is something that the one roof system Office needs to do. This study aims to determine the quality of public services in 8 one roof system offices in Banten Province as measured by the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) and analyze the quality of One Roof System services in Banten Province. This study used mixed-method research. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The sample was 240 people, which is determined by the quota sampling technique. The results showed that quantitatively, the quality of public services at 8 one roof system offices in Banten Province based on the Community Satisfaction Index reached 75.66, which qualitatively was categorized as good. Although it has been categorized as good, several elements need serious attention from the ten elements assessed, namely service time, service fees, officer behavior, complaint handling, and supporting elements. Improvements in service improvement are carried out by paying online taxes through the Samsat Banten Hebat (SAMBAT) application, but it was still not optimal, constrained by the quality of human resources and the creation of digital culture.
