Medical profession students have a high level of academic anxiety, one of the interventions that can reduce expressive writing. This study aims to determine the effect of expressive writing techniques on reducing academic anxiety in medical profession students in Makassar. This study used a Pretest Post-test Control Group Design. The research participants were medical profession students from several universities in Makassar, totaling 6 experimental groups and 6 control groups. The measuring instrument used in this study was the academic anxiety scale. Data analysis techniques using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitneyy hypothesis tests. The results showed that expressive writing can reduce academic anxiety scores in medical profession students. The results of the Mann Whitney test, namely p = 0.004, show that there are differences in academic anxiety scores in the experimental and control groups. Wilcoxon test results are p=0.028 for the experimental group and p=0.783 for the control group. The results of this study found that the posttest score owned by the experimental group (mean = 90) was lower than the control group (mean = 113). The implication of this study is that expressive writing can be used as one of the media to reduce academic anxiety of medical profession students.

Karyawan sebagai sumber daya manusia seringkali dituntut menjadi seseorang yang profesional, kompetitif, dan kompeten. Semua tanggung jawab tersebut membuat karyawan kesulitan dan gagal dalam time management sehingga berdampak pada work life balancenya. Maka dari itu, dilaksanakan webinar psikoedukasi pada karyawan PT. Makassar Megaputra Prima dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan pengetahuan para karyawan PT. Makassar Megaputra Prima terkait bagaimana memanajemen waktu secara efektif untuk meningkatkan work life balance pada karyawan. Sebagian karyawan yakni 18 orang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan webinar ini dan dievaluasi melalui pengukuran pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, pada uji normalitas ditemukan nilai p 0.00 atau sig.<0.05 yang menunjukan data berdistribusi normal dan pada uji Wilcoxon nilai 0.000 < 0.05 yang menandakan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. Sehingga disimpulkan kegiatan webinar psikoedukasi ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman dan peningkatan pengetahuan kepada karyawan PT. Makassar Megaputra Prima.

In the Bugis-Makassar tradition, there are two forms of marriage, namely through the process of proposing (assuro) and through the process of making mistakes (annyala) which can end in elopement (silariang). Silariang is a marriage that is considered not to comply with the customary norms that apply in Makassar society, so it is usually difficult for the perpetrator to get the blessing of both parents. This research aims to obtain an overview of parents' decision-making process in giving blessings to children who perform silariang. The respondents in this study were two Makassarese parents who had daughters who did silariang. This research uses a qualitative type of research method with a case study method. This research uses semi-structured interviews as a data collection technique, by conducting triangulation and member checking as data validity techniques. The research results show that there are differences in the decision-making process by respondents, which are influenced by gender and thinking style. The implication of this research is that it can be used as material for self-introspection for parents in educating their children (especially parents who have children who are silariang perpetrators), as well as understanding themselves better in making decisions.

This study aims to explore the differences in the decision-making process between male and female respondents in dealing with the silariang incident, as well as to analyze the factors influencing their decisions. In this research, two respondents, namely respondent HT (male) and respondent DK (female), were the main focus to understand the differences in thinking styles and decision-making processes. The research method employed was a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, including in-depth interviews to explore the respondents' decision-making process. The results show that respondent HT adopts a perfect rational thinking model, making decisions quickly and logically, while respondent DK is more emotional, takes more time, and makes impulsive decisions. Despite these differences, both respondents ultimately made the same decision, which was to give their blessing to their child who was involved in silariang. This decision was considered the best option, taking into account the child's happiness and maintaining family harmony. This study also highlights the importance of self-reflection in parental decision-making and the impact of thinking styles and gender on the decision-making process. The implications of this research suggest that, in emotionally charged situations, a more rational and critical decision-making approach can help parents face challenges more thoughtfully.

In early adulthood, individuals have developmental tasks that must be completed, one of which is choosing a partner. In choosing a partner, individuals have different preferences related to the ideal partner they want. However, many women in early adulthood tend to set high standards for their partners which is the result of parasocial relationships with media figures they idolize. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between parasocial relationships and partner selection preferences in early adult women K-Pop fans. The participants in this study are 311 people. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The measuring tools used are the multidimensional measure of parasocial relationship scale and the nine mate selection criteria scale. This study uses a pearson product moment analysis technique with a correlation coefficient value of 0.252 and a significance level of p-value <0.001. The results showed that there was a relationship between parasocial relationships and partner selection preferences in early adult women K-Pop fans. In addition, further research is expected to pay attention to other variables that affect partner selection preferences and parasocial relationships but are not researched in this study. The implications of this research can be a source of information in the development of science, especially in the field of social psychology.

This study aims to analyze the impact of TikTok social media usage intensity on body image among adolescents in Sulawesi Selatan. In the current digital era, social media, particularly TikTok, has become a popular platform among teenagers, often showcasing visual content that can influence their perceptions of body image. The research method employed is a survey involving 223 adolescents aged 15 to 17 as respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring TikTok usage intensity and body image using. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant negative relationship between the intensity of TikTok social media use and body image in adolescents, with a significance value of p = 0.000 or p <0.05. The correlation coefficient of -0.397 or is classified as weak and indicates that the intensity of TikTok use is negatively related to body image. This study can provide a basis for the development of psychology programs that aim to increase awareness and control in the use of social media to maintain a positive body image among adolescents.

This activity aims to increase legal knowledge and awareness for teenagers through engaging seminars with the theme "Unknowing, then going astray: Obeying the law is cool". The seminar was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar with a total of 39 participants. The method used is pre-experimental design (non-designs) with the one-group pretest-posttest design technique. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical techniques that aim to describe or describe the data that has been collected. Based on the results of the pre-posttest, the results of the study showed an increase and development of positive knowledge and understanding by the participants.
