Abstract

This research was oriented to evaluate the mathematics learning in digital technology empowerment using the CIPP at SMAN 03 Pontianak. The researcher used indicators in the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (2018) to identify their existence and technical implementation in each learning agenda or CIPP evaluation sub-component. The research type applied was evaluative research with a qualitative approach. The evaluation output on aspects of the teacher's digital competence application in mathematics learning at research locations is on a low scale with an achievement percentage of 9.6%, with a percentage of <21% when assessed based on each component or sub-component of the CIPP evaluation model of digital competency application in learning mathematics even in some of the sub-components of needs analysis and identification of problems in the Context component and learning monitoring in the Process component did not identify elements of digital technology empowerment at all. Apart from being triggered by indicators of digital technology empowerment not specific to the Principal's academic supervision, the teacher contributed by not giving the special attention to the systematic implementation of the learning agenda along with elements of technology empowerment on it.

Abstract

The community service activity is motivated by the low utilization of interactive technology in Biology education in schools, particularly in the topic of the processes of transport and exchange of substances in humans. The main focus of this activity is to enhance students' cognitive abilities through the implementation of interactive videos in Biology instruction. The aim of this service is to promote the use of interactive video media to teachers and 11th grade students at State High School 3 Langsa as an effort to transform learning in the digital era. The activity is carried out with a participatory approach through stages of socialization, demonstration of media usage, and evaluation of student understanding. The results of the activity demonstrate an increase in students' enthusiasm for learning, as well as an improvement in the average cognitive test scores following the use of interactive videos. This activity demonstrates that the integration of educational technology in Biology instruction can enhance the effectiveness of learning and reinforce students' understanding of concepts.

Abstract

Kampung Tudong, located in Bansir Laut Subdistrict Pontianak City represents a local community that has successfully revitalized its cultural heritage through a traditional product called Tudong (a protective cover) made from mengkuang leaves that has existed since 1915. This product not only serves a functional purpose for the local community but also symbolizes cultural identity and has become a driver of the local economy across generations. The establishment of Kampung Tudong was driven by local residents’ concern for social and economic conditions and their independent initiative to build a craftsman village for Tudong production. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature review. The findings reveal that community empowerment is carried out through the cultural preservation of Tudong production, community involvement in handicraft training, and the official recognition of Kampung Tudong as a cultural tourism destination by the Pontianak City Government through the Office of Youth, Sports, and Tourism. The implications of this study show that culture-based empowerment can strengthen the local economy while reinforcing community identity and solidarity. This model can be replicated in other regions through a participatory approach and cross-sectoral policy support.
