Abstract

PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk. is a manufacturing company producing textiles and garment which has commited to provide high-quality products for its consumers. The company strives to improve its product quality and reduce theproduct defectlevel by setting out defect level standard by 10% of total production. However, in the implementation, the reject number occurred still exceeds more than the specified defect product tolerance limit i.e. 10%. This study aimed to analyze the quality control implementation which has implemented by PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk, to find out the factors resulting in reject product and to provide suggestion on quality improvement that can be applied by the company. Quality control analysis is done using statistical tools contained in Statistical Quality Control (SQC) such as check sheet, histogram, c-chart, Pareto diagram and fishbone chart.C chart analysis result showed that there were still 12 points passed the upper limit, indicating that quality control process in the company needs further improvement. Based on Pareto diagram, it could be seen that the dominant defects were crease mark (34,1%), spotting (27,2%), shading (22,6%) and miss print (16,1%). According to fishbone analysis, the main factors causing printing fabric defect are machine, man, material and method. The company could conduct preventive and corrective actions to decrease defect level by regenerating defective machine component, conducting employee training and enhancing supervision to the employee performance and production result of each process.

Abstract

Loyalty refers more to the behavioral form of decision-making units to make continuous purchases of the products of a selected company.The purpose of this study was to determine Customer Loyalty through Brand Trust and Service Quality with the Intervening Variable Customer Satisfaction at Meatlovers Outlets in Semarang City. by measuring indicators that affect the variables of Customer Loyalty, Brand Trust, Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction. The population of this study were consumers of Meatlovers outlets in Semarang City. While the sampling technique used in this research is the Purposive Sampling Method. The number of research samples is 100-200 samples from the total population of respondents. This research technique uses two approaches: 1). Confirmatory factor analysis, in Structural Equation Modeling (SEM); and 2). Regression Weight on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The model output in this study can make a positive contribution to Meatlovers outlets in Semarang City in an effort to be able to realize the continuity and sustainability of their business in customer satisfaction, both in the form of managerial implication suggestions and the formulation of scientific articles and measurement instruments. Managerial advice is aimed at Meatlovers outlets in formulating strategies to maintain their business so that consumers come back to buy Meatlovers outlet products.

Abstract

This study is about human resource management which aims to analyze the effect of knowledge management and learning orientation as independent variables on process innovation as the dependent variable, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study are the employee of Mitra Group, with 42 respondents who are selected using a census sampling technique as the sample. The data used in this study is primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. This research is in line with research on knowledge management conducted by du Plessis (2007), Al-Sa”™di et al. (2017), and learning orientation by Zayed & Alawad (2017). The data analysis method starts from the validity test, reliability test, and continues with the classical assumption test which is processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously and significantly all independent variables have an effect on the dependent variable seen from the results of the simultaneous significance test (F test) with a significance of 0,003 which is worth less than the standard significance of 0,025. The results of the partial significance test (t test) on the knowledge management variable on process innovation have a significant result of 0,002, while the learning orientation variable on process innovation has a non-significant result of 0,922. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that 25,2% of innovation is influenced by independent variables in this study, and 74,8% is influenced by other factors. The result of multiple linear regression analysis is Y= 1,194 + 0,638X1 + 0,022X2 which shows the positive equation of knowledge management and learning orientation on process innovation.

Abstract

The area around the prot forms an ecosystem for companies supporting export-import activities, especially freight forwarding. The competitive environment requires freight forwarding business acotrs to develop accurate strategies to increase company sales. There was a decline in sales at PT Link Pasipik Indonusa Semarang during 2021-2022. Effort that have been made to increase sales are by Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing.This study aims to explain the effect of Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing on Purchase Decisions for services at PT Link Pasipik Indonusa Semarang. Respondents in this study were 75 service users of PT Link Pasipik Indonusa Semarang. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. This Study uses mutltiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 26 software. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing variables have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.51 means that Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing contribute 51% to Purchasing Decisions and the remaining 49% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

The research aims to understand the influence of job training and commission on the performance of general insurance agents, a case study conducted at PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia Semarang Branch. This study selected a sample of 100 respondents using the simple random sampling technique and the probability sampling method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, literature review, and questionnaires. The Agree-Disagree Scale with a scoring range of 1-10 was used in this research. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, research instrument tests, and multiple regression analysis methods. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. The results regarding the respondents' characteristics showed that the majority of respondents were females aged 31-40 with a bachelor's degree as their highest educational background. Most respondents had been working as general insurance agents at PT Asuransi Allianz Utama for 1-2 years, primarily in the Semarang agency region. Descriptive analysis results indicated that all indicators of the variables job training (X1), commission (X2), and general insurance agent performance (Y) had high interpretations within the range of 42.9 - 61.0. The instrument test results on the questionnaire data were declared valid and reliable. Multiple regression analysis yielded the equation Y = 2.523 + 0.414X1 + 0.292X2. The results of both partial and simultaneous hypothesis tests showed a significant and positive influence on general insurance agent performance. The coefficient of determination test revealed that 59.9% of the variance in general insurance agent performance was influenced by job training and commission, while 40.1% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and examine further the principles, values and ethics, processes, and mechanisms of cooperation between Lazis Nurul Huda and University in improving the people”™s economy in Surakarta City, Central Java through the management of zakat, infaq, shodaqoh, and waqf in Higher Education. Also, this research discusses the challenges in maximizing the potential of zakat in Indonesia due to the informal collection process and the need for professional management. This research uses qualitative methods with case studies. Then the data needed is primary data through depth interviews. The findings of the research can be useful for Lazis Nurul Huda in improving its coordination with University UNS in managing zakat, as well as for other zakat organizations in establishing partnerships with, through scholarship and education program for mustahik in university. The research suggests that universities can contribute to this by establishing zakat management institutions, which can work in partnership with zakat organizations to improve the distribution of zakat and increase awareness among the public about the importance of zakat.
