Abstract

Background: Everyone has idolized a celebrity or public figure. According to the Great Dictionary of the Indonesian Language, a celebrity is a famous person, commonly referred to as an artist. A celebrity certainly has fans who support their career. Likewise, the country known as the Land of Ginseng is one of the most advanced countries, especially in the fields of technology and entertainment. South Korea's entertainment industry is not only renowned domestically but also internationally. This renowned entertainment industry encompasses music, drama, and fashion, which serve as role models for many fans. Purpose: To determine the relationship between celebrity worship and modeling behavior among adolescent K-pop fans. Method: Quantitative with a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 204 adolescents. Data analysis used Pearson's product-moment correlation. Two scales were used in this study: the celebrity worship scale and the modeling behavior scale. Results: There was a correlation of r = 0.803 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05), indicating a significant positive relationship between celebrity worship and modeling behavior. This means that if celebrity worship is high, modeling behavior is also high, and conversely, if celebrity worship is low, modeling behavior is also low. Conclusion: There is a relationship between celebrity worship and modeling behavior in adolescent K-pop fans.   Keywords: Adolescent K-pop Fans; Celebrity Worship; Modeling Behavior.   Pendahuluan: Semua orang pernah mengidolakan selebriti atau seorang public figure. Menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia selebriti merupakan seorang yang terkenal dan biasa disebut dengan artis. Seorang selebriti pastilah memiliki penggemar yang mendukung karir mereka. Begitu pula dengan negara yang terkenal dengan sebutan Negeri Ginseng, merupakan salah satu negara yang maju terkhususnya pada bidang teknologi dan dunia hiburan. Dunia hiburan Korea Selatan tidak hanya terkenal di dalam negeri namun juga sampai ke luar negeri. Dunia hiburan yang terkenal tersebut adalah segi musik, drama, hingga fashion yang menjadi banyak panutan bagi sebagian besar penggemar. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara celebrity worship dan perilaku modeling pada remaja penggemar K-pop. Metode: Kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan total 204 remaja. Metode analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Terdapat dua skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu skala celebrity worship dan skala perilaku modeling. Hasil: Terdapat korelasi sebesar r = 0.803 dengan p = 0.000 (p<0.05), terdapat hubungan yang signifikan positif antara celebrity worship dan perilaku modeling. Artinya bila celebrity worship tinggi maka perilaku modeling juga tinggi, sebaliknya jika celebrity worship rendah maka perilaku modeling juga rendah. Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan celebrity worship dengan perilaku modeling pada remaja penggemar K-pop.   Kata Kunci: Celebrity Worship; Perilaku Modeling; Remaja Penggemar K-Pop.

Abstract

Food safety, especially the use of hazardous chemicals, remains a major problem in Indonesia. The wide selection of packaged snacks available at schools makes it easier for children to obtain snacks without considering whether they are healthy or not. This study aims to determine students' understanding of healthy snacks in the school environment. The research method used is descriptive research with a survey type and quantitative approach. The research population consisted of 70 students. The entire population was used as a sample using saturated sampling technique. The instrument and data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results of data analysis and discussion led to the following conclusions. The level of students' perception of healthy snacks at school showed that 17 students (24.3%) were in the high category, 41 students (58.6%) were in the medium category, and 12 students (17.1%) were in the low category. The conclusion is that students' perceptions of healthy snacks at SD Negeri 1 Kaduela are in the moderate category. This means that students' perceptions of healthy snacks at SD Negeri 1 Kaduela, which should contribute to efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, are not yet optimal.
