Abstract

The underpricing phenomenon is a condition when stock price in primary market (IPO) is lower than that stock price in secondary market. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, financial leverage, firm size, share offering percentage, underwriter reputation and auditor reputation to the level of underpricing of share in non financial companies that conduct initial public offering on Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. The samples were 109 non financial companies which has been selected by using the pusposive sampling technique. This study uses quantitative analysis techniques with multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The study results showed that firm size, share offering percentage and underwriter reputation had significant influence to the level of underpricing where as profitability, liquidity, financial leverage and auditor reputation had did not significantly influence on the level of underpricing.

Abstract

The success of an organization depends on the quality of the members in it and how they develop it. Members of the Informatics Engineering Student Association (HIMA-TI) STMIK WICIDA Samarinda are known to have difficulties in leadership and public speaking skills, so this affects the quality of the members and hinders organizational success. The purpose of this training is to increase the knowledge and skills of leadership and public speaking of members of HIMA-TI STMIK WICIDA Samarinda in order to increase organizational success. The description of the design and training materials obtained based on this is an experimental research method that uses a direct learning process accompanied by discussions and case studies. There was an increase in the results of the cognitive evaluation of the training participants which showed an increase with a pre-test cognitive evaluation score of 57.58 participants and a post-test cognitive evaluation result of 73.03 percent, so that the increase in understanding of the participants after the training was carried out by 15.45 percent. The scale shows the results of the training that there has been an increase in the knowledge of the training participants regarding leadership and public speaking skills, especially in terms of organization.Keberhasilan sebuah organisasi tergantung pada kualitas anggota di dalamnya dan bagaimana cara mereka mengembangkannya. Anggota Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika (HIMA-TI) STMIK WICIDA Samarinda diketahui memiliki kesulitan dalam kemampuan leadership dan public speaking, sehingga ini berpengaruh pada kualitas para anggota dan menghambat keberhasilan organisai. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan leadership dan public speaking para anggota HIMA-TI STMIK WICIDA Samarinda agar dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan organisasi. Gambaran rancangan dan materi pelatihan didapatkan berdasarkan ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan proses pembelajaran secara langsung disertai dengan diskusi dan studi kasus. Terjadi peningkatan pada hasil evaluasi kognitif peserta pelatihan yang menunjukkan kenaikan dengan nilai evaluasi kognitif pre- test sebesar 57,58 peser dan hasil evaluasi kognitif post-test sebesar 73,03 persen, sehingga peningkatan pemahaman pada peserta setelah dilakukan pelatihan sebesar 15,45 persen. Skala tersebut menunjukkan hasil pelatihan bahwa terjadi peningkatan terhadap pengetahuan peserta pelatihan mengenai kemampuan leadership dan public speaking terutama dalam hal berorganisasi.

Abstract

The emergence of new media contributes to the existence of people who are considered marginalized, social media, especially Twitter, provides space for gay groups to have fans or what is known as fujoshi. Fujoshi itself is a term for female fans who like Yaoi/Boy's Love manga.  Fujoshi in Indonesia consume and disseminate the content they find on social media and Twitter. The method used in this research is qualitative research that aims to explore information in depth and is open to various responses. In this method, researchers analyze opinions contained in various contents, such as text and images. Data collection techniques were interview, observation, literature study, and linguistic criticism. Research validation uses triangulation techniques and data analysis so that a conclusion can be made. The results of the study found that there is a pattern of spreading homosexual content on Twitter where the symbols expressed are not vulgar but fall into a unique category because there are text and image symbols about homosexuals. These symbols and terms are used to distinguish accounts that produce homosexual or gay content.

Abstract

The high dropout rate suggests that students' well-being is in doubt, especially in relation to their subjective well-being. This study aims to investigate the impact of perceived social support and academic stress on subjective well-being. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 83 students of Faculty Pharmacy X University who were selected by simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used was the subjective well-being scale, social support, and academic stress. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression.  The results showed that: (1) there is an influence of social support and academic stress on subjective well-being with the value of F count = 9.367 > F table = 3.11 and p value = 0.000 and has an influence contribution (R2) of 18.6%; (2) there is no significant influence of social support on subjective well-being with a beta coefficient value (β) = 0. 141, t count = 1.284 < t table = 1.989, and p value 0.202 (p > 0.05); (3) there is a positive and significant effect of academic stress on subjective well-being with a beta coefficient value (β) = 0.353, t count = 3.202 > t table = 1.989, and p value 0.002 (p < 0.05). The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant influence between social support and academic stress on students' subjective well-being.
