Abstract

Development of digital-era force teaching and learning situation to have a technology innovation, also in teaching and learning mathematics. Mathematics include an abstract object, so it needs to innovate learning media and learning model to connect from an abstract object to concrete or contextual object so that students can easily understand mathematics. The fact that students’ problem solving skills is still low can be reduced by using appropriate media learning that suitable with students’ characteristics and technology development. This research aims to develop Android-based mathematics learning media with a contextual approach to material on systems of linear equations in two variables (SPLDV) that is valid and practical, and effective in improving students' problem solving abilities. The method used in this research is the ADDIE method (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This research produced a product in the form of Android-based mathematics learning media called MO SPLDV which was categorized as valid with a percentage of 78.378% and the practicality level of the product was obtained in the very practical category with a percentage of 90.42%. This product is effective in improving students' problem solving abilities based on the results of the N-Gain calculation which shows g = 0.5 which is classified as medium.

Abstract

Students' difficulties in understanding Integral Calculus material is one of the factors of low learning outcomes. This research aims to develop an Integral Calculus textbook with nuances of Indonesian culture and religious moderation in accordance with the curriculum in the Tadris Mathematics Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The type of research carried out is Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation) model is used. The instrument used in this research is an expert validation sheet consisting of material validation, learning, design, and moderation religious. The results of expert validation regarding material, learning, design, and religious moderation with percentages of 91.07%; 93,75%; 85% and 90%, respectively, the textbooks are declared valid 86% met the very positive criteria. Based on the validity test and positive student responses, it was concluded that the textbook was valid so it could be used in teaching Integral Calculus.

Abstract

Mathematical representation ability refers to students' skills in conveying mathematical concepts through images, symbols, tables, or other forms of representation. To improve this ability, effective learning strategies are needed. The purpose of this study was to see the comparison of students' mathematical representation ability between RME learning and STAD type cooperative learning in MAN Sumenep. This research applies quantitative methods with experimental approaches and Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The initial evaluation and final evaluation data were analyzed using the One Way Anova test. From the results of the analysis conducted shows that the value of Sig. is 0.000, which means the value is lower than 0.05. These results illustrate a significant difference in the ability of mathematical representation. So it can be concluded that there is a comparison of mathematical representation ability with RME learning and STAD type cooperative learning in grade XI students of MAN Sumenep. ABSTRAK Kemampuan representasi matematis mengacu pada keterampilan siswa dalam menyampaikan konsep matematika melalui gambar, simbol, tabel, atau bentuk representasi lainnya. Unutuk meningkatkan kemampuan ini, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat perbandingan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa antara pembelajaran RME dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di MAN Sumenep. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen dan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data hasil tes awal dan tes akhir dianalisis menggunakan uji Anova Satu Jalur. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa nilai adalah , yang berarti nilainya lebih rendah dari . Hasil tersebut menggambarkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan representasi matematis. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada perbandinga kemampuan rekresentasi matematis dengan pembelajaran RME dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas XI MAN Sumenep.

Abstract

Based on Moscow Ranking 2021, State Islamic University in Indonesia is still lower than other non-Islamic State University. This shows that the mapping of higher education readiness is an important aspect in preparation for WCU. Thus, there is a need for more in-depth research related to the level of readiness of universities. This study aims to determine the data description of the readiness of State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) to World Class University (WCU) and classify them based on that readiness. Quantitative methods are used in this study. The data were analyzed by K-Means Clustering. The data used in this research obtained from the Ministry of Religion's e-SMS Diktis system. The e-SMS system is a collection of data in each unit at a university based on WCU indicators, namely Good Governance University (GUG), University's Performance Improvement (UPI), Competitive Advantages University (CAU), and Global Recognition University (GRU). The results of the analysis show that from the four indicators it has not been able to achieve 100%. In addition, there are three clusters produced, namely PTKIN is very ready, ready, and not ready to go to World Class University (WCU). PTKIN need hard work in each indicator to be an international standard
