For intrinsic motivation variable of 2,292 is greater than t table 1,198 with a significance value of 0.024 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. the t value for the extrinsic motivation variable is 0.029 smaller than t table 1.198 with a significance value of 0.977> 0.05 so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is rejected. t value for the commitment variable of 2.470 is greater than t table 1.198 with a significance value of 0.015 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. The results obtained are intrinsic motivation influencing the quality of labor services in private hospitals. So if the motivation of medical personnel services increases, the quality of services provided will increase. Extrinsic motivation does not affect the quality of labor services in private hospitals. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of innovation strategy on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the mediating role of innovation culture. There needs to be more prior literature on innovation performance in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia, particularly in terms of serving as benchmarks for assessing SME success. A study utilizing a questionnaire was undertaken to gather data from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in Central Java, Indonesia. One hundred fifty surveys were collected and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The investigation findings indicate that both the proactive and the growth strategies have a good impact on the culture of innovation. Innovation culture was found to have a positive effect on innovation performance. Even though the culture of innovation mediates the relationship between proactive strategy and innovation performance, innovation culture still needs to be proven to mediate the relationship between growth strategy and innovation performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the moderating role of emotional intelligence in the relationship between work culture, commitment, and performance of healthcare workers at Muhammadiyah Amanah Sumpyuh Hospital, Banyumas. This study used a quantitative approach and involved 75 healthcare workers. Data were collected through a standardized questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that work culture significantly influenced commitment and performance, while commitment did not directly influence performance. Emotional intelligence was shown to act as a moderating variable that strengthened the relationship between work culture and commitment and performance. These findings suggest that strengthening work culture supported by the development of emotional intelligence can improve the effectiveness of hospital organizations. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to human resource management in the healthcare sector, particularly in the context of religious-based hospitals.

Abstract

IntroductionQuality management has progressively incorporated continuous improvement, stakeholder satisfaction, and organizational excellence, yet its dominant frameworks provide limited mechanisms for integrating moral intention, internal accountability, and ethical restraint into quality processes. Islamic Quality Management offers an alternative value-based perspective by connecting organizational quality with ethical and spiritual principles. However, the literature remains fragmented across sectors, geographical contexts, and methodological traditions, while the empirical foundations of its principal dimensions remain uneven.ObjectivesThis study systematically synthesizes the development and evidence base of Islamic Quality Management and examines how its ethical and spiritual dimensions interact with contemporary quality-management principles. It also develops an integrative Ethico-Spiritual Quality Management framework for explaining pathways from values to organizational excellence.MethodA systematic literature review was conducted following a structured study-selection and quality-appraisal process. Twenty-five eligible studies were synthesized using a hybrid deductive–inductive thematic approach. Eight Islamic Quality Management dimensions—al-haqq, al-itqan, al-amanah, islah wa tajdid, qadr al-zaman, ta‘awun, iltizam, and istiqamah—provided the deductive analytical framework, while additional themes were identified inductively.ResultsThe findings reveal uneven empirical support across the eight dimensions. Al-amanah and iltizam demonstrate comparatively stronger applied support, whereas al-haqq, qadr al-zaman, and istiqamah remain predominantly conceptual or qualitatively examined. Three integrating themes—spiritual accountability, Maqasid al-Shariah alignment, and ethical leadership—emerged as potential mechanisms connecting ethical values with organizational behavior, governance, continuous improvement, and quality outcomes. Islamic and conventional quality management converge substantially in operational practices but differ in their ethical-spiritual foundations, accountability structures, and intended purposes.ImplicationsThe findings suggest that Islamic ethical principles can complement established quality systems by strengthening moral accountability, stakeholder orientation, and value-based governance. Their organizational effects, however, depend on behavioral, leadership, institutional, and contextual mechanisms and require further empirical validation.Originality/NoveltyThis study advances the literature by proposing Ethico-Spiritual Quality Management as an integrative extension that connects Tawhidic orientation, ethical foundations, operational enablers, governance mechanisms, quality processes, and organizational excellence while distinguishing established evidence from relationships that remain theoretically grounded propositions.
