Abstract

Abstract One of the ways to prevent transmission of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) is to optimize the use of ICT by developing a website on physics learning for SMA in ISAGU IGI. Methods in website development activities will be carried out in two sessions, and the first session is to introduce Weebly and how to create a website using Weebly. The second session is to evaluate the website that has been made. The output of this activity is that each participant can create a website using Weebly for physics learning. The results of the PPM activities are videos on YouTube, and the learning module gets IPR. It can conclude that this learning website training is helpful during Distance Learning (PJJ) activities to help students understand the subject matter. Abstract

Repeated use of cooking oil produces waste in the form of waste cooking oil. Apart from being dangerous for health, waste cooking oil is also dangerous for the environment. To overcome this, waste cooking oil might be used for other harmless side products such as soap. To meet the soap standard, the waste oil must be reprocessed. Training on making soap from waste cooking oil has never been carried out before in the Pekan Nenas Pontian, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, so this service activity focuses on introducing, training, and implementing bar soap making from waste cooking oil to the community in the Pekan Nenas Pontian, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, as an effort to reduce waste cooking oil. The counseling webinar was held boldly on June 24, 2023. Meanwhile, soap-making training was held at Pekan Nenas Pontian on August 5, 2023. Soap quality testing was conducted at the Biochemistry Laboratory, State University of Jakarta, in September 2023. This activity used the active participation strategy method. The data obtained is in the form of social data, namely pre-test and post-test results, and scientific data in the form of soap quality tests, which are compared with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for solid soap, including pH tests, water content tests, foam height, and stability tests. Community knowledge has increased, as shown by the post-test score having an average of more than 60, namely 75, and the highest score is 90. This community service activity was a success.

Abstract

The internet poses significant risks to students whose cognitive development is still ongoing. These risks include negative impacts such as low literacy levels, exposure to pornography, instant gratification mindset, apathy, cybercrime, and cyberbullying. This study aims to cultivate positive behavioral habits and encourage teachers to create educational content on social media. Promoting positive behavior on social media is the primary focus of this research. Furthermore, building collaboration and elaboration between students and teachers in developing educational content on social media will enhance the school’s reputation. This study employs quantitative methods, utilizing variables such as social media, teachers' self-directed learning, and teachers' personal development. The respondents consist of 150 individuals aged between 23 and 35. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the data were analyzed through linear regression and path analysis. The findings indicate a positive influence of social media and self-directed learning on teachers' personal development, with a total contribution of 63.47%, as demonstrated by path analysis. The path analysis calculations suggest these three variables have a strong influence and significant relationship.
