Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembinaan kedisiplinan siswa melalui fingerprint presensi. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif di SMP Diponegoro 1 Jakarta. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembinaan kedisiplinan siswa yang dilakukan oleh sekolah dengan menggunakan fingerprint cukup baik karena dilakukan secara kontinu, terukur, dan memacu siswa untuk disiplin. Penerapannya dapat dilaksanakan dengan cara antara lain. Pertama, siswa masuk jam 06.30 WIB dan bersalaman dengan guru pembimbing ketika tiba di sekolah. Kedua, siswa diarahkan oleh guru pembimbing untuk melakukan presensi, menuju mesin fingerprint yang berada didepan ruang guru. Ketiga, hasil absensi kemudian di rekap oleh guru IT dan diprint, kemudian diberikan oleh wali kelas. Keempat, dari hasil data fingerprint tersebut siswa kemudian diabsen kembali di dalam kelas. Kelima, jika tidak hadir, siswa dapat SMS dari sekolah untuk orangtua. Hukuman diberikan oleh guru pembimbing berupa teguran, pengurangan penilaian, dan mendapatkan surat peringatan kepada orangtua seminggu sekali. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah program pembinaan kedisiplinan siswa melalui fingerprint presensi, cukup baik meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan utama dari pendidikan nasional Indonesia adalah menciptakan manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa. Diimplmenetasikan dalam kurikulum menjadi ketercapaian utama dan pertama berupa profil pelajar yang beriman dan bertaqwa serta berakhlak mulia. Untuk itu nilai-nilai religious sebagai implementasi sila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa harus dikembangkan setiap guru, tidak saja melalui pembiasaan dan pembudayaan sekolah atau mengawali dang mengakhiri kelas dengan berdoa, tetapi juga menjadikan setiap konsep atau teori dari materi setiap mata pelajaran di hubungkan dengan kehidupan religious nya, yakni keimanan dan ketaqwaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Namun dalam praktiknya tidak banyak guru yang memiliki kesadaran dan kompetensi untuk menghubungkan nilai Religious dengan teori dan konsep di setiap bidang pelajaran. Untuk itulah perlu kajian tentang bagaimana hubungan antara nilai religious dalam Pancasila dengan teori dan konsep dalam setiap pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari berbagai informasi, pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang hubungan antara teori dan konsep dalam setiap bidang ilmu dengan nilai religious dalam Pancasila di tingkat SMA/MA. Metode penelitian menggunakan kajian Pustaka. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa setiap bidang ilmu di tingkat SMA/MA dapat dihubungkan dengan nilai religious dalam Pancasilia. Hubungan tersebut dapat berupa guna dan manfaat dari ilmu terhadap peningkatanan religiousitas Pancasila atau analogi teori dan konsep dengan peningkatan nilai religius. Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara dengan tingkat komitmen religiusitas yang tinggi, menganggap nilai-nilai religius sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, belakangan ini terjadi kemerosotan moral, yang tercermin dalam meningkatnya kasus kenakalan remaja, salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pembentukan karakter berbasis nilai religius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai religius yang diterapkan oleh komunitas rohani Home For Generation dan menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan tujuh informan remaja berusia 18-21 tahun, serta empat key informan yaitu fasilitator, pembina, dan pengurus komunitas. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka dan dokumentasi lapangan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunitas Home For Generation menerapkan konsep nilai "Love God Love People" yang diimplementasikan dalam berbagai kegiatan, seperti Brother Sister Keepers, aktivitas peribadatan, serta pengamalan nilai religius. Nilai-nilai ini diinternalisasikan melalui strategi transformasi dan transinternalisasi nilai berbasis hubungan interpersonal, yang mendukung pembentukan karakter positif remaja dalam konteks pengembangan komunitas masyarakat.

Abstract

Repeated use of cooking oil produces waste in the form of waste cooking oil. Apart from being dangerous for health, waste cooking oil is also dangerous for the environment. To overcome this, waste cooking oil might be used for other harmless side products such as soap. To meet the soap standard, the waste oil must be reprocessed. Training on making soap from waste cooking oil has never been carried out before in the Pekan Nenas Pontian, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, so this service activity focuses on introducing, training, and implementing bar soap making from waste cooking oil to the community in the Pekan Nenas Pontian, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, as an effort to reduce waste cooking oil. The counseling webinar was held boldly on June 24, 2023. Meanwhile, soap-making training was held at Pekan Nenas Pontian on August 5, 2023. Soap quality testing was conducted at the Biochemistry Laboratory, State University of Jakarta, in September 2023. This activity used the active participation strategy method. The data obtained is in the form of social data, namely pre-test and post-test results, and scientific data in the form of soap quality tests, which are compared with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for solid soap, including pH tests, water content tests, foam height, and stability tests. Community knowledge has increased, as shown by the post-test score having an average of more than 60, namely 75, and the highest score is 90. This community service activity was a success.

Abstract

This study examines the trajectory of Indonesian democracy post-New Order, utilizing Jürgen Habermas's theory of deliberative democracy, specifically focusing on discourse ethics, the political public sphere, and popular discursive sovereignty. Through a literature-based analysis, enriched by empirical case studies and textual analysis, the research delineates the varying democratic experiences under the Habibie, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), and Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administrations. The Habibie era witnessed a democratic resurgence, characterized by increased openness and the integration of public deliberation into policy-making. Conversely, the SBY period revealed democratic stagnation, attributed to high-cost politics, a restricted public sphere, and ineffective institutional oversight. The Jokowi era marked a further regression, evidenced by the suppression of dissent, the consolidation of oligarchic power, and the erosion of meaningful public discourse. These findings suggest a concerning trend towards democratic decline in Indonesia, signaling a potential return to authoritarian governance. This research offers a critical analysis of these trends, providing a framework for understanding the challenges facing Indonesian democracy and informing future policy considerations.

Abstract

Implementing civic education learning in senior high schools has not improved students' quality as good citizens with the right civic skills. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the multiculturalism learning model based on local wisdom in the subject of civic education. The learning model is used to instill the values of cultural diversity in students in responding to demographic changes. This is a qualitative study with data collected through interviews involving ten students and four civic education teachers in a high school in Manado, North Sulawesi. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results indicate the values of local wisdom used as a model for multiculturalism learning. This research has implications for the culture of cooperation among students in conducting Civics learning activities in the classroom. It can act as an alternative for Civics teachers to develop the values of diligence, cooperation, and high school students' responsibility.

Abstract

Pancasila Education Learning requires innovative strategies to improve students' critical thinking skills. One effective method is role playing, particularly in the form of moot court, which allows students to engage directly in the simulation of law and democracy. This study uses a qualitative approach of a case study involving 36 students. Data were collected through interviews, non-participatory observations, and documentation that was analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show, first, role playing significantly increases student involvement in learning. Second, students also show improvements in critical thinking, especially in the aspects of analysis, reflection, and argumentation. Third, hands-on experience in trial simulations helps students understand the legal process and democracy in a more contextual way. The findings reveal that role playing significantly increased student engagement and contributed to the development of critical thinking skills, particularly in the dimensions of analysis, reflection, and argumentation. Students were able to connect theoretical concepts with real-life cases, evaluate evidence more critically, and articulate arguments based on logic and facts. They also demonstrated greater awareness of multiple perspectives and improved confidence in presenting structured arguments. However, the study also identified several challenges, including limited preparation time, varied levels of participation, and difficulties in formulating evidence-based arguments. Despite these constraints, role playing proved to be an effective and innovative learning strategy that bridges theory and practice, providing students with contextual and meaningful experiences in understanding law and democracy. Therefore, role-playing simulations hold strong potential to be integrated more widely into Pancasila Education as a means of fostering critical, reflective, and democratic learners.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the digital era demands a transformation in the Civic Education (PKn) learning method so that it remains relevant and is able to attract the interest of the younger generation. Conventional learning is often considered less interactive, so innovation is needed to increase student learning motivation. This study aims to explore various innovations in PKn learning by focusing on the use of digital technology as the main instrument. The research method used is a literature study, which is carried out by systematically reviewing and analyzing various scientific articles, books, and research reports related to educational technology and its implementation in PKn learning. The results of the study show that technology integration, such as the use of educational social media, game-based learning applications (gamification), podcasts, and interactive videos, has been proven to significantly increase student engagement and active participation. Other findings indicate that this innovation not only enriches teaching materials but also creates a more inclusive, collaborative, and responsive learning environment to students' diverse learning styles. Thus, this study concludes that strategic adoption of technology is the key to revitalizing PKn learning and providing a foundation for the development of more effective and meaningful learning models in the digital era. ABSTRAKPesatnya perkembangan teknologi di era digital menuntut adanya transformasi dalam metode pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) agar tetap relevan dan mampu menarik minat generasi muda. Pembelajaran konvensional seringkali dianggap kurang interaktif, sehingga diperlukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai inovasi pembelajaran PKn dengan memfokuskan pada pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai instrumen utama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, yang dilakukan dengan mengkaji dan menganalisis secara sistematis berbagai artikel ilmiah, buku, dan laporan penelitian terkait teknologi pendidikan dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran PKn. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi, seperti pemanfaatan media sosial edukatif, aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis permainan (gamifikasi), podcast, dan video interaktif, terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Temuan lain mengindikasikan bahwa inovasi ini tidak hanya memperkaya materi ajar, tetapi juga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif, kolaboratif, dan responsif terhadap gaya belajar siswa yang beragam. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa adopsi teknologi secara strategis merupakan kunci untuk merevitalisasi pembelajaran PKn dan memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan bermakna di era digital.

Abstract

This article examines the application of the character values ​​of independence and discipline to child rehabilitation in Special Child Development Institutions (LPKA) in Indonesia. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes relevant data to assess the effectiveness of existing programs, which encompass personal, intellectual, skills, physical, and spiritual development, in accordance with national regulations. Although these programs contribute positively to character development, their implementation faces significant challenges, primarily due to limited funding, inadequate facilities, and a lack of qualified human resources. These obstacles directly impact the primary objective of LPKA to prepare children for successful reintegration with a strong sense of independence and community discipline. To address these challenges, this study recommends implementing a collaborative model with the Ministry of Education, modeled after Malaysia, to address human resource limitations. A major limitation of this study is its reliance on secondary data through the SLR method, which does not incorporate empirical evidence from field observations. Therefore, future research should incorporate primary data to provide a more comprehensive understanding of this topic.

Abstract

Civics education plays a strategic role in fostering an understanding of democratic culture and the values of tolerance. Civics education plays a crucial role in shaping a young generation that is politically intelligent, responsible, and active in building a healthier democracy. Civics education not only teaches democratic theories but also provides students with opportunities to participate directly in various social and political activities, which can enrich their understanding of democratic processes and citizenship. Civics education is a crucial tool for building an inclusive democratic society. By increasing social and political participation and strengthening trust in public institutions, civics education can foster the values of tolerance and diversity that are so desperately needed in an increasingly complex society. Civics education, which not only teaches political knowledge but also provides direct experience in social and political participation, plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of democracy and tolerance among the younger generation.
