Abstract

Siswa usia SMP dikategorikan sebagai masa remaja, yaitu fase peralihan anak- anak menuju dewasa. Pada masa remaja, anak-anak mengalami masalah dalam motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosi. Peneliti menemukan siswa SMP memiliki kecerdasan emosi yang rendah, sehingga berpengaruh kepada motivasi belajar. Kecerdasan emosi merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam mengendalikan emosinya dengan baik dan menyalurkannya ke dalam emosi positif sehingga dapat mengatasi emosi negatif. Sedangkan motivasi belajar adalah dorongan yang berasal dari dalam dan luar diri seseorang untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 128 siswa SMP. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan analisis pearson correlation menggunakan SPSS 26.00 dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa angket untuk Kecerdasan Emosional dan Motivasi Belajar. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai korelasi 0.497 yang berarti kedua variabel berkorelasi sedang, kemudian nilai signifikasi 0.00 atau <0.05 menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima, sehingga disimpulkan adanya hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMP Negeri 8 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Centrifugal pumps are one type of pump that is widely used in industry and everyday life. This learning media is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the working principles, components, and applications of centrifugal pumps. In the working principles section, it is explained how centrifugal pumps move fluids using centrifugal force generated by a rotating impeller. Fluids enter through the inlet and are accelerated by the impeller, then released through the outlet with higher pressure. The main components of centrifugal pumps such as impellers, casings, shaft seals, and bearings are also explained in detail. Each component has an important function and role in pump efficiency and performance. In this final project, the author developed a learning media for pump disassembly and assembly to meet the material achievements in the syllabus. The methods used in this final project are data collection, identification of component needs, development of plans, creation of learning media, trial of learning media and implementation. After the development of learning media, it is hoped that the learning of the practical course on pump component disassembly and assembly and repair can be met so as to increase knowledge and understanding as well as skills for students.

Abstract

One way for students to achieve prosperity, especially economically, is to build an online business. An online business is a business that is marketed via the internet in various ways so that it can make money. This study aims to find out and analyze how the welfare of online business students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra, The research subjects were students who became online business people at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra. This type of research is qualitative and uses primary data collection techniques through observation and interviews as well as secondary data based on qualitative audio-visual documents and materials. The results obtained from this study show that students are able to gain economic benefits by doing business online. They are able to pay their own tuition fees and also do not ask their parents for pocket money, helping their family's economy. In addition, students earn non-monetary income by adding insight into digital technology, business understanding, and business relations. The conclusion of the research is the fulfillment of monetary income; this is evidenced by the statements of informants who stated that they have been able to meet their daily needs after running an online business and fulfilling non-monetary income. After running an online business, students gain an understanding of digital technology, business understanding, and also relationships that are able to help develop their business.
