Abstract

Literacy is inseparable from the world of education. Literacy is a means for students to recognize, understand, and apply the knowledge they get in school. Literacy is also related to the lives of students, both at home and in the surrounding environment to foster noble character. The results of this study include: 1. The school literacy movement at SMK Nusantara is at the learning stage, namely the implementation of various strategies to understand texts in all subjects. Which is then supported by the use of physical, social, affective and academic environments accompanied by a variety of readings (print, visual, auditory, digital), which are rich in literacy outside textbooks to enrich knowledge in subjects. 2. The character of class X students in SMK Nusantara is enhanced by practicing morals towards God, towards others and the environment. 3. Implementation of the school literacy movement in improving the character of class X students at SMK Nusantara by: a. Examples or examples taken by the teacher, b. Spontaneous activity, c. Reprimand or punishment given to students who do not take part in literacy activities, d. The coding of the environment by providing a literal environment, e. Routine activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Developing Adolescent Morals in Jlopo Hamlet, Tebel, Bareng, Jombang. This research method uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive methods, and data validity testing through extended observation, increased persistence, triangulation, and friend discussions. The results showed that the morals of teenagers towards elders in Jlopo Hamlet were classified as good. They use polite language, say greetings first, and do not cut the conversation. The role of Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School is very significant in fostering adolescent morals. As an educational institution, this boarding school is a place to gain knowledge for teenagers. As a social institution, the boarding school involves teenagers in religious activities such as pilgrimage to the grave of the saint. As a guide, the boarding school organises recitation and mastery of the yellow book which teaches morals and fiqh. With various efforts from Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, teenagers in Jlopo Hamlet are able to show good morals. This research is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic education and pesantren studies, as well as provide recommendations for other Islamic boarding schools in improving the quality of adolescent moral development

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of students, fostering student character through literacy culture at Pancasila Mojowarno Junior High School in Jombang. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive qualitative research design. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, documentation. The data was analyzed by means of data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data in this study using extended observation, increasing persistence, triangulation. The results of this study are student characters at Pancasila Mojowarno Jombang Junior High School including: religious, honest, tolerance, responsibility. Student Character Development through Literacy Culture at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang includes: mandatory library visits (fostering responsibility and religious characters), reading non-lesson books before learning begins (fostering creative, honest, and disciplined characters), holding literacy work competitions every semester (fostering creative, honest, and disciplined characters), creating mini libraries / literacy corners in the classroom (fostering responsibility characters).

Abstract

Abstract:In the subject of Islamic Religious Education students find it difficult to understand the subject matter, learning tends to be centered on the teacher while students are passive, the teacher uses the lecture method so that motivation in student learning is lacking. One of them is the teacher using the Role Playing method, Role playing is a game in a story with a clear purpose or story while in the world of education, Role playing is a planned learning activity designed to achieve specific educational goals. This thesis discusses the Implementation of the Role Playing Method in Increasing Student Learning Motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Subjects at SMPN 1 Mojowarno . This study aims (1) to describe how students' learning motivation in PAI subjects at SMPN 1 Mojowarno, (2) to describe the application of the role playing method to increase student motivation in PAI subjects at SMPN 1 Mojowarno. This research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive design, data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, non-participant, and documentation. Data is analyzed by means of data reduction (data reduction), display data collection (data presentation), and conclusion ( verification) (conclusion). The technique of testing the validity of this research data is by extending observations, increasing persistence, triangulation and using reference materials. The conclusions of this study are (1) Student motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang includes: Diligently facing assignments, Tenacious in facing difficulties , Showing interest in various problems, Prefers to work independently, Not quickly bored with assignments, and Can defend his opinion. (2) The implementation of the role playing method in increasing student learning motivation in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMPN 1 Mojowarno Jombang consists of: Planning a role playing learning program in the form of lesson plans (RPP), student handbooks (LKS), textbooks, or from other sources. The implementation of role playing learning methods includes: Making problems, Appointing participants, Playing roles, Observing and taking notes, Comments from students, and Evaluation of learning in the role playing method in the form of assessment rubrics, by checking whether it is appropriate or not with what has been assigned.

Abstract

Memorizers of the Qur'an play a very important role in maintaining, spreading, and practicing the teachings of the Qur'an. However, to become memorizers who not only memorize the text, but also understand and practice it in everyday life, they need in-depth guidance and knowledge. One of the books that is very relevant to this study is At-Tibyan fi adabi hamalati Al-Qur'an by Imam An-Nawawi. This book provides very useful guidance for memorisers of the Qur'an in maintaining the manners and ethics that must be applied in their lives as carriers and memorizers of the Qur'an. Guidance is needed in the study of the book At-Tibyan fi adabi hamalati Al-Qur'an to improve the understanding and application of the morals of students. The methods in this guidance are the sorogan, bandongan and mudzakaroh methods as well as interactive discussions and direct practice in everyday practice. The results of this book study assistance are an increase in students' understanding of the etiquette of carrying the Qur'an, the formation of noble morals in everyday life, an increase in awareness of responsibility as memorisers of the Qur'an, an increase in students' motivation to learn, an increase in the ability to implement the values of the book, and a strengthening of the tradition of knowledge in Islamic boarding schools. The obstacles faced are a lack of motivation and interest in learning, varying levels of understanding and difficulties in practicing the contents of the book

Abstract

Learning is a system that consists of an instructional system, namely components of messages, people, materials, equipment, techniques, and backgrounds or environments, which aim to bring students to understanding and as an effort to organize the environment to create teaching and learning conditions that are in accordance with Islamic teachings. , so that the learning that is obtained seems fun. This study aims to reveal and describe the implementation of Ahkam Tafsir learning through Qur'any Songs at the Bulurejo Islamic Boarding School, Diwek, Jombang. The type of research used in this research is field research, the approach used is qualitative which is descriptive in nature the design of data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. the results of the study found that the planning of learning Tafsir Ahkam through qur'any songs included: formulating objectives, determining material, methods and media to support teaching and learning activities. The implementation of learning Tafsir Ahkam Through the Qur'any Song includes: first listening first, second being invited to sing together, third right on target, simple, practical. while the evaluation of learning Tafsir Ahkam Through Qur'any Songs includes: first for the recitation of Ba'da Subuh, namely there is no evaluation, but the ustadzah directly observes and gives questions to the students, so the ustadzah can already know it. Both Madrasah and Tarbiyah Final Level Santri are required to be able to memorize as a condition for taking a diploma.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of the people of Delik Hamlet, Kesamben Village, regarding the fiqh of prayer through guidance on the Tafsir Ahkam study. The guidance is provided to address the low level of knowledge among the community regarding the legal arguments, requirements and pillars of prayer, the law of jama' for travellers, and things that invalidate prayer, so that worship can be carried out in accordance with the teachings of the Sharia. The implementation method includes lectures using the book Tafsir Ayat Hukum Ibadah dan Makanan by Muhammad Qoyyim Yaqub as the primary reference, accompanied by question-and-answer sessions and discussions to reinforce understanding. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge regarding the legal basis for the obligation of prayer, the rules for congregational prayer for travellers, the invalidators of prayer, and the understanding of the differences between conditions, pillars, and Sunnah. These changes also impacted behaviour, as residents became more disciplined, consistent, and devout in performing prayer, while also being able to balance their religious obligations with economic activities. The contribution of this community service lies in strengthening religious literacy based on effective thematic exegesis for rural communities, while also fostering religious character, social cohesion, and the application of religious moderation in daily life.
