Abstract

Some coast at south of East Java have been known as sea turtle nesting sites. One of that site is at Serang Beach, Regency of Panggungrejo, Blitar. Since a long time ago, Serang Beach is a favorite location for holiday because it has many beautiful and interesting spots. But, there is an educational spot, sea turtle conservation which not widely known by tourists. It shows that the publication about the existence of sea turtle still not enough. However, people must know about it because the population of sea turtle in nature is getting worse. The more people know about sea turtle will increasing the awareness to protect sea turtle. Therefore it is necessary to create an online publication during the global pandemic of COVID-19. The best solution is create a virtual tour about sea turtle at Serang Beach. Virtual tour is the best way to introduce the existence of sea turtle and give opportunities to return tourism activites which have been stucked for about two years because of COVID-19 pandemic. There are three main activities of this program including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preparation step includes literature studies, surveys to Serang Beach as program locations, permits and interviews with stakeholders, plotting and scripting session for virtual tourism videos. Implementation step includes video recording for virtual tour about sea turtle at Serang Beach, video editing, video publication on social media YouTube, and mentoring with partners through focus group discussions. Video virtual tour about sea turtle at Serang Beach on YouTube received positive responses from the viewers. The presence of virtual tour about sea turtle at Serang Beach increases people knowledge about sea turtle and encourage them to holiday at Serang Beach.

Abstract

Taman Kili-Kili Beach is designated as an Essential Ecosystem Area (KEE). 188/39/KPTS/013/2020. According to the Supervisory Community Group (Pokmaswas), in 2011-2020, there was an increase in broodstock as many as 52 turtles, and the eggs saved as many as 3323 eggs. However, since 2013 Pokmaswas data shows a decrease in the population of hawksbill and green turtles in turtle conservation areas, which is thought to be caused by climate change, global warming, and animals. This study aims to analyze environmental baselines, turtle populations, and the value of turtle ecotourism (ecological, economic values) and develop strategies to support turtle conservation at Taman Kili-Kili Beach Trenggalek Regency. The results of the adjustment of nesting habitats and turtle ecotourism, calculation of the Habitat Conformity Index (IKH) of turtle nesting, IKH = 77.77%, which belongs to the category (S1) is very suitable to be used as a conservation area and turtle nesting habitat. While the results of the calculation of the Turtle Ecotourism Conformity Index (IKW), IKW = 84.93%, which is included in the (S1) category, which is very suitable for use a turtle tourism area. The strategy for developing turtle ecotourism is in quadrant II, meaning that it utilizes the strengths possessed in the turtle conservation area by minimizing the threats that it will experience.

Abstract

Abstract

Total klaim dalam asuransi umum merupakan jumlah dari klaim yang telah dilaporkan dan klaim incurred but not reported (IBNR). Cadangan klaim IBNR belum diketahui nominalnya, sehingga perlu diestimasi.

Abstract

The problem facing in water ecosystem espescially reservoir in Indonesia is the blooming of Microcystis. The specific objective of this research was to determined the ability of indigenous bacteria formulation from Sutami reservoir, which be known have a capability of reducing nitrate, to controlled Microcystis growth. The research methodology as follow: the bacteria formulation was isolated from Sutami reservoir that had been tested having potency to reduce nitrate, than we carried out to examine the effect of that bacteria formulation toward the growth rate of Microcystis. This experiment have been done in laboratory. The formula of bacteria and Microcystis were grown together in sterilized natural media from Sutami reservoir adding with NO3-N 5 ppm. The treatment of this research were aeration and non aeration and variation of light intensity (2–3 Klux and 5–9 Klux). Incubation was done in laboratory with constant light for 12 hours per day. The abundance of Microcystis and bacteria were counted every day for 13 days. Then, the environment parameters such as pH, conductivity, concentration of nitrate, nitrite and ammonium were measured every weeks. The experiment was done with three replications at the same time using completely randomized design. The research result showed that there were found 22 species of bacteria capable to reduce nitrate in selective media, but only six species have highest potency to reduce nitrate more than 90%. The consortium of the six bacteria with abundance 4 × 107 cell/mL able to controlled the growth of Microcystis in laboratory 80–95% be started at sixth day after incubation. The bacteria consortium was found in this research can be recommended to used as bioagent active to controlled Microcystis blooming in the water if culturing of these bacteria utilize medium having no potency as source of pollutant in the water.

Abstract

Because of the fickle nature of the renewable sources of energy production, professionals in this sector have developed hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) that offer a constant and stable load supply. This research intends to build off-grid hybrid energy systems (HES) in Malang, Indonesia, that uses a solar generator, wind turbine, and biogas to power public buildings. The HOMER program was used to construct this model. Following the computations, multiple hybrid renewable energy system models are used to analyze each component’s capital cost and also cost of energy (COE). Furthermore, energy output, gas emissions, and a thermoeconomic assessment of several HRES models have been explored. Two ideal HRES models were evaluated: one with a biogas generator and one without. According to the research, employing a generator of biogas would reduce fuel consumption and emissions by 68.3%. This HRES model is impressive in light of Malang’s severe air pollution. Switching from diesel to biogas generator decreases NPC by 6.84%, according to the data.
