Abstract

The prevalence of severe mental disorders has significantly increased. People suffering from these disorders experience false sensations that are not based on real stimuli, such as visual, auditory, tactile, gustatory, or olfactory hallucinations. These false sensory perceptions can cause individuals to lose control, leading to panic and difficulty managing their behavior. Patients under the influence of hallucinations may harm themselves by attempting suicide, causing damage to their surroundings, or even harming or killing others (homicide). Sensory perception group activity therapy aims to enhance patients' ability to manage their hallucinations. Participants are selected based on the signs and symptoms of hallucinations, and a total of 7 patients have been chosen to take part in the therapy. The therapy's effectiveness is measured using an observation sheet. The activities are carefully planned, organized, and approved by the relevant social institution. Evaluation results have shown improvement in patients' ability to recognize and control their hallucinations. All patients were able to demonstrate how to reject their hallucinations. There are plans to continue this activity by training caregivers or nurses to ensure the continuity of group therapy.

Abstract

Eye diseases are a leading cause of vision impairment and blindness worldwide. Therefore, detection of eye diseases is crucial in the prevention of blindness. This study develops an eye disease classification model based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) using Transfer Learning with InceptionV3. The dataset consists of 1559 images, divided into 1249 training images and 310 validation images, covering 8 eye disease classes. The model was trained using 40 epochs with the Adam optimizer. Evaluation results show a validation accuracy of 81.29%. While the model performed well, some classes, such as hordeolum, showed lower accuracy, indicating areas that need further improvement. This study confirms that Transfer Learning with InceptionV3 is an effective approach for eye disease classification.

Abstract

Abstract

YouTube comments contain rich emotional expressions, but their large volume makes manual analysis inefficient. This study proposes a multiclass emotion classification approach for Indonesian YouTube comments using the IndoBERT model integrated with a database-driven incremental learning system. Comment data were collected through the YouTube Data API and labeled into six emotion categories: anger, sadness, happiness, fear, surprise, and neutral. Text preprocessing included lowercasing, text cleaning, and normalization of informal Indonesian words. The model was fine-tuned using three training–testing split scenarios (60:40, 70:30, and 80:20). The results show that the 80:20 split achieved the highest accuracy of 68%, influenced by an imbalanced class distribution with underrepresented minority classes. In addition, the system supports continuous data storage and incremental retraining, allowing the model to learn from new data without retraining from scratch. This adaptive mechanism makes the proposed system suitable for long-term emotion analysis on YouTube comments.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged local governments to improve the quality of public services through digital media, one of which is the official government website. However, the effectiveness of local government websites still varies and not all of them provide an optimal user experience. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of local government websites in South Sumatra Province using the K-Means clustering algorithm with the help of the RapidMiner Studio application. The data used is secondary data from SimilarWeb, covering four main indicators, namely total visits, average visit duration, pages per visit, and bounce rate. The results of the analysis show that local government websites are divided into three main clusters, namely effective, less effective, and ineffective. Effective websites have high visit rates, long visit durations, and low bounce rates, while ineffective websites have the lowest performance on all indicators. The variables of average visit duration and bounce rate proved to be the most dominant factors in determining website effectiveness. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for local governments in evaluating and optimizing their websites so that digital public services are more efficient, interactive, and responsive to the needs of the community.
