Abstract

Syariah Banking have great potencial, but behind that, there are many problem that is faced for competing and developing wider, that is limited amount to qualified of human resource. This research ave purpose for knowing uman resource practice and knowing relation between human resource with syari;ah banking performance, by focusing to organization measure. Metodologi research tat used is quantitatif method by survey, using cross section data. Result of this research shows that Syariah Banking in West Sumatera have implementation operational function of Human Resource Management. Human Resource Management function have important role in influencing Syariah Banking performance in West Sumatera is recruitment. Beside, this research can not analizing the effect of organization measure to relationship between implementing operational function of Human Resource Management with Syariah Banking performance in West Sumatera.

Abstract

This study purposed to describe, explain and know management practices in West Sumatra particularly Islamic Banking owned by the goverment. The study population comprised 4 Islamic Bank are goverment-owned: BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah, Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Syariah Nagari, using descriptive statistic as a tool of analysis. The result showed that Islamic Banking is mainly state-owned Islamic bak in West Sumatra has been implementing management practices but has not been fully impelmented optimally.
