Abstract

Abstract Students are expected to be able to improve their creative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills in learning mathematics. To achieve this goal, teachers must have the skills to apply Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTs)-based learning models with authentic assessment techniques. One of the authentic assessment techniques is project assessment. This community service aims to help teachers in the Caianjur Region have the ability to develop project tasks and their assessment instruments in mathematics lessons. The training participants were 27 elementary school teachers. The training was carried out by providing the concept of project assessment, developing project assessment instruments and practice by applying cooperative learning models. At the end of the training, a self-assessment was carried out to measure the ability to understand the training material, training activities and follow-up of training results in elementary schools where teachers teach. The results of this training show that training participants can know how to apply project assessment in the learning process in mathematics subjects, develop project assignments in mathematics lessons, and are able to share knowledge with peers. Abstrak Siswa diharapkan mampu meningkat kemampuan creative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, dan collaboration dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini maka guru harus memiliki keterampilan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTs) dengan teknik penilaian autentik. Salah teknik penilaian autentik adalah penilaian projek. Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru di Wilayah Caianjur memiliki kemampuan pengembangan tugas projek dan instrumen penilainnya pada pelajaran matematika. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 27 orang guru sekolah dasar. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan pemberian konsep penilaian projek, pengembangan intrumen penilaian projek dan praktik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Diakhir pelatihan dilaksanakan self assessment untuk mengukur kemampuan pemahaman materi pelatihan, aktivitas pelatihan dan tindaklanjut hasil pelatihan di sekolah dasar tempat guru mengajar. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan peserta pelatihan dapat mengetahui cara menerapkan penilaian projek dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran matematika, mengembangkan tugas projek pelajaran matematika, dan mampu berbagi pengetahuan kepada teman sejawat.

Abstract

Pickup cars are one of the most important means of transportation in the distribution of goods and logistics. However, many customers choose pickup cars without air conditioning because they are less expensive and more energy-efficient, resulting in lower operating costs. Car air conditioning systems generally utilize vapor compression systems, which consume a significant amount of energy. Additionally, some studies on thermoelectric cooling face challenges due to incompatible and difficult-to-install designs within vehicle cabins. To address this issue, this research was conducted on developing an innovative compact air conditioning (AC) system for the cabin of a pickup car. This system utilizes thermoelectric cooling (TEC) combined with a heat pipe sink. This cooling system features a practical and installation-friendly design compared to previous work, which can be integrated into existing pickup models without significant modifications. It is designed as a cooling box that generates and circulates cold air within the cabin. In this testing, the cooling box comprises six-unit thermoelectric cooling, where each unit varies using one-stage TEC modules and two-stage TEC modules. A 175-watt and 200-watt heat was applied and varied in the cabin to simulate the cooling load, and the air outlet duct's velocity also varied at 2 m/s and 3 m/s. The results showed that the thermoelectric cooling systems can significantly reduce cabin temperature increases, lowering the rise by 11.0 °C for a single-stage TEC system and by 10.8 °C for a double-stage TEC system compared to the cabin without a cooling system. The highest COP value of 1.4 was obtained in the single-stage TEC cooling system at a velocity of 3 m/s. The results show the potential of an innovative thermoelectric cooling (TEC) system when combined with heat pipes, offering an alternative cooling solution for the cabin of a pickup car. This proposed cooling system can be adapted for vehicles that require compact and energy-efficient cooling solutions.

Abstract

The training program on multiple-choice question validity for Madrasah Aliyah teachers aims to enhance teachers’ professional competence in designing and evaluating assessment instruments that are valid, reliable, and aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This program was initiated in response to teachers’ limited ability to conduct item validity testing, both statistically and conceptually, which often leads to less accurate assessments of student learning outcomes. The training employed an andragogical approach emphasizing active participation through interactive lectures, group discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice in calculating item validity using students’ test data. The results indicated significant improvements in teachers’ understanding and skills in computing and interpreting test validity more accurately. Furthermore, the program fostered reflective awareness among teachers about the importance of data-driven evaluation to support meaningful learning. Overall, this activity contributed to strengthening teachers’ professionalism and improving the quality of educational assessment in Madrasah Aliyah throughout the DKI Jakarta region. ABSTRAKKegiatan pelatihan validitas soal pilihan ganda bagi guru Madrasah Aliyah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dalam merancang dan mengevaluasi instrumen penilaian yang valid, reliabel, serta sesuai dengan prinsip asesmen Kurikulum Merdeka. Pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam melakukan uji validitas butir soal secara statistik dan konseptual, yang berakibat pada rendahnya kualitas penilaian hasil belajar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan andragogi yang menekankan partisipasi aktif peserta melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan praktik langsung penghitungan validitas menggunakan data hasil tes siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menghitung serta menafsirkan validitas soal pilihan ganda dengan lebih akurat. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga menumbuhkan kesadaran reflektif guru terhadap pentingnya evaluasi berbasis data dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang bermakna. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme guru dan mutu asesmen pendidikan di Madrasah Aliyah wilayah DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to develop website-based learning media on the subject of triangles and quadrilaterals that are suitable for use in learning in junior high schools. The learning media developed is named TuDi. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D) research using the 4D development model, which consists of 4 stages of activity, namely the definition stage (define), the design stage (design), the development stage (develop), and the dissemination stage (desiminate). The respondents of this research were 32 students of class VIII A of SMPN 238 Jakarta. The results of this research are (1) TuDi learning media is said to be very valid by obtaining a percentage from media experts of 91%, and the results from material and language experts of 94% with an average validity of 93% which is stated as very valid. (2) TuDi learning media is said to be feasible to use by obtaining the results of the teacher and student response questionnaire in the limited test of 96% and the results of the teacher and student response questionnaire in the broad test of 98%, with an average feasibility of 97% which is stated as very feasible. Based on the results of the validation and feasibility trial, it can be concluded that the website-based learning media "TuDi" in the material of triangle and quadrilateral plane shapes is feasible to be distributed and used in learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis website pad amateri bangun datar segitiga dan segiempat yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di SMP. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan diberi nama TuDi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D, yang terdiri atas 4 tahapan kegiatan, yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (desiminate). Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 238 Jakarta sebanyak 32 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) media pembelajaran TuDi dikatakan sangat valid dengan memperoleh presentase dari ahli media sebesar 91%, dan hasil dari ahli materi dan bahasa sebesar 94% dengan rata-rata kevalidan 93% yang dinyatakan sangat valid. (2) media pembelajaran TuDi dikatakan layak digunakan dengan memperoleh hasil dari angket respon guru dan siswa pada uji terbatas sebesar 96% dan hasil dari angket respon guru dan siswa pada uji luas sebesar 98%, dengan rata-rata kelayakan 97% yang dinyatakan sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba kelayakan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis website “TuDi” dalam materi bangun datar segitiga dan segiempat layak disebarluaskan dan digunakan dalam pembelajaran.
