Abstract

XYZ merupakan salah satu instansi yang menangani pendistribusian darah dengan jumlah pasokan yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi permintaan bersifat tidak pasti. Permasalahan terjadi pada manajemen persediaan yang berdampak pada fluktuasi stok darah. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan sistem dinamik untuk merancang model persediaan darah pada XYZ serta memberikan rekomendasi skenario terbaik terhadap permasalahan ada berdasarkan prioritas indikator tujuan. Struktur model digambarkan dalam causal loop diagram dan stock and flow diagram. Fungsi tujuan model pemodelan ini adalah meminimumkan ketidakstabilan terhadap persediaan darah sehingga dapat menstabilkan antara pemasukan dan pengeluaran donor darah. Empat skenario kebijakan yang disimulasikan pada model dengan parameter yang digunakan adalah jumlah donor pengganti dan darah kadaluwarsa yang rendah. Hasil simulasi skenario yang terbaik adalah skenario yang memiliki jumlah donor sebanyak 230 kantong setiap 15 hari dengan kebijakan pengadaan donor dua kali dalam satu bulan.

Abstract

UD.Ridwan is one of the community businesses in West Aceh, precisely in Ujong Kalak, which processes fish waste into animal feed. UD.Ridwan in its business activities has experienced several problems in the part of the supply of raw materials that are not fixed, because the amount of fish waste is not fixed per day. UD. RIDWAN in its production activities, every 1 kg of raw materials used can produce 761 grams of feed product. As a result, the results of feed production are also not fixed, and cannot fulfill orders from consumers, so there is often a mismatch between demand and orders. This will lead to unfulfilled consumer demand and delays in distribution to each distribution center (DC). UD. Ridwan distributes his products to existing DCs, namely: Medan, Banda Aceh, and Lhokseumawe. To fix the losses faced by the company, it is necessary to measure the performance of the supply chain first. There are several models of supply chain performance measurement systems, namely: POA (Performance of Activity) and SCOR (Supply Chain Operation Reference). POA is a model used to measure the performance of activities that are part of the process in the supply chain. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) merupakan media penyampaian ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada masyarakat. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan oleh Dosen Program Studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Teuku Umar. Pelaksanaan PKM ini dengan bertema pengaruh kesejahteraan guru terhadap kinerja guru di masa pandemi covid-19. Tujuan PKM ini adalah agar meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dan pengurus yayasan tentang hal-hal yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan guru untuk mencapai kesejahteraan yang layak sehingga dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru baik itu di masa kehidupan normal maupun di saat pandemi covid-19 yang sedang terjadi. Peserta PKM adalah para pengurus yayasan, Guru dan siswa-siswi Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) yang bernaung dibawah yayasan Makmue Raya yang keseluruhannya berjumlah 83 orang. Peserta PKM mengikuti sosialisasi yang berupa ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab mengenai pentingnya peningkatan kesejahteraan guru terhadap kinerja guru di masa pandemi covid-19. Luaran dari PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dan pengurus yayasan tentang hal-hal yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan guru untuk mencapai kesejahteraan yang layak sehingga dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru baik itu di masa kehidupan normal maupun di saat pandemi covid-19 yang sedang terjadi.

Abstract

Kue Karah is a traditional cake that has been part of the cultural richness of the Acehnese people for a long time. In West Aceh district, the center of Kue Karah production is in Meureubo District, especially in Langung Village. The problem of partners in making Kue Karah is the process of making karah cakes in the traditional way. In the manufacturing process workers experience the risk of fatigue, and musculoskeletal disorders caused by exposure to heat production equipment. In addition, the quality of products produced is not standardized and organizational and financial management is still family based. For this reason, it is necessary to apply the right technology to overcome this weakness. This community service program is a community partnership program between the university and UMKM makers Kue Karah. This program not only offers problem solving regarding the use of Kue Karah makers, but also technology transfer in the form of Kue Karah makers to improve the quality of Kue Karah products and increase production volumes. In addition, this service program also provides training and assistance in organizational and financial management. Thus this program has a comprehensive, meaningful, complete and sustainable value.

Abstract

After turning into a state university, Universitas Teuku Umar continues to improve a number of infrastructures including the addition of a number of buildings. Currently the only source of electricity used to run all facilities in the building only from PLN, so that in the face of obstacles such as blackouts, suspension of electricity supply, or other technical constraints will result in the cessation of all activities so that it has an impact on the decline in the performance of the Faculty of Engineering in general. Research on the application of solar panels installed on the roof of the building (rooftop) as Building Applied Photovoltaic (BAPV) was conducted. The purpose of the study is to find out the number of solar panels and other devices needed for the application of PLTS in the Faculty of Engineering Building. PVsyst V7.2 software It is used to obtain daily solar radiation values at the locations reviewed. The existing Total Energy (TE) value calculation method is used to determine the capacity of solar panels and other supporting equipment. Results show an existing TE value of 20,422 Wh/day or equivalent to 20,422 kWh/day. Based on te value the number of solar panels needed as much as 33 units of capacity 120 Wp, Solar Charge Controller (PWM) 12 V-250 A 1 unit, VRLA Gel Battery Brand VOS 12V - 150 Ah 41 units, Inverter Pure Sine Wave (PSW) Split Phase Inverter Charger Series power 1-6 KW 1 unit.

Abstract

             PT Ujong Neubok Dalam (UND) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang Perkebunan Besar Swasta Nasional dan pengolahan tandan buah sagar (TBS) menjadi CPO. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kerusakan mesin stasiun pemurniaan dengan diagram pareto. Jenis kerusakan kemudian dilakukan identifikasi untuk menemukan komponen mesin yang memiliki RPN tertinggi. Penentuan kerusakan mesin pada stasiun pemurnian dilakukan melalui diagram pareto dengan persentase kegagalan kumulatif 20%, sehingga didapatkan mesin vacuum dryer memiliki jumlah persentase kegagalan kumulatif diatas 20%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mesin vacuum dryer memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingginya kadar air di produk CPO. Melalui penggunaan metode FMEA, kerusakan komponen mesin vacuum dryer disebabkan oleh kerusakan komponen Nozzle Vacuum karena didapatkan RPN tertinggi. Adapun akar permasalah yang mempengaruhi kerusakan komponen tersebut adalah faktor mesin, material, manusia dan metode.

Abstract

Abstract

Palm oil is used in various industrial players because it has a fairly high economic value. The palm oil processing industry is a very important industry. PT. Ujong Neubok Dalam is a plantation company that is directly involved in planting, maintaining and processing oil palm into Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Supply of raw materials is obtained from the company's own plantations and from third parties with a capacity of 30 tons/hour. During the processing of Crude Palm Oil, several problems occurred. The increase in the level of Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and the level of water content (Moisture) which are outside the company's standard threshold. The standards set by the company PT. Ujong Neubok Dalam for a maximum of 5% Free Fatty Acid, a maximum moisture content of 0.5%, and a maximum dirt content of 0.05%. A total of 103 samples of CPO were tested for 30 consecutive days, found that 90 samples exceeded the FFA threshold, and 51 samples exceeded the moisture content threshold. The application of the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method in reducing the number of defects in this study, it is known that the root of the problem is human factors, machine factors, raw materials used, method factors and work environment factors.

Abstract

Community service activities (CSA) are a medium for delivering science and technology to the public. The implementation of this service is carried out by Lecturers of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Teuku Umar University. The implementation of this PKM with the theme of Commercialization of Agriculture is located in the Gampong Leukeun area, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The purpose of this Community Service is to give an overview to the Gampong Community about the importance of Agricultural Commercialization and as an initial effort to increase the commercial capacity of agricultural products by providing guidance and assistance. After the service is carried out, it is hoped that village apparatus and the community can understand and be able to apply it in Gampong Leukeun. Efforts are needed to narrow the gap so that the level of inequality in community groups in the village can be met, such as productivity gaps, digital inequality, data and information agriculture, Digital Agriculture and Millennials. for example through mentoring, intensive counseling and capacity building in farmer groups.

Abstract

Noise is one of the factors that can interfere with the welfare and comfort of employees' work. Too high noise can cause hearing loss, stress, and decreased concentration. Therefore, it is important to measure the noise level in the work environment and take the necessary measures to reduce the unsafe noise level. To measure the noise level at the machine room station PT. Socfindo Seunagan, the researcher used a noise measuring instrument that corresponds to the dar booth (sound Level Meter). This research was conducted at several points at the PT machine room station. Socfindo Seunagan, including near the main machines, around the production area, and in the employee's work area. The results showed that the noise level in the machine room station PT. Socfindo Seunagan exceeds the safe limits set by the Indonesian National standard. The highest noise level detected was 174 dB(A). Based on the results of this study, measures are needed to reduce the noise level at the PT. Socfindo Seunagan in order not to harm the welfare and comfort of work of employees. Possible actions include the use of ear protection, reduction of noise sources, and rearrangement of the layout of the engine room station.
