The existence of family support for prisoners is very important because it produces many benefits, one of which is motivation to improve themselves. Drug prisoners are one of the prisoners who really need family support, because there is a phenomenon of addiction that is felt. This study will attempt to show the influence provided by family support on the level of motivation of prisoners, especially to escape drug addiction. The research method used is a quantitative method with a type of correlation research followed by regression analysis. The research respondents used were drug prisoners in Tulungagung Class IIB Correctional Facility with a total of 33 people. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire techniques, namely family support questionnaire and addiction release motivation questionnaire. Referring to the results of the study, it is known that the family support variable has a significant positive effect on the emergence of the variable of motivation to escape addiction in drug prisoners in Tulungagung Class IIB Correctional Facility. This result is based on the calculated t value obtained, which is 7.361. This figure is greater than the t table, which is 1,692 so that the research results accept the Ha hypothesis which means it has a significant effect. The regression equation obtained is Y = 6,691 + 0,669X which has several interpretations of meaning, namely: (1) If the family support variable = 0 (constant), then the value of the addiction release motivation variable is 6.691; and (2) Every additional value in the family support variable, there is an additional value in the addiction release motivation variable of 0,669.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Lasamba Bakery vocational training program at Class IIA Salemba Correctional Facility, where the goal is to enhance inmate work motivation through bread-making skills training. The program provides inmates with the opportunity to develop practical skills that will be beneficial after their release. The study employs a qualitative method. In its implementation, communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure play crucial roles. Although socialization and communication have been conducted through various channels, including inmate interactions, challenges persist, particularly concerning inmate perceptions of the quantity and price of bread. Other obstacles, such as limited resources and specialized training, also need to be addressed to support the smooth operation of the program. With improved socialization and resource management, the program is expected to continue running effectively and positively impact the inmates' motivation and work skills. Indonesia, as a country with diverse ethnic groups, faces significant challenges in maintaining pluralism and tolerance, especially in the context of conflicts that are vulnerable among the tribes. This research aims to analyze the role of correctional officers in enhancing the legal awareness of inmates at the Class IIB State Detention Center in Pacitan. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The results show that correctional officers play an important role in providing legal understanding, fulfilling the rights of inmates, and acting as good role models. However, obstacles such as limited human resources and the discipline of personnel hinder the effectiveness of coaching. The legal awareness of inmates has increased through the outreach and guidance programs implemented, but there is a need for evaluation and enhancement of the staff's competencies to achieve optimal results. This research emphasizes the important role of officers in creating an environment that supports legal awareness among inmates, which in turn contributes to order and justice in society. This study aims to investigate the impact of the Personal Growth Initiative (PGI) on recidivism among repeat offenders at Rutan Class IIB Prabumulih. PGI represents an individual’s conscious effort for active and continuous self-development, which, in the context of corrections, can be a potential approach to reducing recidivism. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the PGI dimensions—readiness for change, planfulness, resource utilization, and intentional behavior—significantly contribute to helping inmates reduce their risk of reoffending. Inhibiting factors such as social stigma and lack of social support delay the rehabilitation process. This study highlights the importance of social support and correctional facilities in strengthening PGI among inmates to reduce recidivism rates. This study aims to identify strategies for the illiteracy eradication program to improve the literacy skills of inmates at the Class IIB Prabumulih Detention Center. The background of this research is the high illiteracy rate in Indonesia, particularly among inmates, which poses challenges in their rehabilitation and social reintegration efforts. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the strategies implemented in this program include mapping the literacy needs of inmates, designing a curriculum based on their needs, utilizing interactive learning methods, and receiving support from competent educators. The challenges faced include low motivation among inmates and limited resources and facilities. However, the program has proven effective in enhancing the reading, writing, and arithmetic skills of the inmates. In conclusion, the illiteracy eradication program at Class IIB Prabumulih Detention Center has a positive contribution to inmate rehabilitation efforts, but improvements in resources and external collaboration are needed to overcome existing challenges. This study aims to analyze the development of independence through the garment factory program at the Makassar Class 1 correctional institution in preparing prisoners to live in society. This program aims to provide work skills to prisoners so that they have sufficient economic provisions and are able to integrate with the community after serving their sentences. Garment factory independence coaching is considered a solution in reducing recidivism rates, because through the sewing skills obtained, prisoners can earn income both while in prison and after release. In this research, the method used is a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques to relevant sources, such as program participants, prison officers, and third parties who cooperate in coaching. The results show that this independence coaching program has had a positive impact on prisoners, such as increased skills, competitive income, and readiness to live independently in the community. However, there are still a number of obstacles, such as limited raw materials and labor regeneration when prisoners are released. Therefore, improvements in management and broader support are needed to ensure the sustainability of this program. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of a personality development program through mindfulness therapy activities for juvenile inmates at the Special Development Institution for Children (LPKA) Class I Medan. The focus of the research includes how the program is implemented, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors during its execution. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The implementation framework refers to David C. Korten’s theory. Additionally, the study utilizes the concept of mindfulness. The findings show that the mindfulness therapy program has been implemented in a structured manner and addresses the psychological needs of the juvenile inmates. The program materials are adapted to the participants’ conditions and delivered by facilitators who are capable of building meaningful emotional connections. The activities encourage participants to become more focused, calm, and aware of their emotions and life experiences. Juvenile inmates demonstrated active participation, openness, and gradual changes in behavior. Key supporting factors include institutional support, facilitator commitment, and a humane approach to activities. Meanwhile, the main challenges are limited facilities, a restricted number of participants per session, and uneven understanding of mindfulness among all participants. Nevertheless, the program has made a positive contribution to the character development of the juvenile inmates and presents a promising alternative approach to psychological rehabilitation within correctional settings.Keywords: mindfulness; personality development; juvenile inmates; LPKA; program implementation.

Lapas Kelas IIA Sragen memiliki platform digital seperti Shopee dan Instagram yang telah digunakan untuk pemasaran produk kegiatan upah, tetapi belum terjadi langkah-langkah strategi yang efektif dalam promosi dan penjualan. Disebabkan oleh terbatasnya sumber daya manusia, kurangnya keahlian teknis di bidang pemasaran digital, dan stigma sosial terhadap gaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana optimalisasi e-commerce untuk pemasaran produk kegiatan kerja pengemudi dan kendalanya di Lapas Kelas IIA Sragen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa meskipun e-commerce berpotensi untuk mengoptimalkan pemasaran kegiatan kerja pengganti, implementasi e-commerce masih terbatas karena hambatan internal dan eksternal, seperti kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang fokus pada e-commerce, pengetahuan petugas yang masih minim, dan persaingan pasar yang ketat. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang matang dan dukungan yang mampu, menjadikan e-commerce sebagai solusi efektif dan berkelanjutan untuk memasarkan produk hasil karya pemberdayaan, memberdayakan mereka, dan memberikan citra positif bagi Lapas Sragen. Kesimpulannya menunjukkan bahwa e-commerce dapat memaksimalkan pemasaran produk kegiatan kompensasi, menjadi alternatif pilihan dalam pemasaran di Lapas, dan dapat mengatasi sumber daya yang terbatas. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan peningkatan strategi digital, edukasi masyarakat, dan dukungan sarana dan prasarana serta kebijakan organisasi yang sangat penting agar e-commerce dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal guna memperluas pasar dan membangun citra positif produk secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract. Talking about murder means talking about the perpetrator, the victim and the occurrence of the murder itself. Many questions arise about this type of crime, including who is the perpetrator, who is the victim, what is the motivation of the perpetrator to kill the life of the victim, how chronological the incident is and so on. Various studies on killings show that most perpetrators of murder are people who were previously known to the victim. When someone we don't know is killed, maybe we don't care too much about it. Different if the person killed is someone we know close, while the culprit is a member of his own family. You could think twice about ignoring it. It is interesting to look at what if the murder occurred in the family. Through qualitative research on five informants of murder cases in the family, the researchers tried to describe how the stages of interaction were carried out by the perpetrators and victims. The data obtained using this in-depth interview technique shows that before this event occurred, there was a strong interaction between the perpetrator and the victim. The occurrence of this event is not solely a one-sided perpetrator's action, but precisely the victim's step makes a big contribution so that he is killed. Actors and victims also go through several stages of interaction before ending in murder. However, there are also cases that do not go through the stages of the overall interaction. Abstrak. Bicara hal pembunuhan berarti bicara pelaku, korban, dan peristiwa pembunuhan tersebut. Banyak pertanyaan muncul soal tipe kejahatan ini, termasuk siapa pelaku, korban dan atas motif apa pelaku mengakhiri nyawa korban, bagaimana kronologi peristiwa tersebut dan semacamnya. Banyak kajian pembunuhan menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan pelaku pembunuhan adalah orang-orang yang sebelumnya dikenal oleh korban. Ketika seseorang yang tidak kita kenal terbunuh, mungkin kita tidak terlalu peduli. Beda cerita kalau yang terbunuh adalah orang yang kita kenal akrab, sedangkan pelakunya adalah anggota keluarganya. Kamu mungkin berpikir dua kali untuk mengabaikannya. Menarik untuk melihat bagaimana jika pembunuhan terjadi dalam keluarga. Melalui penelitian kualitatif terhadap lima kabar kasus pembunuhan di keluarga, peneliti mencoba mendeskripsikan bagaimana tahap-tahap interaksi terjadi antara pelaku dan korban. Data diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara mendalam menunjukkan bahwa sebelum peristiwa terjadi, terdapat interaksi antara pelaku dan korban. Terjadinya peristiwa ini bukan semata-mata tindakan pelaku sepihak, tapi langkah korban turut andil besar sehingga ia terbunuh. Pelaku dan korban juga menjalani beberapa tahapan interaksi sebelum berakhir dalam pembunuhan. Tetapi banyak juga kasus yang tidak melalui tapahan tersebut secara keseluruhan.

Imprisonment is still an option for resolving criminal cases committed by criminal perpetrators, including female perpetrators. Imprisonment for certain cases should be carried out as an ultimum remedium by first considering providing alternative solutions through restorative justice by fulfilling a sense of justice for all parties involved through efforts to involve victims, perpetrators and the local community as well as investigators as mediators. The imposition of imprisonment, which is still dominant on criminal offenders, also has a direct impact on the increasing occupancy rate in correctional institutions compared to the available housing capacity. This research aims to determine restorative justice for female criminal perpetrators and obstacles in implementing restorative justice for women who are in conflict with the law as perpetrators with the research location at the Serang State Detention Center. The research method used is normative-empirical legal research where data will be collected using document study techniques such as statutory regulations and literature which will be analyzed descriptively qualitatively and complemented by interviews with female prisoners at the Serang State Detention Center. The research results show there are no specific arrangements for handling criminal cases using a restorative justice approach for women who commit criminal acts in the investigation and prosecution stages, and there are obstacles in implementing restorative justice for women perpetrators of criminal acts that cannot be carried out optimally due to the perpetrator's lack of knowledge of alternative solutions through restorative justice and the failure to reach an agreement between the perpetrator and the victim, and there is no agreement on fulfilling the rights of victims and the responsibilities of perpetrators
