Abstract

The soft and hard skills literacy based training program is considered necessary, especially for non-secular based educational units, such as theological schools, to equip students with skills so that after graduation they are able to become independent mission workers. The implementation of this service program activity is divided into three sessions, namely interactive lectures, demonstrations and training, and practice / demonstrations. Observation and qualitative assessment were conducted in each session. The results of the program show that students understand and are able to practice the spiritual and professional principles of talent, soft and hard skills.

Abstract

Introduction: Tilapia have different growth rates in male and female fish where the growth of male fish is faster than female. Therefore, in tilapia farming activities, the production of tilapia weighing >100g/head is difficult to achieve due to uncontrolled spawning. Method: This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replicates, namely treatment A (control), B (Senggani fruit extract 0.75 g/kg feed), C (extract 1.5 g/kg feed), D (extract 2.25 g/kg feed), E (extract 3 g/kg feed). The organisms used in the study were 7-day-old tilapia larvae. Tilapia larvae were given feed that had been added with Senggani fruit extract according to the treatment dose. Tilapia were reared for 62 days, and given artificial feed containing 41% protein, each feeding was given with a frequency of 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, evening). Results and Discussion: The results showed that the highest percentage of male sex was found in treatments A, B, C, D and E, which amounted to 50; 56.25; 57.5; 58.75; and 60%, respectively. Daily growth rate, survival and feed conversion ratio obtained during the study in each treatment amounted to 7.49, 7.45; 7.44; 7.46; and 7.40. for survival 73.75; 72.5; 72.5; 70; and 68.75 then the results of feed conversion ratio respectively 1.86; 1.88; 1.89; 1.86; and 1.91. The analysis showed that the highest percentage of male sex was found in the treatment of 3 g/kg feed which amounted to 60% (P>0.05). Daily growth rate, survival rate and feed conversion ratio did not significantly affect the treatment given (p>0.05). Conclusion: The results of water quality measurements obtained are still within the optimum limits for tilapia rearing. Conclusion: Feeding using Senggani fruit extract to masculinize tilapia did not have a significant effect (p>0.05) on the percentage of male tilapia, daily growth rate and feed conversion ratio.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious public health issue in Indonesia, impacting children's health, brain development, and quality of life in the long term. Stunting refers to chronic malnutrition in infants during the first 1,000 days of life, leading to inhibited brain development and delayed physical growth, causing affected children to be shorter than the average height for their age. Health education for community health workers (cadres) serves as an initial step in identifying stunted children. Nutrition plays a critical role in enhancing child development, and education to reduce stunting can be achieved through Community Service (PKM) activities. This PKM project aimed to improve the skills of community health cadres in reducing stunting through training on anthropometric measurement, the preparation of supplementary feeding (PMT), and digitalizing posyandu data. The program was conducted in Lerep Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency, targeting 20 community health cadres who work in posyandu (maternal and child health service centers). Methods included initial screening, education and training sessions, and monitoring and evaluation of implementation. Training sessions were held three times, covering stunting education, PMT preparation using local foods, and digital data management for posyandu. The results showed a 90% increase in cadre knowledge post-training. Cadres also improved their skills in anthropometric measurements and became adept at preparing PMT by optimizing local ingredients, such as moringa leaves.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of management information systems has changed the way decisions are made at various managerial levels. Information technology, especially the internet, allows easy access to relevant data and powerful analytical tools, enabling managers to make better and faster decisions, increasing efficiency and productivity in organizational operations. The computer as the main tool in the information system has two main components, namely hardware and software. Computer hardware, such as the mouse, keyboard, and CPU, are the physical parts that enable data processing, while the software provides the processes to complete these tasks. The operating system, as the main software on a computer, connects hardware and other software, ensuring that various applications can run smoothly and use computer resources efficiently. In building a robust management information system, proper integration between hardware and software is essential. The synergy between the two ensures that the resulting product can run well and meet user needs and project specifications. Some management information system applications that utilize both hardware and software include ERP, SCM, TPS, OAS, KWS, IMS, DSS, ES, GDSS, CSCWS, and ESS. By understanding the role and relationship between hardware and software in management information systems, organizations can build a resilient IT infrastructure that supports their operational success.
