Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan karena banyaknya pencemaran yang terjadi di Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan kesehatan masyarakat di sekitar sungai Sei Mencirim sangat terganggu karena kualitas air menunjukkan kondisi yang tercemar. Jenis pengabdian ini termasuk dalam studi kasus. Lokasi pengabdian dilakukan di Sungai Sei Mencirim pada bulan September dan Oktober 2024. Populasi pengabdian adalah aliran sungai yang mengalir melalui Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai, sedangkan sampel pengabdian adalah sampel air sungai di sepanjang Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai dengan cara mengambil tiga sampel pada setiap plot dengan jarak antar plot masing-masing tiga ratus meter dan koordinatnya ditentukan dengan menggunakan Koordinat GPS. Hasil pengujian parameter kualitas air sungai Sei Mencirim menyatakan bahwa parameter TSS, BOD, COD, total fosfat sebagai P, E colli dan fecal coliform telah melebihi standar baku mutu air yang disepakati dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2001. Hasil status mutu air Sungai Sei Mencirim Binjai dikarakterisasi memakai metode Indeks Pencemaran yaitu sesuai dengan batas baku mutu air termasuk dalam kategori tercemar sedang. E. Coli dan Fecal Coliform sangat tinggi. Sisi ini dapat terjadi sebab pada air sungai terindikasi telah terjadi pencemaran tinja manusia atau hewan pada air tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1). produce AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material of the structure of the earth's layers. 2). To determine the feasibility of AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material of the structure of the earth's layers. 3). To determine the response of teachers and students after the application of AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material of the structure of the earth's layers. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) development method using the 4D model through four stages including: Define, Design, Develop, Dissenimate. The results obtained from several relevant expert validators, namely, module experts get a feasibility score of 97.5%, material experts get a feasibility score of 86%, teacher responses get a feasibility score of 100%, and student responses get a feasibility score of 96.5%. Thus, the AR-based E-Modules in science lessons on the material "Structure of the Earth's Layers" in grade V Elementary School are very feasible to use in the learning process.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the fact that students' interest in learning in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject, especially in the material "My Indonesia is Rich in Culture," is still relatively low, which is indicated by the lack of active participation, enthusiasm in learning, and learning outcomes have not reached the minimum completion criteria (KKM) or learning outcomes are still relatively low. The interactive learning model was created to create a more interesting, active, and collaborative learning atmosphere so that it is expected to increase student involvement in the learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 40 fourth-grade students divided into two groups, namely class IVA as an experimental class using an interactive learning model and class IVB as a control class using a conventional learning model. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires on students' learning interests before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was conducted using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test with the help of SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average value of students' learning interest in the experimental class increased significantly after the interactive learning model was implemented. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive learning model has a positive and significant effect on increasing students' learning interest in the Natural Sciences subject with the material My Indonesia is Rich in Culture.

Abstract

Learning Media is a tool that greatly supports the learning process both indoors and outdoors. This study aims to determine the development of animated video media based on the Canva application with the theme of objects around me for grade III of elementary school. The method used is R&D (Research and Development) or in Indonesian it means research and development. The test subjects in this study were material experts, media experts, and grade III students of Mbernut State Elementary School, totaling 14 students. The research instrument is a measuring tool such as tests, questionnaires, interview guidelines, and observation guidelines used by researchers to collect data in a study. Based on the results of the evaluation conducted on the video learning media assisted by the Canva application, it can be concluded that this media has received a very good assessment from three different validator groups, namely material experts, media experts, and teachers as end users. The evaluation includes aspects of suitability, effectiveness, and quality of the media in supporting the learning process in the educational environment Based on the results of the validity of the validation of material and media experts carried out First, the Validation of Material Experts gave a very positive assessment with a percentage of 95.7%. This indicates that content experts rated the material presented in the video as highly appropriate, aligned with the established curriculum and learning objectives. Criteria such as accuracy, depth of content, and relevance to core competencies were highly rated in this evaluation. Second, Media Expert Validation yielded a score of 85.2%.
